Burton, Mansfield and Luton Town tracking Oxford midfielder Simon Heslop.

Simon heslop is signing for a league 1 club

Feel sorry for who ever he signs for conference player at best

Heslop was and always will be a conference player

Middlesbrough have been strongly linked with the following players

Danny s***tu - Millwall
Albert Adomah - Bristol City
Sylvain Ebanks-Blake - Wolves
Luke Moore - Swansea
François Zoko - Notts County
Marc Bartra - FC Barcelona
Marlon King - Birmingham

Marc bartra is prem standard & would never go to Middlesbrough

Moore could do well for you, great impact player for us but just doesn't get enough first team action unfortunately!

I'll give you my own money for you to take Zoko off us

04 May 2013 11:20:20
I'm putting Zoko in my car right now. I will be there in 3 hours, where shall I drop him?

Ebanks Blake out injured until October

You lot taking zoko would be a dream for notts high earner for us doesn't earn his wage

Danny sh**tu isn't going anywhere

Luke Moore would be a good signing, experienced does score but he is a tad lazy

Just. been confirmed up north that talks have took place with john taylor and rangers early yesterday afternoon

Two words for kenwyne jones second ones off

Major European transfers this summer: (including managers), I am a Manchester United fan btw

Jose Mourinho- Chelsea
Manuel Prelligini- Man City
Carlo Ancelotti- Real Madrid
Roberto Mancini- PSG (this one may surprise but PSG impressed with the way he spent money at City and helped them win the league)
Robert Lewandowski- Man United- £18m
Anderson- FC Porto- £7m
Mario Gotze- Bayern Munich- £32.5m
Edin Dzeko- Borussia Dortmund- £12m
Zlatan Ibrahimovic- Juventus- £15m
Yaya Toure- PSG- £25m (even though he signed a 4 year contract at City, doesn't mean he can't be sold)
Andre Schurrle- Bayer Leverkusen- £10m
Arjen Robben- Chelsea- £20m
Mario Gomez- Chelsea- £20m
David Villa- Arsenal- £10m
Lukas Podolski- Galatassaray- £12m
Fernandinho- Man City- £8m
Cristiano Ronaldo or Gareth Bale- Real Madrid/Tottenham- £65m
Angelo Ogbonna- Man United- £12m

Lewandowski 18m? Come on. Mancini spending wisely on Sinclair and rodwell?

Hasn't Schurrle already signed for Chelsea?

I don't get it except the Mancini and Yaya Toure to PSG rumours, all these rumours have been running through this website like a naked woman in the street, so why do so many people think it is unbealivable. I believe some and I didn't even post it

If Sam sodje signs a new contract with Pompey for the league 2 campaign then portsmouth will sign his brother akpo sodje following his release from Scunthorpe earlier this week

Be a good signing but feel you have just made this up for fun

Can't see Akpo siging if Agyemang does (and he will next week).

What Pompey need is a younger striker, Agyemang and Connolly will sign so what's the point in having 3 veteran strikers.

If Akinde (sp) was to be released then recruiting Akpo Sodje would be an excellent move.

04 May 2013 16:03:44
Might as well sign as Efe as well.

Akinde only on loan I think

Replacement players on Oxford Utd radar:

Luke Wilkinson Dag & Red RB/CB
Ben Herd Aldershot RB
Femi Ilesanmi Dag & Red LB
David Stephens Barnet CB
Neal Trotman Free Agent CB
Medy Elito Dag & Red RM
Luke Howell Dag & Red CM
Darren Carter Cheltenham CM
Luke Gambin Barnet LM
Mark Molesley-Free Agent AM
Marc Richards Chesterfield ST
Ian Henderson-Rochdale ST

You got no chance of signing Richards he is on contract and he's going nowhere

Marc Richards has 1 more year left on his contract? How much are you paying for him? Another bs rumour

Trotman takes longer to turn than the QE2

You won't sign Luke Gambin. He wants to stay at Barnet fc as he doesn't mind what level he plays at for barnet.

04 May 2013 16:45:55
TBH, I wouldn't really want any of them! There will be a lot of really good players available on frees this summer.
But we do need a RB, CB, LB, RW, 2xCM and a striker or 2!

Ian Henderson has been offered a contract at rochdale after impressing Keith hill

Darren Carter?

This makes perfect sense;

Ex Premiership player wants to move from a club fighting at the top of the league to a mid table club?

Absolute rubbish.

If Carter doesn't sign an extension at Cheltenham he will go to a club in League 1

You won't get gambin or stephens unless you have deep pockets

Darren Carter is passed it! Brilliant first half f the season but lost his way and hardly got a look in for the last 2-3 months! Oxford would be perfect for him and them, especially as they released one of, if not the most, influential player in Peter Leven

03 May 2013 21:34:35
Man United in talks with Cabaye from Newcastle

03 May 2013 21:30:39
This is not a rumour but a certainty.
shrewsbury towns rated winger john taylor will sign for rangers before june.
as I have been told by a very reliable source up there playing at firth park. by a ex member of salops playing staff.
taylor has already met with mcoist and both parties are keen to put pen to paper asap.
taylor has been offered a huge salary plus signing fee as they gwt him on a free. watch this space

Town are interested in signing former villa free agent moustapha salifou

Ummm No! Taylor is hardly going to get noticed playing in those Leagues. Taylor will only be moving to a League 1 or Championship club if any at all

They can't get him on a free. We've offered him a contract

No way is Taylor going to rangers he'd be unnoticed

Taylor on a free? Under 21 and put of contract requires a few since he was offered a new contract

04 May 2013 16:05:33
Would be surprised to see this move happen, however Rangers CAN sign Taylor on a free, new contract offer or not. The rule of players under 23 commanding a compensation payment/fee if offered a new contract only applies if the player moves to a club within the same national association, ie England. If Taylor signs for a club outside the English leagues then no compensation is due. So, Shrews fans had better hope he either signs a new deal or moves to an English side.

Strong talk north of the border linking taylor with a rangers move.
with mccoist stating he has had taylor watched and the reports were positive,
the added attraction being he will get him on a free.

NORWICH OUTS: Jackson, Surman, Fox, Barnett, Tierney, Camp, Ward, Chris Martin, Vaughan

INS: Van Wolfswinkel, Kamara, Garrido

Loan list: Smith, Francomb, Butterfield, Ayala, Adeyemi, Steer, Rudd.

NEEDED: Another LB, another LW, a top quality creative CM, another top quality striker.

Holt to leave depending on strikers bought in.

What about Elliott bennet

At least 1 post I agree with

04 May 2013 11:28:38
actually I think Smith, Francomb, Ayala, Adeyemi, Rudd and possibly Butterfield will all go. and we would do well if we got more then £2M for the lot. I hope I'm wrong about Ayala & Butterfield, both have potential.

More opinion than fact I guess but agree with what is being said

I would also add another top notch CD to that list

Kamara is not good enough we need another striker though.

I don't city will be buying anybody they will need all their players in the championship next season. and a new exciting manager.

Kamara has left and won't be coming back.

03 May 2013 20:58:57
As well as discussing a contract with Luke McCormick they are also looking at one of his former Oxford team mates also released in Tom Craddock, However with a decent track record in league 2 for Oxford and Luton I expect him to attract interest from other clubs too.

TomP

Is that the McCormick that killed two young brothers by his driving?
If it is, shame on any club wanting anything to do with him.

03 May 2013 20:50:56
Ipswich manager mick McCarthy set to sign matt heath as he has been released by Colchester and is within the budget and has premier league experience needed

No way will this happen, mick will go for better players than him!!

Heath has barely played a game for a side almost relegated to League Two! Not quite Championship material.

Silly talk, he is not good enough to play for town. fact.!

03 May 2013 20:50:49
Bournemouth have a shortlist of players they are interested in, however this is dependant on players leaving the club.

Charlie Austin
Lewis Dunk
Sam Baldock
Lewin Nyatanga
Roger Johnson
Chris McCann
Alan Judge
Zoumana Bakayogo

Players who can leave:
Donal McDermott
Matt Tubbs - Loan
Wes Thomas
Stephane Zubar
Johanthan Meades
Frank Demouge - Think we should keep

Can't understand why we haven't given Demouge a fair crack, he is and always has scored a lot of goals in the Dutch top flight.

Think we should keep zubar!

Keeping Meades for Daniels

05 May 2013 17:09:07
None would dream of playing at Bournemouth maybe holiday though

03 May 2013 20:39:43
Walsall have released Aaron Williams, Connor Taylor and Jake Jones, Richard Taundry and George Bowerman

Walsall are being linked with Akpo Sodje to replace Bowerman

Sodje has been released by Scunthorpe following there relegation from L1, Dean Smith attempted to sign Sodje for Walsall in January but he had already agreed to join league one rivals Scunthorpe where he has scored 6 in 16

03 May 2013 20:12:46
Mcginn and mambo agree deals with Shrewsbury town.

Two more in talks.

03 May 2013 19:55:59
Gus Poyet already said to be in talks with Esteban Granero, whom QPR have already said they'll have to let go now they've been relegated. Poyet will add him to the team if Brighton are able to win the play-offs and gain promotion to the Premier League.

Loic Remy said to also be in talks with Newcastle, whom already rejected the club once in January. He will be apart of Alan Pardew's French contingent.

03 May 2013 20:31:18
A deal taking yeovil striker paddy madden to middlesbrough is close to being struck it will involve an undisclosed fee and Yeovil completing the season long loans of matt Dolan and Ben Gibson

He would not go far when is wanted by clubs closer to his home

Well his home is in ireland and he moved from carlise so I don't think location is too much of an issue. also I don't think deals will be disscussed untill after the play offs

Would be a good signing but we could do with bringing through Gibson. Maybe Main instead because he needs a season out and he would score goals in League 1.

I think you may be getting your Yeovil players mixed up. I'm sure it was their keeper Marek Stech. Dolan is defo off to Yeovil with another player.

03 May 2013 20:16:57
Plymouth will confirm signings of Jake Hyde and Rene Howe in the next 7 days

04 May 2013 07:53:40
peter vincenti will travel to home park sometime this week to discus a deal with brent and sheridan over a free transfer from aldershot

Sorry this will never hapoen rene of to Portsmouth

I heard howe is in talks with carlisle to try and agree terms. this would make sense aswell because he just bought a house in that area

03 May 2013 20:01:03
Ex argyle keeper Luke McCormick will sign back for argyle in the coming days after his release from Oxford

A difficult one for Argyle, although I am of the view he has paid for his crime and probably, mentally, suffers for it on a daily basis, I don't think going back to Plymouth would be the right move for Luke, the publicity would be higher than a move to other clubs, which would not help him or the parents of the two boys who tragically died.

Uncle Bulgaria

I do feel that the move to Plymouth would be good for luke, when he went there with Oxford he got a brilliant ovation when his name was read out. The only team for him really as there letting whatever happened in the past stay there.

03 May 2013 19:58:34
Scott Sinclair to west ham on a seasons loan

No Everton

Swansea I believe! Will 're-ignite his hunger for the game. Along with an all out striker, they will be a force to be reckoned with. Scott will need to eat humble pie and probably reduce wages but the almost guarantee of first team football would be worth it. As the legendary Leighton James said ` a year out of the game in such a short career, is a long time`.

03 May 2013 19:40:50
York city are interested in the services of newly released Goalkeeper Andy Warrington from Rotherham United.

I hope were not because that means we won't get gilmartin then

03 May 2013 19:39:49
Norwich City representatives have been seen in Brugge talking to Colombian striker Carlos Bacca regarding a move to the club.

Awesome striker

03 May 2013 18:50:48
Guy Whittingham has said Portsmouth will only sign a maximum of four new player to go with all the players from the end of last season, he may bring up one or two more from the academy.

Happy days then. PUP

He's not said that at all. He has said that Pompey will operate with a squad of around 20-22 players supplemented with academy nippers. He has met with 6 or 7 players (including a Championship player besides Racon) regarding joining Pompey. All freebies.

They'll all find better clubs, he'll be lucky to find 4 players willing to move to Pompey, Jed Wallace will probably be leaving you lot in the summer too, rumoured to be on the target list for Bolton, Burnley, Bournemouth and Doncaster.

^^ Still happy days lol as long DC signs and Jed Wallace that be massive for next season, be good if Bradley Tarbuck gets Promoted to the first team, maybe to early yet looked good when I saw him though. PUP

Well that guy is wrong Rocha Ertl Racon Blair Eastwood Mouatoukail and connolly will stay at least

Not Racon - wants too much money

Well done on posting todays news I posted about racon coming back few days ago before it was released

AFC Bournemouth rumours-
In-
Charlie Austin- Burnley
Simon Ferry- Swindon
Danny Ings- Burnley
Lewis Dunk- Brighton
Neil Kilkenny- Bristol City

Out-
Daniels- Various Championship
Fogden- Pompey
Sheringham- Pompey
Flahaven- various league 1 and 2

Not a bad wishlist

Dunk won't go

Why are Bournemouth getting a lot of ex brightons

Charlie Austin wouldn't go to Bournemouth, frankly a step down. Dunk wouldn't leave Brighton Permanently as he has future potential which Poyet sees.

Charlie austin ha hal ha lol yes bourmouth keep dreaming

Austin AND Ings? Austin is wishful thinking but Ings as well? You lot been playing Football Manager too much

04 May 2013 00:15:33
Ever since Bournemouth got Eddie Howe back they have suddenly become delusional, Austin wouldn't take a step down when he could go to the premier league

04 May 2013 08:46:35
It's the outs that made me laugh. Why sell Daniel's to the opposition and weaken the side?

Why give Flahaven a new contract and immediately get rid of him?

Austin in? Can't see that one happening. Ings? Possibly.

We won't get Eddie Howe, Jason Tindall or Matt Ritchie either. Far too small a club so they keep telling us.

When the rumours were flying round about eddie and jason leaving to fo back to bournemouth not 1 burnley fan said he's not going to go but I can tell you this though. Charlie won't be going to bournemouth. Not even started the new season yet and already deluded bournemouth fans think that they will win the league.

Afcb linked with Miles Addison - "Keep dreaming. " - Signs for us.
Howe & Tindall linked back to Afcb - "Keep dreaming. " - They return.
Afcb linked with Matt Ritchie - "Keep dreaming. " - Signs for us.
Afcb linked with Charlie Austin - "Keep dreaming. " -.

My Brother is an architect an has done quite a bit of work with eddie mitchell and is good freinds with him, he" informs" me that eddie m has expressed an intrest in 2 former arsenal players that play in championship. not sure who they are any ideas.

We weren't good enough to get promoted from league one either according to everyone else. I think we will finish mid table (which I would take now) if I'm honest but I find it funny how other fans think games are won on attendances and past achievements. Games are won on the pitch by players that are good and to get good players they cost money. The truth is Bournemouth have money but a small ground/fan base. You work out how we went up?

Addison. who is he?

Howe and Tindall. local guys. homesick. back to their roots. as soon as it was mooted I thought it was possible. wernt pulling up trees at Burnley so no big deal.

Matt Ritchie. if he was that good surely he would have been signed by a higher division club. Swindon to Bournemouth is hardly a step down or up. Bigger wages i'd guess considering Swindons financial woes.

Charlie Austin. 26 goals in the division above where AFCB have just come from. signed for just over a million before he did that. Looking at 3/4 mill minimum simply because a few clubs will be interested. So unless you can offer mega wages and have that money for a transfer fee. i'd. keep dreaming!

^^^^^ looks like he's coming then

I have heard one of them is macfadzean

Isn't Henri Lansbury one of the ex Arsenal players, now of Nottingham Forest?

Found Out Henri Landsbury and cedric evina! in to afcb

03 May 2013 18:25:25
Ronnie Moore interested in Steven Schumacher after Bury's relegation and Schumacher's uncertainty over where he'll be next season. Ronnie sees a potentially good partnership between Wallace and Schumacher next season.

03 May 2013 18:10:10
John Sheridan has signed a 3 year deal at Argyle. Guy Branston has also put pen to paper and will stay at Home Park untill summer 2014.

03 May 2013 17:44:00
Leicester reportedly ready to replace Nigel Pearson with Martin O'Neill after tomorrow's game and will go through a transitional period of shifting on high earners and coming down to a more financially stable footing.

03 May 2013 21:27:38
Like Pearson has already done?

Nigel is staying 120% true, whatever happens today.

03 May 2013 18:08:48
Bristol City are hoping to sign Forest Green Rovers defender Jamie Turley. Turley is out of contract in the summer and would be available at a reasonable price.

I'm a fgr season ticket holder and city have been scouting here for a while, hope he doesn't leave but good luck to him if he does.

04 May 2013 10:07:32
spoke to scott Bartlett who seems to think this is a done deal at close of season.

If he is out of contract in summer why would he attract a price

03 May 2013 17:35:28
york city are interested in rene gilmartin

I hope they are because pafc do not need him especially if mcormick comes to pafc

03 May 2013 17:35:03
Arsenal are ready to spend the £70 million on :
Maxime Gonalons, Chris Samba, Stevan Jovetic, Julio Cesar and Mario Gomez.

Manchester United want Marco Reus and Falcao

Manchester City are after Edinson Cavani, Ikay Gundogan, David Villa and Alexsander Dragovic

Chelsea want Robert Lewandowski, Xabi Alonso, Angel Di Maria but this is dependant on Mourinho returning.

Liverpool want Jonathon De Guzman, Dris Mertens, Gary Hooper and Victor Wanyama.

Barcelona want Neymar and Mats Hummels

Why more Swansea players for my Liverpool

I would love to see these players at arsenal (apart from samba) but will it really happen? Don't think so.

03 May 2013 17:32:53
Mansfield Town have announced that they are in contract talks With Oxford Uniteds Adam Chapman, who has been on loan at the newly promoted club. A transfer fee will be involved if the talks are successful.

Very likely to happen. Chapman has fallen out with the club by all accounts and has had a decent loan spell at Mansfield. Good luck to him

04 May 2013 16:50:54
40% of any fee goes to Chappers' former club, Sheffield United tho!
So I'd prefer us, to let you have him on a free. but with a high percentage of a future sell on fee. Then Sheffield United wouldn't get any. As if we sold him to you, it would be for about 25k. Hardly worth it after giving Sheff Utd 10k

03 May 2013 17:24:46
Bury to sign Andy proctor, Damian mozika and Ashley grimes once the takeover is complete!

Does that mean knill's coming back?

03 May 2013 21:42:45
andy procter will be a great signing for bury but have they got money to buy him

03 May 2013 23:04:30
Not heard anything about knill

05 May 2013 09:38:59
What takeover-?- nothing but hot air coming out of gigglane at moment

03 May 2013 17:24:29
Rotherham again banging on the door of Calvin Zola for him to sign for the newly promoted League One side. Evans is desperate to bring the big Congolese striker in - especially after his incredible display against Bradford in the semi final play offs last night. Crawley Town are now showing interest in Burton striker Matt Paterson but Peterborough and Portsmouth are keeping tabs and Coventry City or now Wolves are favourite to tie up a deal for winger Jacques Maghoma. Burton will allow Adi Yussef, club Captain McGrath and defender Aaron Webster to leave the club. Burton Albion Manager Gary Rowett will not leave the club in the summer.

03 May 2013 19:04:38
You can forget about Coventry buying anyone or paying much in wages. They can't even pay the rent on the Ricoh stadium and have got to find another home venue for next season

coventry can pay it just not sustainable think about 1.3 million a year for league one club

Coventry in admin & have transfer ban.

03 May 2013 17:16:14
Manager changes
Chelsea- Jose Mourinho
Everton- Roberto Martinez
Wigan- Nigel Pearson
Stoke- Martin O'Neill
Real Madrid- Carlo Ancelotti
PSG- Manuel Pellegrini
Malaga- Michael Laudrup
Swansea- Luis Enrique
Schalke- David Moyes

Laudrup just signed a contract extension.

Please don't be Martin O'neill for Stoke! We're better off with Pulis. O'neill is crap.

Contracts mean nothing.

Shocking, you think laudrup is going anywhere after just signing a new deal and loving life is swansea

04 May 2013 10:21:37
I really doubt pulis is better than O'neil. Oneil worked wonders at Villa and Pulis is a dinosaur unwilling to change and learn from his mistakes

What mistakes? turning a poor championship side into a strong prem side in under 5 seasons, taking us to europe and first FA cup final sorting us out financially and never been relegated as a manager

Stoke's FA cup final was one of the easiest cup runs in history, and failing in the final (through cowardly play) got Stoke into Europe where we crashed out (through cowardly play).
Pulis may have never got a team relegated but he has also never produced regular entertaining football.

Is that the same failing in the final to a multimillion pound team against an injury prone team that cost less than 10mil. Is that the same cowardly play that saw stoke win one of the largest semi final margins ever. No cup run is easy there are no easy games in the fa cup look at wimbledon beatin liverpool look at burton holding a strong Manchester United side look at havant and waterlooville against liverpool look at bradford this year knocking out wigan arsenal and villa

And to add to that we had a difficult group stage but progressed comfortably and got knocked out by valencia who normally play in champions league

Avoided all the big teams to get to the semis. The only Prem teams Stoke played were Wolves and west Ham - both lower half teams. Played superbly well in the semi against Bolton, played awful negative football against City in the final - only 1 team looked like scoring (usual story) - cowardly.
Played well in Europe for most of the group games - BUT played a reserve side against Besiktas in the final group game which landed us a less favourable draw against Valencia. In the 2nd leg with everything still to play for Pulis fielded a 2nd rate side with not even a full bench of subs - cowardly.
Pulis has no respect for the fans; he plays boring unentertaining football and doesn't appreciate that fans (fans from an econimcally deprived area none the less) pay a LOT of money to watch Stoke at home and even more away to be served up with very little to cheer about.

There are no easy games in the cup but some games are harder than others. Who would you want to play; Burton or Man Utd?

03 May 2013 17:00:11
Southampton are set to announce the signing of Manchester United winger Nani on a 4 year contract. Nani has failed to establish himself at United and is said to be keen on highly ambitious Saints. He is set to move for a cut price £9million and will replace outgoing Gaston Ramirez who is set to seal a move to AC Milan.

Are you sure a 9 million price tag is enough for Nani? and I can't see Ramirez leaving after only one season.

I'd imagine Nani would be going abroad. Possibly Russia?

Funny how MP has stated he thinks Gaston will come good next season. Why would he say such a thing if he thought he would never make it in the PL?

Utter nonsense, Nani would never accept the level of wages Cortese would be willing to pay him.

Surely Nani would be on too high wages. Not worth it in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind Nani at saints, it would be brilliant! As for Nani coming in for outgoing Ramirez, I doubt that very much, for 1) they play in different positions so he wouldn't be a replacement for him. 2) what Poch has said about Ramirez makes me doubt it very much, as stated in the above post.
Ramirez will come good for saints, talent is permanent form is temporary.

Nani to Saints? No chance. He'd want a six figure salary and we are no mugs like QPR

03 May 2013 16:49:59
If Doncaster do appoint Paul Dickov as manager then Dean Furman will be heading to us and also could fetch recently released Coventry players Joe Murphy and Frank Moussa! Also we are to sign Billy Sharp, Fabien Robert, Oliver Norborn, Nick Powell (loan) and also Liam Fontane!

Derrrr Furman is a Donny player now as it was part of his loan deal and thanks for the money for him as well to say he was free in the summer.

He will jump ship for you sometime though in the future as he can;t handle pressure so when Donny are in a relegation fight he'll jump.

Nick Powell? Really?

Joe Murphey and frank haven't been released

03 May 2013 21:08:22
Frank Moussa has another 18 months on his contract and joe murphy had a further 12 months. So not realeased therefore this is made up rubbish

He was only on loan. There wasn't any agreement to definitely sign him permanently

Wow, you Oldham fans really are bitter aren't you? Just like when we signed Wellens. Furman has already paid back the pittance he cost us by helping to the Championship and winning the league!

Furman was Captain of our team and we were in a relegation fight, he went to SA came back and jumped ship. Poor pro and he's not a championship player either but he thinks he is. he will jump ship with you and thanks for the money anyway will go nicely with the other million that we made in the cup.

Wellens not bothered about as he had one good season where Furman had 4 at ours and still wasn;t good. Watch he doesn;t pass back either. Dickov comes to you he will be passing it sideways as well.

Not bitter just that so called pro did that to his team and teammates jumped ship rather than have the bottle for a real fight. Korey Smith was a much better player anyway and he was from Norwich.

Keep him and thanks for the money quite a substantial fee you have to pay as well. he was free in the summer as well but loan deal was done and we get money.

Blah blah blah same stuff from Oldham fans if you lots wernt so bitter you simply wouldn't keep banging on about it all

Don't think it would be a substantial fee. We (rovers) don't through money around like in case you didn't know that

Sory correction throw

Correction *sorry

Husband set to sign for premiership club Hull city

Good rumour on husband, wouldn't surprise me, but still don't see it, he is better than hull

03 May 2013 16:48:48
Derby County's 6 summer targets:

Chris Burke - Birmingham (free, or if Birmingam take option to extend his contract he will be exchanged for Frank Fielding)
Alex Baptiste - Blackpool (free)
Chris Martin - Norwich (free)
Craig Forsyth - Watford (small fee - expected to be between £100,000 - £200,000)
James Vaughan - Norwich (around £500,000)
Lee Grant - Burnley (free - set to sign as early as next week)

I have to say as much as I love lee grant, this could be true, we (burnley) have been linked with james randolph the motherwell keeper, and with grants contract up in the summer, he could be off.
He is a top keeper though. LEE GRANT. IN THE MIDDLE OF MY GOAL

There's no way on earth baptiste is leaving for derby he's staying with us.

Really? What evidence do you have to support him definitely staying with Blackpool?

Baps is 100% leaving Pool.

No offence to Derby fans but Pool have had the best out of him and it will be sad when he moves on. but he wants a nice pay day and a 3 year contract closer to home (Sutton in Ashfield).

And nobody can fault him. he can only play at 60% the effort he put into Pool. but he will still be a good player

With Morgan Schneiderlin heavily linked with stronger Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs, Soton is looking for other options for the heart of the midfield. The Saints have enquired for Marco Estrada (Montpellier), Etienne Capoue (Toulouse), Fabian Frei (Basel) and Edgar Barreto (Palermo), among others.

Saints maybe looking at these players to add competition but Schneiderlin is going nowhere

Manchester City will offer Stoke City £10 million Scott Sinclair for Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic in the Summer transfer window

I'd take that definately, but I fear Sinclair is a bit better than us

Not sure if Sinclair will have the work ethic for Stoke. I expect Pulis to stay

Begovic is worth £15 mill alone, barcelona want begovic too

I don't think the decision would be through work ethic, because Etherington isn't amazing for that and he's guaranteed a 1st team place when fit, I hope Etherington is sold at the end of the season, he's contributed enough for the club

To be honest, we've got strikers that can do the job better than Doyle. And I can think of better defensive signings than Rodger Johnson but in Mick I trust!

Accrington Stanley's Lee molyneux who scored 9 goals in his last 12 games has been talking to several clubs including Sheff Utd, Stevenage, Oxford, Chestefield and Fleetwood!

04 May 2013 16:55:19
After his awful tackle on the final day on Alfie Potter, I can't see Potter getting on with him!
He has a past that seems to be of the kind OUFC sign. Sent to prison, got a drink problem, and a bad attitude.
Not only the awful tackle on Potter, he squared up to his on team mate during the game!
We are desperate for a LB/LM. Especially one that can score goals. But is he is worth it!

He's already signed for fleetwood

Bournemouths, Charlie Daniels been attracting attention from several top championship clubs including Leeds, Bolton, Ipswich. Crystal Palace and relegated Reading.

They can be interested all they like but we've no need to sell such a kee player so the fee will be super high thanks :)

If he had chance he would join any of these clubs all if them are established championship sides as a Leeds fan I would not have him though Stephen Warnocks a lot better

Leeds and Reading will battle for the signing of former Chelsea youngster Jacob Mellis from Barnsley.

Reports that fee around 800k will secure his services, but Barnsley want 1.5 mil and Mellis doesn't want to play in league one next season.

Barnsley are not in league one

He will not be playing in div 1 next season, we are still in the championship, Flitcroft has done wonders for the club.

Looks like does not have seen as we are staying up

Shame he's a championship player!

Wow you stayed up do you really think mellis will stay at barnsley for much longer why would he fighting to avoid relegation every season

Wow he's still our player, get you're cash out!! Lol

Malaga are targeting Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup as their new manager, if Manuel Pellegrini leaves the club in the summer.

Michael Laudrup won't leave Swansea before after next season. FACT.

Why would he go to Malaga, the swans are a bigger club than them. {Ed034's Note - lol

And to malaga? don't make us laugh

This is my problem these days with fake Swansea fans! I myself am a Swans fan and have been for years since we were in league two! And I was there when Swansea played they're final game in the Vetch vs Wrexham in the welsh cup! But with our recent success comes a plague of fans who think Swansea have millions and millions of pounds, are far bigger than they are (In this case bigger than champions league quarter finalists) and that managers don't leave under contract! Truth is we're not that big (Yet) we are progressing and it's brilliant how much we are!

Laudrup has proved in the past that he doesn't really care about contracts by walking out of a job because of what happened to his assistant manager at the time who he brought here with him.

Malaga are currently sitting sweet in 5th in their league so struggle to see how we're a bigger club right now?!

But, Laudrup has already stated that he won't be swayed by Barca or Real for a minute as he's looking forward to next years European campaign; top that with the FULL support from the board he receives and I too feel there's very little chance he's off, not until the end of next season at least.

I have been a swans fan for 30 yrs no fake been there when dark days and good days

03 May 2013 13:55:31
Paris Saint Germain are set to hold talks with a potential new manager to replace the outgoing Carlo Ancelotti. The French club want to carry on being competitive in Europe and feel Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni is the right man for the job.

Arsenal and looking at Cardiff City youngsters Declan John and Ben Nugent. John attracted interest from Tottenham earlier in the season but looks likely to join the Gunners Young Revolution. Already captained wales at u17 Level, he has been tipped to become the next Gareth Bale

Sorry mate he's not going anywhere

Well your not having him

03 May 2013 14:28:18
Wolves to make a bid of 525k for Port Vale hero Tom Pope. Micky Adams will use the money to buy Mahoma from Burton Albion.

Pope has said he wants to spend the rest of his career at Vale and Maghoma is out of contract so wouldn't require a fee

03 May 2013 13:52:38
If Carlo Ancelotti leaves PSG in the summer to join Real Madrid, the French club who look set to be crowned champions want to bring in Dragan Stojkovic. The Serb is highly rated and has been linked with a number of high profile jobs in Europe after the superb job he's done with Nagoya Grampus in Japan. The 48 year old had played in France as a player with Masrseille.

Wenger or Benitez

03 May 2013 13:49:58
Coventry City are looking at former west brom midfielder Darren Carter and also looking at young Walsall midfielder Jamie Paterson. After a up and down season Coventry are looking to strengthen in the midfield department with big names such as mcsheffrey on the way out.

Coventry can't pay the rent so how they going to afford someone of Paterson's quality? Lol at this rumour

03 May 2013 17:18:46
Pato will stay at walsall although he is a boyhood cov fan

03 May 2013 14:13:24
Manchester City will sack Roberto Mancini in the summer, no matter how they do in the FA Cup final. The City board wanted Mancini to be more competitive in the league.
The favourite for the job is another Inter Milan boss in Andrea Stramaccioni.
If all fails in getting the 37 year old, Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is being lined up but they hope to get Italian Stramaccioni.

Doubt it. Laudrup is a very humble person who doesn't need the money, plus he's already stated that clubs that sack managers for finishing second or third doesn't sit right with him, which is exactly what will happen to Mancini if he does lose his job!

Pellegrini
Benitez
Moyes

03 May 2013 14:04:53
Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini is set to leave the Spanish club in the summer but not to join Manchester City or Chelsea.
The former Villarreal and River Plate boss is rumoured to be wanting a possible job at Fiorentina. Vincenzo Montella is set to be poached by a bigger club after a doing a fantastic job at the club and see Pellegrini as the right man for the job.
The 59 year old is also being linked with a job at Valencia. Manager Ernesto Valverde is rumoured to have had a rift with the board over a new contract and see the Pellegrini as the man and hope to persuade him with Campions League football.

03 May 2013 13:35:33
Wolverhampton Wanderers looking to Port Vales Tom Pope to lead the line next season in league 1. A price tag of 450k is unlikely to deter Wolves making a bid.

Spoke to him last week and he won't be going to wolves or anywhere else. Rumour closed!

Not a chance in the world recently signed a new three year contract and lives close to vale park.

Just to say fletcher also said to us he wasnt going anywhere but is now playing for sunderland

Fletcher had just been relegated with wolves, popey has just been promoted with the team he grew up supporting, he is living his dream.

03 May 2013 13:31:07
I can confirm Manchester United have triggered the €35m release clause of Dortmund's winger Marco Reus. Expect no action until after the Champions League final, but this deal looks like it could definitely happen.

03 May 2013 13:28:50
Swansea City, Everton and Southampton are all to bid £7m in a hope to sign Scott Sinclair from Man City.

Everton and Southampton can have him. He is only championship standard. Not good enogh for the Swasea way.

Why don't want him back as soon as his girl plays up he be off again

We're going to bid £7m for a player we sold for £6.2m and hasn't really played in almost a year? Plus, we have an add-on's clause with the sale which could potentially result in us getting £8m in total for Sinclair, so, how does that work?

One thing is certain, there won't be a single Jack happy with the thought of purchasing a player for more than we sold him for and who hasn't played in a while!

If he's currently worth £7m (around the same figure as for de Guzman!), Dyer and Routledge must must be worth AT LEAST £10m-£11m EACH.

I don't want him back tbh, purely because of his (ex-)misses pulling the strings in him leaving. If it wasn't for that, I'd be glad to see him back for LESS than we sold him for!

He was great for you lot last season, would prefer someone else at Southampton, better players are out there that we can probably get.

Why would Swansea bid £7 million for a player they sold a year ago for £5 million

I understand the swans fans point of view and I would also say saints can do better, Sinclair made the biggest mistake of his career leaving Swansea! Dyer and de Guzman are better player to be fair!
Up the saints!

I'm a swans fan, personally I would like to see Sinclair back here. People forget just how important he was in the promotion season with 20 odd goals, and yes he didn't play his best in the prem but he still scored over 10 goals.

Our current wingers have no fire power at all and are all too similar in the way they play, Sinclair is direct, a goal threat, and when he's got his head screwed on he's a dangerous player for any defence.

But I don't see his value could be more than what we sold him for because he hasn't played for City, think £5m would be reasonable.

If his life isn't being influenced by other parties (girlfriend) and he's focussed on the job in hand, I would accept him back with open arms.

Also - terminate the loan of Lamah, he's rubbish!

Not good enough for the swansea way, wow

03 May 2013 13:27:00
Shaun Williams and Dean Bowditch have taken on year extensions to their contracts at MK Dons. This means they will stay at the club until June 2014.

Best bit of news we could. hope. for this summer

This is good but we need Gleeson to stay. Sadly, I don't think he will. I think Winkelman will cash in on him to help with the payments for our rugby. err. football stadium.

White elephant :-|

What was actually said was the club have taken up the option on Williams and Bowditch. Doesn't mean they won't leave if the right offer comes in but does mean the club will get money for them.

Great re Williams and Bowditch but Gleeson would be even better news if he stays. However unless we find funds to recruit 1 or 2 strikers who can hit 15 plus goals and all stay fit we will not go up and start filling the stadium.

Its not actually the players that have agreed the club has done it as it was a clause in there cotracts just means if Williams does leave we will get more money for him.

Gleeson said he was going to stay anyway?

"This is good but we need Gleeson to stay. Sadly, I don't think he will. I think Winkelman will cash in on him to help with the payments for our rugby. err. football stadium.

White elephant :-|"

Tell you what. Why don't you disappear for twenty years and then come back and see where we are. You're obviously not enjoying having league football somewhat fortuitously land in your lap. How about you go back to your original club and leave it to those with a bit of ambition and a sunnier disposition on life?

"Tell you what. Why don't you disappear for twenty years and then come back and see where we are. "

My bet would probably be either the third or fourth tier of English football. In other words, still treading water.

How about you disappear and come back then and see who's right?

03 May 2013 13:24:59
Heard that phill neville is next manager as brian flynn has stood down, also lundstram back on loan, hume permanent and a move for paddy madden

03 May 2013 13:17:55
Doncaster confirm that Brian Flynn has moved to director of football and will help in the search for a new manager which mean the rumours of dickov being in for the job are probably wrong

Really don't want to see Paul dicov were not Oldham and are not looking to Finnish 16th in league1! Survival in the championship.

What do we think to Neil warnock or Owen coyle?

It has to be the right choice not the cheap choice

Neil Warnock would be a good choice, so would Kevin Keegan. Its needs to be someone with experience and some character. Dickov is rubbish, would hate to see us go for him, would show a real lack of ambition. A top name with contacts who can bring in some real quality. Rovers have momentum it might sound crazy but with the right manager and 4/5 top quality signings, next season is our best shot ever of achieving promotion from the Championship. It's time to take a gamble, put the extra money we have gained by getting into the championship into a manager and team that can make a real impact. I'm not asking for whole sale changes, we have seen so many times what can happen with that scenario (Leicester are a prime example) Just a hand full of real quality players to add to a already good squad with high moral. RTID

Would love it to be Coyle. Great manager with lots of experience

03 May 2013 13:14:18
Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova is set to step down at the end of the season due to health issues. It is thought the Spanish giants will approach Joaquin Caparros to be their new man. The 57 year old has managed Sevilla and Bilbao is La Liga but is currently without a club.

03 May 2013 13:11:42
Tranmere Rovers to sign Gareth Roberts, Steve Simonsen, Dale Jennings (loan), Ben Gibson (loan), Nik Beedles, Ryan Lowe and Iain Hume

Hume will go to donny. Simonsen can stay away and who is beedles?

03 May 2013 15:34:17
Simonsen can stay away? If Fonners leaves I couldn't think of many better available replacements. I don't care if he left us for Ev***on, I care about having good players at the club. Do agree though that Hulme will go to Donny. And. who IS Beedles?

03 May 2013 17:29:04
hume is a preston player if preston want to sell hume then its up to Donny if they can afford him as for tranmere wanting to sign hume you can't afford his wages or the asking fee preston will want. tranmere will lose there best players and will be in lower reaches of league one next season

Iain Hume still lives a stone throw away from Prenton Park. He wants to play for Tranmere again.

03 May 2013 21:46:20
hume may live near tranmere does not mean he is signing you not got any money for signings and with little crowds tranmere get that won't change

Heart over matter

03 May 2013 13:10:13
Leicester City will announce on Sunday that manager Nigel Pearson will leave the club. If City do somehow make the play offs, they want him to manage the club until they are over.
Former Foxes player Neil Lennons is being linked with the role. Lennon is currently boss at Scottish champions Celtic but the Northern Irishman is wanting more of a challenge to prove he can manage at the highest level.

In what way is the championship more challenging than the champions league

03 May 2013 13:07:47
Stoke City are to announce at the end of the season that Tony Pulis will be leaving as manager as chairman Peter Coates wants to start challenging for a top eight place.
Hull City manager Steve Bruce is rumoured to be the favourite for the job as he's done a fantastic job with The Championship side this season and has previous Premier League experience.

03 May 2013 15:37:38
Christ, one bad season and suddenly Pulis is deemed not good enough. Steve Bruce does indeed have Premier League experience, mostly overseeing bad seasons and relegations. Maybe Coates does want to kick on to the top 8, but Stoke are far more likely to achieve that with Pulis than old big nose Bruce!

Pulis will never and can never achieve a top 8. He's a 1 dimensional dinosaur. Don't think Bruce is the answer and he's certainly not the favourite. Bould (Arsenal no2) and Raffa seem to be odds on at the moment.

Anyone but Steve Bruce

Coates doesn't want top 8 total bullplop he doesn't put a lot of capital into the club compared to how much money he does have

03 May 2013 12:22:09
Ipswich Town scout Steve McCall has been regularly viewing suffolk side Whitton United in the past 3 months, it is believed he is there spectating how promising reserves striker Jack Kidby is developing - Whitton United could be subject to a bid from Ipswich Town in the summer transfer window.

03 May 2013 12:15:34
Ronnie Moore is looking at experienced Huddersfield striker Alan Lee.

Is he just window shopping then?

03 May 2013 12:50:14
Rene Howe has agreed a 2 year contract at Plymouth Argyle.

03 May 2013 19:14:34
Rene Howe isn't coming to Plymouth, he posted on twitter saying he wasn't interested and he said he has just bought a house in Newcastle. McCormick deal looks certain though after being released from Oxford a couple of days ago

Its probably true and he is a very good striker

03 May 2013 11:54:32
Gillingham hoping to sign Luton Town striker Andre Gray for around £150k

Hes worth more than that! Our manager won't let him go for that either

17 goals in the BSP. Not sure why we keep hearing this guys name, obviously not good enough.

Andre Gray signed a contract extension at luton over christmas. from a source inside the club he's a release fee of £250k however the club must be in the championship at least

How good is Gray? Is he another Simeon Jackson in the making?

03 May 2013 11:32:16
Martin O'Neil is favourite to replace Tony Pulis at Stoke this Summer. Rafa Benitez, Roberto Di-Matteo, Steve Bould and Gus Poyet are also strong candidates

03 May 2013 11:20:06
Players likely to leave Stoke in the summer months include
Upson - free agent
Owen - free agent
Nash - free agent
Whitehead - free agent
Shotton- free agent
Pennant - free agent
Delap - Free agent
Sidibe - free agent

Players to leave on loan
Ness
Cuvelier

Players to be sold
Walters - Celtic - £4 million
Jones - Cardiff - £5 million
Glenn Whelan - Celtic - £3 million
Wilson Palacios - £ 3 million - Fulham
Begovic - Man utd/Arsenal - £15 million

There was a rumour that fulham were in for begonia as well but stekelenberg is on our list as well.

Barca are also looking at Begovic

I doubt fulham could afford the £15 Million needed to compete for Begovic

Fulham can't afford 15million for Begovic

It was told that he wouldn't cost 15mill because he is running out contract at stoke and would probably only go for 5-6 mill that's why Fulham were in for him.

Owens not a free agent, he's retired. barcelona want begovic, stoke won't sell jones and walters until they have replacements,

shotton also expected to sign a new contract wih stoke

Walter's is worth 400 grand never mind 4 million hope he comes no where near Celtic park! not what we need a dud from EPL he's only Scored 20 goals in over 100 games! terrible

Walters is one of the best strikers in the league according to one of the liverpool defenders can't remember if it was skirtel or agger and he's worth 6 il atleast

03 May 2013 11:17:08
Southend are going back to their roots by making Matt Lockwood their assistant with Ray Parlour as a first team coach.

They are also keen on signing Mark Bentley, Mark Gower, Adam Barrett, Che Wilson and Darryl Flahavan.

03 May 2013 12:33:04
There is absolutely no chance whatsoever of getting our captain Barrett back. He's led Gills to the championship and will be leading us in L1, and Southend are skint anyway. Dream on.

Matt Lockwood and Ray Parlour have always supported Southend United, and every transfer window they would sit by the phone and wait for the call from their agent. sadly this hasn't come until a couple of day ago

Funny that the Gillingham fan thought this was serious. Awkward.

Love these rumours, Mark Bentley, Matt Lockwood and Romford Pele, yeah right what a clown you are!

03 May 2013 10:14:09
Jason Roberts is set to stay at Reading after Adkins revealing that he is very much in his plans. Roberts is to sign a one year contract extension

Walsall will sign Zavon Hines, James Beattie and Calvin Zola as replacement for Will Grigg, Febian Brandy and Craig Westcarr if they leave in the Summer. Dean Smith also has Marlon Pack and former Birmingham and West Brom midfielder Darren Carter on he's radar.

Zola on his way back to Tranmere

03 May 2013 17:21:00
Can't c any of the three coming to walsall but would love them to

Middlesbrough are looking to take Levante striker ngel Luis Rodrguez Daz on a season long loan. The striker has just finished a loan spell at his former club Elche.

03 May 2013 10:50:23
Boro have had a loan accepted for Marc Batra the Barcelona centre back for season 2013/2014

03 May 2013 10:49:12
Middlesbrough have had a transfer accepted by Bristol City for Albert Adomah. The deal includes 1.7 million plus Marvin Emnes

Don't be ridiculous, bristol don't need to accept anything quickly, they'd like a bidding war to enuse. boro don't have that money and value emnes at around 1-2mill

Where did we get 1.7 million from? This would be big news, emnes would never play league 1 football, when could just go back to a winning team in holland

He's out of contract this summer. so why would we offer 1.7mill which boro don't have, and emnes?

03 May 2013 10:32:27
Ron Martin is desparate for Southend United to get promoted next season, and has been dissapointed by results so far under new manager Phil Brown. He will back the manager in the transfer market, but will expect to see an immediate improvement. Martin is keeping one eye on Newport manager, and former Southend United player, Justin Edingburgh as a potential replacement.

He won't replace Brown, we'll keep him for at least two more seasons. Justin Edinburgh could come in as our new assistant manager as Graham Coughlan looks set to become reserve team manager on a permanent basis as the Reserve league is back next season.

03 May 2013 09:11:05
Dennis Oli looks set to join Southend United after he was released by Wycombe Wanderers. The Blues currently have 5 strikers - Barry Corr, Freddy Eastwood, Neil Harris, Seedy Njie & Gavin Tomlin.

Britt Assombalonga has returned to Watford and if The Hornets do not make Britt available for loan again, then Phil Brown will turn to Oli.

Dennis can play on the wing or upfront so would fit well into Brown's favoured 4-3-3 formation.

So replacing more than half of their outfield first XI then. Somehow I doubt it.

03 May 2013 09:22:32
Charlton Athletic linked with Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara. The former Arsenal trainee would favour a move back to London. Wolves are looking to offload a number of high paid players with O'Hara possibly commanding a fee as he's under a long term contract.

Unfortunately JOH has done precious little while at Wolves. Best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

03 May 2013 14:16:40
Micky Adams even money favourite as Wolves next permanent Manager

It should be evident by now that CA are very careful spenders. 9th with a total outlay of a lot less than a million last year. We won't be buying any expensive non-performers, but thanks.

03 May 2013 08:13:38
Stoke set for a summer squad overhaul, with Tony Pulis set to be staying at the Brit he has drawn up a shortlist for when the market re-opens.
Pilkington - Norwich City 4m
Bolasie - Crystal Palace 4m / Redmond - Birmingham 4m
Jedinak - Crystal Palace 2.5m
luis Cavanda - Lazio 1.5m / Pieters PSV 3m
Cornelius - Kopenhagn 5m
Fraanco Di Santo - Wigan free

Not happening, not Bolasie or Jedinak either. Hands off.

Pilkington won't leave there is no way

Hughton has rubished talks of Martin, Pilks, and Ruddy leaving.

You're looking at at least £7 million for pilks!

Whilst I agree that these moves won't happen you can't dismiss a rumour just because you don't want a player to move.

I will drive di santo down for you! good work rate and doesn't stop runnning, but he is 6ft 4 and he can't win a header and couldn't score if his life depended on it

Pilkington may well move. But not for 4m. The club wouldn't allow it!

Di santo cornellius bent redmond coul be definate if crouch and asmir go

Tony Pulis will quit as Stoke City manager in the summer & Stoke will turn to Leicester City's Nigel Pearson to replace him.
Whether Pearson is poached or not from Stoke, he will leave Leicester as the Foxes' Thai owners want to make Martin O'Neill the new manager.
Reliable source.

No he isn't. he will make backroom staff changes though

Gillingham will be signing Calvin Zola next season as he has been in top form this season. He has got two in 5 Mins against bradford in the play offs and he should be a championship player.
If they get him for 920k they will not get relegated from npower league 1

920k! look at the other players we can get for that sort of money

£920k? Never.

Zola on his way back to Tranmere

Spurs, Arsenal, Man. U, Chelsea and Sunderland are all interested in one player and that player is Schweinsteiger. Bayern Munech price him at around 12 Million Sunderland are least likely to get him and Spurs will be the most likely.
He has been seen walking in England in London near The Emirates and White Hart Lane.

12 million are you kidding me? The guy is one of germany's best players and plays for the biggest team in germany!

03 May 2013 16:26:43
Sunderland? yeah right! and why would he leave Bayern one of the best clubs in the world, to go to Spurs?

03 May 2013 07:35:41
A lot of people who went to the players awards have said that legzdins, fielding, ball, bailey, Roberts and Davies will all be leaving in the summer with Forsyth, lee grant, pratley and adomah all linked with the club

Portsmouth ins (likely rumours):
Charlie Sheringham
Matt Tubbs
Matty Blair
Solomon Taiwo
Alex Cisak
Unlikely rumours:
Marlon Pack
Svetoslav Todorov
Mikkel Andersen
Scott Allan
Akos Buzsaky
Luke Rodgers
Players leaving (likely):
Phil Smith
Players leaving (unlikely):
John Akinde
Sam Sodje
Ricardo Rocha
Jed Wallace
Dan Butler
Liam Walker
David Connolly

Dont think cisak will sign but for some strange reason think pack will come home

Sheringham or Tubbs not both (if Connolly re-signs).

I'm not sure on Cisak, Pack has blue blood running through his veins and knows what it means to play for the star and crescent, good player too

Pack won't sign, even though his contract is up, he is under 24 so would require compensation.

PompeyTJS

Why would we resign luke rodgers or buzasky when we let them go in january.

Paddy Madden to decide future at Yeovil after the play offs.

Brentford and Swindon are battling it out!

Madden still has two years of his contract to run. Neither Brentford or Swindon could afford him.

Madden’s release clause is Championship & 500k which is then split between Carlisle & Yeovil. So for this to happen either Brentford or Swindon must get promoted.

Oxford have received a £280,000 offer from Doncaster Rovers for star defender Jake Wright. The Defender has been a stand-out performer in League 2 this season, impressing the likes of Edgar Davids and Danny Wilson. Oxford have yet to reply to the bid.

I doubt that we have put a bid in, considering we don't yet have a manager decided for next season. He might not be the choice for the successor?

Goalkeepers next year are Gary Woods and JonathanMaxted there not looking for another keeper.

The chairman has made Wright his main target

03 May 2013 15:40:58
I'm sure the new manager would love his chairman signing players he may not want!
He'd rather spend that 280k on a player of his choice, surely?

Hearing the news on Brian Flynn, I for one don't want to see Paul dicov

03 May 2013 18:53:40
Rumours has it he is joining swindon for 35,000

03 May 2013 21:58:42
what rubbish worth 10 times that

Sullivans just been given another year which means woods will be number 2 and maxted will be in reserves

We have not offered anyone a contract yet

03 May 2013 00:46:50
Norwich City have submitted a £5m bid for Club Brugge striker Carlos Bacca after scouts have been thoroughly impressed by his performances over the season.
Expect to hear further information on this in the next few weeks.

Hearing that if millwall secure there place in the championship they will release shaun batt who will be out of contract and leyton orient will offer him a two year deal, as russel slade wants to pair him up front with the soon signing calvin andrews.

Nice wind-up, but the signing of Calvin Andrews may be true!

03 May 2013 11:53:07
KJ is offering him a 1 year contract and the end of the season

I understand that Millwall will be negotiating a new contract with Shaun Batt in the next 2 weeks.

KJ do you actually know what you are doing. Batt is not a championship player nor are the other strikers on our books. KJ OUT! This season has been poor, yes we had one great run but apart from that the standard of football has been terrible. I have found it hard paying to watch it this season. We need fresh ideas fast down the Den. Please don't talk about how KJ has done well on a small budget, he has ripped that budget apart with some very poor signings. Out with the old. COYL!

Millwall are talking to Calvin Andrews. They hope to beat Southend and Gillingham for his signature.

inside info.

I hope this isn't true Andrew has scored 12 goals from 102 appearances. Why can't we sign a decent striker?

Shaun Batt is not fully fit yet. He should be by the time pre-season starts. He has shown enough to earn another year. I think that Nguessan can go and Hulse can go to any other club. The jury is still out on Easter.

Its only 16 goals in 202 (all competitions) he is awful. The O's can do better.

03 May 2013 00:40:15
MK Dons to announce the signing of Jake Hyde next week. Free transfer.

Hardly spectacular :- (

03 May 2013 16:39:53
However, he is a promising player and we need at least 2/3 strikers this summer. Stephen Elliot another possibility.

Elliott is not the answer to our problems.

Elliot and Jake Hyde both not true.

03 May 2013 00:28:03
Heard news within a reliable source at the club that jabo ibehre will snub a contract at colchester utd to make a emotional return to leyton orient, on a two year deal, will sign as soon as early next week.

Jabo Ibehre? Please God no.
We need a goalscorer!

I would LOVE it if Jabo came back!

Reading FC have already started planning for life in the championship

INS
Bjorn Sigurdarson Wolves £2million
Graham Dorrans West Brom £3million
Matt Phillips Blackpool free
Jonathan Parr Crystal Palace £2million
Nick Powell loan Manchester United
Tandari Lee Southampton £1 million

OUTs
Jobi McAnuff Leeds
Ian Harte Leeds
Nick Shorey free
Mikele Leigertwood Leeds
Hal Robson-Kanu Cardiff £2.5million
Alex Pearce Liverpool free
Pavel Pogrebnyak loan Galatasraay
Noel Hunt free West Ham United

Got as far as Matt Phillips on a free and stopped reading for laughing to hard

No chance of selling Siggy.

Not sure you will have much choice. doubt if "Siggy" will fancy Div 1 football. two words comes to mind at Wolves. mass exodus. but you will be keeping Hunt. nobody will be taking him off your hands

Cardiff and Everton are also interested

Leeds don't have the money to buy all those players. Pav wants to stay in England and Wet Spam don't want Hunt.

Try again.

03 May 2013 08:30:27
Dorrans wants to be closer to Scotland not further away!

Would deffinitely be most happy with this business! All very likely signings but not very likely well get them all. Still probably BS anyway.

This actually seems quite believable accept I don't think Robson-kanu will leave

McAnuff won't go, Hunt isn't a premier league player. Others departures are a maybe.

Ins are all possible though I can't see Powell going to a championship side on loan. we need a left back more than midfielders

Dont want lee but rest are good

Siggy is not on high wages, unlike Doyle, Johnson, O'Hara and co. Also with the parachute payments Wolves do need a mass exodus, just the players in the squad who underperform and are never picked.

Blackpool have an option of a further year on Matty Phillips in which he agreed when signing for us in which we will activate. So he's in contract so try 4 or 5 mil and well see!

How many saints players do you guys want?

It is only because they have our old manager, reading will probably only get 1 or 2 saints players, hopefully Guly and Fox!

Siggy has said he will stay Hunt is out of contract

Why are people saying "leeds won't have the money to buy these players"? we have two very wealthy middle eastern investers. we won't be on the man city or QPR scale, but no one really knows what our budgt will be for next season, so can people just stop wildly speculating. we have money.

Dont see why adkins would be Playing Pav every game if we were just going to loan him out.

Not a chance Pog out on loan. SELL!

Pathetic, can these kids stop playing Football Manager and start actually noticing what's going on?! Matty Philips one year option that Blackpool will take up. They've 3 weeks or so to take this and will more than likely have offered a contract extension on top of that. Same with Ince.
