It would be un–wenger like for a possible transfer to come out and say we're interested. I think it's a ploy to drum up interest to Prem clubs. Cardiff have today accepted an advance cash payment from forest for peter whittingham. This has allowed them to pay their player's outstanding wages and enough of their immediate debts to get the transfer embargo lifted, which in turn will allow whittingham to formally sign for forest later this week
What a load of crap you spout. Forest managed to scrape together a bid of 1 million, laughable and rejected out of hand. You will need a bid of upwards of 3 million and paid upfront to even interest City, plus Whitts wants to stay and has started discussing a new 3 year deal.
Same goes for Ipswich and Chopra, you will need a bid of over 4 million all paid upfront, plus a wage in excess of 20K a week, Ipswich cannot afford that neither can Leeds.
For your information: It was the the players bonuses and severance pay of the players that were released over the summer that were paid today along with Motherwell. HMRC had meetings with CCFC management today and they are close to agreeing the final payment of debt.
The last thing to resolve is is Charlton who i am informed will be paid over the next 48hours. I believe Skysports has the same understanding as they broke the news that Cardiff's embargo will be lifted Thursday it was highlighted on their breaking news at about 18:00hrs.
The funds to allow all this to happened came from our investors in Malaysia and certainly not Forest.

Just to clear a few points up heres, Celtic's budget won't be affected if as expected we go out of the CL this week.
The board have stated before that they don't account for CL money in the annual budget, these are the guys who reduced our debt from about £35M five years ago to about £2M just now so they know how to run a football club. And before any deluted rankers come on about mowbrays spending look at the total cash spent last year against the total brought in, we only spent about £3M more than we brought in.
Currently so far this season we have brought in several players and sold afew also meaning our total spend so far is only about £3.5–4M so we still have a bit more to spend, about £2M.
McGeady won't goto to Russia as he does want to move to the EPL, he'll go to Villa for about £8M after Milner goes to City. Liam Lawerance was one name mentioned as a replacement although Neil might want to give McCourt or McGinn a run of games to seeif they have a better end product than McGeady ( wouldn't be hard!!)
The Europa League transfer deadline is net Friday so expect Celtic to have concluded their buying by then, a new goalie, a new left back, a new centre half & another forward will all be brought in.
Leaving Paradise will be McGeady, Hinkel, Sammi, Sheridan & maybe Loovens, these sales added to the sales of Boruc, McManus, Caddis & Ferry will bring in roughly £15–16M. So far we have spent about £7M so its fair to assume that we will have £7–8M to sign the 4 new players, i would expect some money to be kept over until january(28)(26)

To the guy who claimed that players going to ibrox no longer happens is the 1 spouting nonsense. An agreement has been made for Milan Mandaric to sell Leicester City to a Far East Consortium! The deal was agreed in the summer and that is why Nigel Pearson told to find another club as the new owners wanted Paulo Sousa as there manager. Milan has sold 49% of the club and will sell the other 51% at the end of this season on the hope of getting some of his investment back if Leicester were to be promoted.
The shirt sponser will be anounced by the end of this week! it is related to the new owners.
The buy out will be anounced before the 1st home game against Middlesborough as it should all be completed by then.
On the transfer front Leicester now have a fair bit of money to spend and will sign 4–6 players in the next 7–10 days some have already been agreed.

Big rumour that Jason Roberts is going back to Bristol City this week. Not sure if it's a loan or not but the rumour seems to have some credibility. He's knocking on a bit but may be useful in the championship and he probably won't get a look in at Blackburn this season, or any other premiership side (except Blackpool maybe).(37)(75)

Have been on Holiday in Blackpool for the weekend with a couple of mates. As you can imagine, everyone is raving about the start of the premier league season. Whilst up there we heard a couple of names mentioned that could be brought in to the club.
Apparently, Robbie Savage has been offered a 1 year contract with the club (God knows why!).
Another one we heard over the weekend is the possible loan signing of Freddie Sears from West Ham.
Finally, the John Stead deal with Ipswich could be back on.

most players have a loyalty bonus written in their contracts that if they don't ask for a transfer then they get a certain payment for each year of their current contract.
I don't think he will join Spartak as e wants to hold out for an EPL team although it does mean Celtic willget a lesser fee than the £9.5M on offer.
Neilhas already said that he wants to bring in up to 4 more players, GK, CB, LB & forward. Exactly who comes in depends on the budget, Celtic have so far spent about £7M & brought in about £3.5M, most people would agree or budget is about £5–6M + what ever gets brought in, with Hinkel, McGeady& sammi all expected to be sold this should bring in about £10–11M, it would be fair to expect about half of this amount to be held back until the january window to see what areas need to be improved.(75)(42)

Milner is set to leave villa after falling out with MON again. He will go to Man city for 25million cash, or a 20million plus onuha deal, by the weekend. Ireland is reluctant to join as he wants to fight for his place at city.

Stephen Ireland has been Transfer Listed by Mancini after a bust up in America about Ireland not getting any games. He will join Villa, Fulham or Spurs.
McGeady is going to Moscow, originally MON was interested but after the immense pre–season Marc Albrighton had there is no need for him, not to mention he would be a disaster if her signed anyway. Ed any thoughts on the matter ??
