stoke set to offer mladen petric premier league lifeline after being released by fulham
Good player - will score goals in the prem if given a chance. Good acquisition for Stoke.
By the way, Stoke will be alright with Hughes, he is a decent manager who knows the game well and is ok tactically - unlike Jol. Hughes had an awful time at QPR for various reasons but still worth a prem team giving him one more chance.
He would of been a perfect signing for us if it were reality. I was hoping we would make a move for him but arnautovic it is. No clue as to why he wasn't utilized by fulham he is full of talent.
To the guy above, he and Berbatov were too similar to play together, it didn't work. He got chances, he didn't take them. I have no doubt he's got a season or two of top quality in him.

Becchio was at Rockcliffe last night, arriving along with Butterfield. Too bad Norwich couldn't get Vaz Te then Becchio would have signed on the dotted line. Loan next week.
Boro still looking into a loan or a Januray move for Jelle Vossen. Problems with payment installments and his injuried knee stopped it from happening. JM
Becchio was not there last night as he was in norwich, as I saw him having a meal with jonny howson

Watford to sign Nathaniel Chalobah on loan as he didn't move to a premiership team on loan during the summer transfer window.
Can not see this happing as I think chelsea will not let him come back to watford has he spent last season with us but you don't know g. z will look at other targets instead.
Why would him being with Watford last season have a negative impact over him being sent to Watford again?! Surely they saw he got played regularly, he fit in well with the team and that he developed a lot so that would make them more likely to allow him to go back there on loan.
He isn't going to play at all and now can't go to a prem team until jan, short loan possibly?

He made 38 appearances for Watford last season scoring 5 goals under the tutelage of a Chelsea Legend.
There is no reason why Chelsea wouldn't want him to come back here.
It's a bit like completing a level on a game. Some people will want to replay to improve their score and others will want to move onto the next level as per natural. Can personally see Chalobah making a return.
Except in this analogy the game has kicked him back to the previous level without giving him the choice of progressing.
Chalobah will return to watford!. and maybe stay on next season too

Quaglirella did HAVE time to sign. Plenty of time in fact, the whole of the months of July and August!
Lukaku wanted to come back to WBA and negotiations were ongoing, but Everton were prepared to offer a better loan deal, along with whispers that Chelsea were trying to push the Lukaku deal towards Everton than West Brom (god knows why). But it's academic. Everton have their man - even though their man wanted to go elsewhere.
We didn't express interest till late because unless you didn't notice but the only things we did were on the last day

Been bad blood between Chelsea and WBA over the Izzy Brown deal and although Lukaku expressed a preference to return to WBA, Chelsea accepted Evertons offer as they offered a loan fee rumoured to be around the £5m mark

He's barely played for us so you can't judge his goal scoring record. He's a strong striker who's capable of holding the ball up and is a good signing for you (everton fan)
This Long deal was all down to JP & Garlick. they are making a mockery of the club. They wanted to sell Long to balance the books. If hull can agree terms in a couple of hours why has it taken us since Christmas. JP and his small arms crew will kill wba. For all the good Dan Ashworth may have done and he signed some shockers as well, it will go down the pan. JP should put a realistic price on his shares and see!KUL

As the post above says, 8 goals last season, mainly as a sub. Give the man a chance, WBA would not pay £5m for someone unless they had faith in him. Come on, we need a change as no goals in 3 games. I think sessegnon will be the key though. Great signing!

money talks and everton offred top dollar around 5 million to loan lukaku which is a massive fee for just someone on loan although they see it as an investment if he fires them to a good finishing spot. top half of the prem is worth 40 million.
chelsea and wba are locked in a batrtle over chelsea pinching there starlet izzy brown and tryna snare him on the cheap. wba are taking them to tribunal so obviously chelsea wasnt ready to do wba any favours.

I'm not sure what happened last night qpr got three good players in and Wigan bid 6 million for a striker. I must of checked this website at least 50 times and the reading website too. NA said he wanted three more signings and all I can see is we are in talks with a player that most of the premier league teams would love to have. Don't get me wrong I am pleased with the team we have but we lost kebe and maps and it doesn't look like we have replaced them ok mabe Royston has come in but it won't take long for the rest of the leauge to figure out how to play him out of games! If their is no money and we are such a great run football team that's fine but please don't keep telling us about trying to get back in to the premier league sorry to bang on just a bit disappointed come on you royals.

Loan deals lined up for next week, no sense in completing them today and paying extra wages when there is no game for 2 weeks.
Becchio deal looked complete until vaz te deal to Norwich broke down. Deal may still go ahead but billy sharp is a potential target if the Becchio deal is called off.
Boro have become frustrated with Ayala delaying a decision in the hope of attracting a prem move. Wheater was mentioned but he was included as part of an offer made by Bolton for Rhys Williams. Other centre halfs are being considered if Ayala deal does not happen.
Still waiting for confirmation on this but the club have not given up on signing Jelle Vossen, Gibson is trying to push through a deal to sign him on loan for a high fee with a permanent deal in place for jan. really hope this is true, he's a first class player!
If more signings do go ahead expect to see emnes, hoyte and haroun to leave on loan to help balance the wages.
I heard that vossen on loan view to perment deal as well.
