With regards to strikers, Inter, Real and Man Utd are all going to play swapsies - not 100% sure which way, but based on the fact inter dont want ronaldo back after few injury prone season earlier in his career, i think Van Horseface will be going to Inter, adriano to RM and ronaldo to Man U. Would have liked to see Adriano go to the gunners, but its not to be. However Ze roberto (under advice from gilberto) is heading to emirates....

Arsenal likely kicked out of champions league and 1 year transfer embargo. In other words no transfers in, no transfers out. This is what happened to Roma over irregularities with the Phillipe Mexes deal.
As for Torres i guarantee he wont be joining Arsenal

Dangling players out to get bids then retracting the players at the last minute to keep the competition from upgrading... Now explain to me again how Chelsea DOESN'T buy Championships? If you spend 100M every summer, that's exactly what you're doing. I respect Chelsea for their players. It's always great to watch such skilled footballers. Terry is one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to seeing Ballack and Lampard in the same midfield. But I have no respect for what their "business strategy" is doing to the Premiership. You may think I'm jealous, maybe, a little. I'd love to have Shevchenko on LFC but that's not the point. watch what LFC does with 1/3 the transfer budget, or Man U with 1/2 the budget, and I see better results for the money, so it's not like teams can't compete. It's just that the battle for the other teams is ALL uphill. Jose is always mad at how little respect he feels he gets, but come on Jose. If you can't win every year with those players, then you don't have a pulse. I could manage Chelsea. Heck even my blind uncle Stan could manage them to a title. As a matter of fact, a big part of the reason LFC gives them good games is because Jose makes stupid tactical decisions (like not playing wingers for Pete's sake!). So all you Chelsea fans, we don't hate you and we don't expect you to be down on your team. I don't even feel it's right for me to tell suggest in any way how Chelsea should spend their money. That's not my place to do. But supporters have to know, deep down inside that your team has a BIG leg up every year. And that's just a real shame. I don't expect this to be posted tho

Liverpool Word: Hamann has just recently signed a one year contract extension - he will not leave this summer. The earliest he would leave is Jan transfer window if he isn't getting enough matches. Finnan and Garcia will not leave (ridiculous). Gonzalez work permit likely to be approved. Rafa still after right midfielder and two forwards (one to replace Morientes and one to replace Cisse if he leaves). Cisse may still stay as Liverpool would want at least 10 million pounds for him I would imagine. He'd need a good world cup for anyone (esp French sides) to consider that much a wise investment. Also Le Tallec to leave, Diao to leave, Mellor to leave for small money plus usual clauses for youngsters for Mellor and Le Tallec. Other than that - everyone in first team stays, including Kewell and Sinama-Pongolle. Some reserve players may leave like Whitbread - this is insignificant to the big picture though.

Man U are not buying any south american midfielders. SAF needs a british midfield box to box player in the mould of Keane. Expect to see moves for Reo-Coker and Kevin Nolan. As these players aren't in the world cup he will be able to get them at their true values. Remember Djemba-Djemba, Veron and Kleberson, SAF won't make the same mistake again.

the availability of danny mills has attracted other clubs, but there is still a big chance he will join the blades. if he chooses 'boro or villa, united could look to andy griffin of portsmouth, or nicky hunt of bolton. kevin blackwell will oppose the move for matty kilgallon, but with parachute payments ending at leeds, ken bates will have the final say. chris armstrong will be the 1st choice left back, but if he turns out to be not quite good enough, gary naysmith may be snapped up for around £2m. phil jagielka is going nowhere, despite being linked with wigan and blackburn, he will do some one-on-one work mith assistant boss stuart macall to improve his positional sense so he can play the anchor role- allowing michael tonge more freedom.

Every1 knows that Ruud's leaving. In a recent interview he flat out refuse to answer questions on the subject. The only other player of consiquence (fortune obviously not included here) who has also been linked with a move away from O.T is ironically C.Ronaldo (barca/spain). He has sed that he will probs accept any offers made for him. Sad...... But so far no offers made. I personally cling to the shred of hope that he likes it in Manchester, and will feel he owes it to Fergie, who has now kicked out our top-scorer to keep him here. (with regards to the infamous bust-up between him nd 'Ronnie' in training).
Diarra, Vogel, Mascherano, Riquelme, Nolan, Makoun, Gattuso, De Rossi, etc etc...the list keeps on goin on. Personally I reckon that Fergie will eventually go for Mascherano + Riquelme. Cos this will give him an all ARG midfield. This is what he is rele after, the nxt Keane (who can command all his teamates, but most of that list cant do, cos THEY DONT SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE AS THE OTHERS!) You have to remember that!

Adriano in a swap for Ruud + cash? unlikely i'm afraid, but not impossible
And torres? would be good, but he doesnt really get the goal return that we need. (you have to remember that ruud get 25 goals per season, while rooney lags on 17. WE NEED GOALS!

Manchester United are the only logical team left interested in him. His agent, Martin Peton, has already hinted that Man United lead the chase for the player's signature. It is also said that Fernando Torres himself is excited at United's interest in him. He will join Man United along with Juan Roman Riquelme, Franck Ribery, Javier Mascherano, and Brazilan Sensation Kerlon Souza.
Arsenal will not sign Torres as he his too expensive for them and they have enough strikers as it is already.
Chelsea have just completed the signing of Andriy Shevchenko for £30.8Million pounds.
AC Milan will use the money to sign Ruud Van Nistelrooy in the region of £20Million Euros (around £14.7m pounds).
Real Madrid will complete the signing of Adriano in a cash plus exchange deal including Ronaldo.
Roma will looked to try and make an audacious bid for Raul.
Liverpool do not have the finances to match Europes top clubs. Also Rafa Benetez, is looking to bring in some British talent like the likes of Darren Bent and Jermaine Defoe.

I was speaking to a guy who works in a pub earlier and he tells me that someone tipped him off about Arsenal's intentions to sign Valencia striker David Villa. This is obviously a distant rumour but I thought this was an appropriate website to post the story. In case it does happen, Villa scored more than a double dozen goals in Spain last season and I for one would greatly welcome him to Arsenal!
I hear that Chelsea are on the lookout for a new left-back after growing tired of Asier Del Horno following a disappointing first season.
