Watford will be allowing as many as eight to leave on medium to long term loans as soon as the window re-opens.

Some of those expected to lead the way are Garner, Forsyth, Dickinson, Mingia, McGinn, Buaben, Hodson and Jenkins.

New boss Zola has stated that he does not want a working squad greater than 30 players.

Meanwhile Jonathan Hogg is delaying buying a property in the area until he is sure that he remains in the long term plans of GFZ

Maybe some of them will go on loan, but i think some of them will stay

The mirror has said that Burnley are looking for a lone move for Connor Wickham of Sunderland. This would help out Burnley as they are struggling for a win in there last the league games

Good signing for us if it happens

That would be a good signing for the clarets.

Shrewsbury Town are looking to bring in experienced QPR striker Rob Hulse when the loan window opens on Friday. Hulse is one of a number of players who QPR are looking to move on in order to reduce the size of their squad and wage bill.

Can you afford his wages then? He must be on at least 20k a week

Hulse would be a decent acquisition for Shrews, but would his wages be an issue? Rumours still abound that either Chris Wood or Saido Berhino (sp) could be coming in on loan from WBA. Turner has a good relationship with WBA after taking Sawyers & hurst last season

Qpr dont worry bout £££££ and on loan Shrewsbury have a little money

There is a rumour that josh king is coming {Ed003's Note - Not if recent reports in the press are true}

Hulse signing for brentford today

Preston have had a five figure bid turned down by Grimsby for Anthony Elding.

Isn't the transfer window closed at the moment?

The window is shut you cant bid {Ed001's Note - you can bid, just can't transfer registrations.}

How can grimsby turn down a 5 figure bid from preston as the window has closed and you can only loan players out

Graham Westley is very happy with his squad and PNEFC will NOT be buying/signing any more players.GW knows if there is an emergency he will be allowed to go into the loan market.100%true.

The only incoming to preston is chuks aneke on loan till end of the season

Apparently Grimsby turned down the bid on August 31st. Deadline Day

Preston offered them zilch - theyre manager said when the rumours was first going arround. quite chheky of north end

Any Middlesbrough news?

Dindar zuliatiz comin on a free

What's the deal with Harry Kewell?

Boro are not interested in Harry Kewell.

Frazer campbell has just turned up at rock cliff, my best friend works there and txt me the details. Bikey to sign a 1 year deal before the Ipswich game.

I doubt it. Frazier Campbell is in Hull today. He will be signed by Steve Bruce who he has previously played for on loan.

Bikey signs tomorrow, and just seen Frazier Campbell leave rockliffe looks like he will sign! According to staff who works there! (friend).utb!!

Looks like you have been misinformed or was it just wishful thinking?

Both deals will go through, prob on Friday, make use of the 90 days loan for Campbell. Why pay bikey for a week of training when he will work for free + will give mogga time to see how he fits in, has has many clubs and problems in the past, it's a risk that's worth taking. Big strong lad.
Watch this space, campbell and bikey in by Friday. A fan in the know!'

It has been made clear by Hull manager that Frazier Campbell is not available to loan. Read sky sports website. So again your 'in the know' basically means you know nothing mate

Hey I was right I told you bikey was signing

Who was the chap, telling me I'm not in the know. 1 down 1 to go like I said, Campbell in by Friday, Bruce has gone public on this because he knows he can't get him, as the Boro deal all agreed and Campbell is looking at helping Boro win the league.

That chap was me. Sorry but you are very wrong about Campbell coming to Boro.

As for Bikey, seeing how he was on a 2 week trial that was public knowledge. That was hardly mate.

Boro will not be signing anyone else. They have a good selection of forwards at the club and won't get another forward whilst we still have MacDonald.

mickael owen has signed a12 mounths contract with stoke city

In Plain English

Michael Owen has signed a 12 month contract with Stoke City.

Is this his retirement from football ?

Lol at the sarcasm in the first reply :)

Potentially great signing but look on the BBC comments form punters...very mixed bag. He doesnt need to be super fit as TP will use him as a last 20-30 minute man, remember Fuller? bad knee but he could always stir things up and get a goal in that last period. The jury hangs on the chemistry between him and Crouch, an old workmate. At least it now looks like stoke have some mid field refresh and wont be totally reliant on Delap throws and set pieces. Lets hope we get some more fluid football. Dont think anything will set KWJ fire alight though, more the pity. Owen might need to eat more oatcakes to get his strength up, maybe his next racehorse will be nicknamed "oatcake" who knows

Owen will take stoke to a top six finish

Top six?, dont be ridiculous, 8/9 at best

I think owen is a quality signing if his fitness is controlled which im sure it will b he cud fire stoke to a top 8 finish and possibly another great fa cup run

Ryan Hall to Blackpool ( loan and will be made permanent for 250k) Bilel's on trial at Ipswich, if he impresses he will also sign on loan with a view to a a permanent move. Southend will sign on loan Luke Rooney from Swindon as chances are limited for him and an unnamed mid ( i wasnt told his name, but rumour is weve been liked with schofield of millers and gregory of bournemouth) But everything there is solid fact and ive been told by reliable source.

Please get your fact right as this is incorrect.

Tell me how this is incorrect? and the midfielder was steve mcginn of watford.

It's all guess mate, tell the truth

We will see come the end of the loan window.

Coventry City are set to appoint Oxford boss Chris Wilder as their new manager on a two year deal. Wilder has already seen City train and wants to add up to four players to the squad so they can be competitive in three competitions.
Wilder has already spoken to 28 year old midfielder Simon Hackney. The former Carlisle and Colchester player is a free agent but is on trial at Wrexham. The Manchester born player is set to turn down the Welsh club to sign a one year deal at the Ricoh.
Ànother two midfielders are set to link up with Hackney after Wilder was told big earners will be leaving the club on loan in the near future.
One of the midfield targets are Dannie Bulman. The Crawley player has impressed a number of club and Coventry feel they can persuade the player to join if they let some current midfielders leave the club.
Another target is Sheffield United player Daniel Philliskirk. The 21 year old hasn't played a league game at Bramall Lane and is keen on moving on. A loan deal until January is likely for the former Oxford loanee, who can also play up front.
The final player set to sign on in the Midlands is Dean Morgan. The experienced striker, who has played for 11 clubs at only 28, left Chesterfield in the summer and is hopeful on signing a one year deal. The former Luton player could sign before the end of the week.

That's a great imagination you've got there laddy! Wilder hasn't left the club to look at anybody. And the chairman has said they have had no official or unofficial approaches from Coventry.

If you are correct, i will give you £1,000,000

You can have Philliskirk, he is naff.

Your a person who has probably never even played football philliskirk is naff I have watched Sheffield united reserves and under 21 he is there best player oh and by the way it was no other than Jose mourinho who payed Oldham £250,000 for him from Oldham to take him to chelsea now there's someone who is a bad judge of a footballer i isnt it I think not i hope he does get a chance somewhere and proves mindless persons like you totally wrong

Chelsea bought him loaned him out then sold him us. He isn't any kind of super star do don't get your hopes up. Average player drifts in and out of games to much seen him have a few good games in our reserves but seen him have more bad.

They didn't sell him to us, he was a free transfer as he wasn't worthy of a professional contact at Chelsea. He couldn't even score for Oxford United. Big player!

Somebody obvisiousy thought he was as he was given one at Chelsea instead of knocking him give him a chance you person because I assume your a pro footballer who seems to know everything are you

Haha Hackney? Morgan? Really? All ex-Colchester wouldn't have em back either!

Loan Philliskirk to someone like Scunthorpe for a season, then he might be orate for us next season.

04 Sep 2012 15:53:30
Palace are to take Matt Tubbs on loan from Bournemouth once the loan window opens, with a view to a permanent move in January.

Never mind tubbs leaving afcb, we need him to play his part at bournemouth as once again tonight afcb had at least thirteen chances and only scored two. Portsmouth also managed two so once again bournemouth get knocked out from cup games on penalties.

04 Sep 2012 15:01:52
Michael Owen to announce his arrival at everton on Wednesday tea time!

Although he has signed for Stoke?

He has signed a one year pay as you play deal with Stoke

His best days are well gone now anyway

04 Sep 2012 14:16:59
Just heard TP looking at Simon Boenisch again (sorry about spelling) - I think on a free we could do worse.

It's Sebastian not Simon

He has or is just about to sign for dortmund

04 Sep 2012 14:32:48
Townsend to Cardiff on loan.

Any truth in this

Don't need him

Would be a good loan signing

04 Sep 2012 14:15:54

04 Sep 2012 13:56:44
st ledger def. info be here monday up the town

Dont understand what people see in this guy? he looks just an average centre half to me.. and yes i have seen him play on several occasions.

04 Sep 2012 12:54:26
Swansea set to sign Free Agent Fabio Grosso as a replacement for the injured Neil Taylor.

This is a signing that saints should also be looking into seeing as we have a severe lack of quality and depth in this position!

04 Sep 2012 12:47:06
rumour is Keith Treacy is wanting a way back from Burnley

Hope thats not back to PNE

Great news, I'll give him a lift to wherever he wants to go.

04 Sep 2012 12:14:51
beckford to huddersfield on loan on friday and leicester to get adam le fondre on loan as beckfords replacement from reading.

Le fondre going nowhere

Not going to Happen.
1. ALF is easily worthy of playing in the Prem and is too good for the champ.
2. We wont be able to replace him
3. He is playing a large % of our games so why would he drop a league?

ALFie not going out on loan- Church is

Reading will not sell or loan le fondre has he is first choice when reading play 2 up front

Window doen't open till saturday

Beckford staying at leicester

Must be me. But I'm sure I saw Adam le fondres name in Reading fc 25 man squad

Ald going nowhere and beckford deal already comfirmed as off

Le Fondre, Adam: yep it's on there

04 Sep 2012 11:19:37
Free agent goalkeeper Craig Gordon could be on the move to Hearts in the next few days, although his wages would have to be significantly lower than they were at Sunderland

Why would he go to hearts, when he knocked back a three year deal at celtic, dream on.

04 Sep 2012 10:39:37
Anyone know what happening with McFadden, Danny Wilson of Liverpool and Craig Gordon?

Mcfadden to plymouth!!

Mcfadden interesting norwich apparently

Gordon could move to Hearts, he would have to take a pay cut though

Gordon to Wigan to warm the bench

Mc fadden was at leeds utd thorpe arch yesterday

Wilson to Bristol City on loan apparently

04 Sep 2012 10:20:14
Swindon Town will cancel Wes Foderingham's contract, and he will be allowed to move to a new club on a free.

Swindon have asked if they can take on Cardiff City's out of contract 'keeper Jordan Santiago.

Foderingham is staying after issuing a full apology. Di Canio has said they will continue to work about it and all is forgiven

Sorry but I think DiCanio is a bully. Would rather play for a non league team then have him as my manager

If Foderingham was released, he could not play again in England as a registered player until January so I doubt he would be released. However, he could be loaned out eventhough he has apologised.

Paulo sort your managment out! taking foderringham of just because he was playing poorly, this club should be run properly, this clubs not a joke!

They have both made up, oh and why would you ask a club for a player when they're out of contract?

You guys saying PDC sort your management out what are you on. He is in charge he won us the league last year. If the player that was substituted was an out field player no one would care. The players reaction was bang out of order( like a baby throwing his toys out of his pram).I was there he has now apologised.

Why dont you get off Di canio back,He's the best thing to happen at Swindon for a long time.Think back to the Wilson and Paul Hart days and to the players on good money who were always out on the town getting drunk. If you did not do your jobs right would you get away with it. Di Canio is only thinking of the fans who pay to see a team give 100%

04 Sep 2012 10:17:38
huddersfield lining up a 2 million bid for nahki wells

For a player with a value of less than 100k on him this appears to be fantasy.

No point making a bid till january. unless its for a loan deal and that would be far too much for a bottom division player on loan

you really think we're gonna sign a kid who has only scored 12 goals in the 4th division of English football for £2 million. I very much doubt that we are even looking at him, and even if we were, Sadford would be lucky to get £150,000 for him.

Rubbish post considering window has just shut

04 Sep 2012 10:17:33
Craig Morgan set to join Shrewsbury on a free transfer after being released by Preston

Already going to Millers

I thought Rotherham had signed him.

He has signed for rotherham yesterday do keep up. And dont lie

Definitely need someone hope it happens

04 Sep 2012 09:54:41
Swindon Assistant Fabrizio Piccareta, Barnet boss Mark Robson and scouts from Liverpool, Villa, Bristol City and Brighton all seen at the Charlton v Colchester U21 game yesterday.

Any ideas who there looking at?

Cousins, Poyet, Azeez.

Sullivan for Swindon, any of the CAFC forwards for Barnet. No ideas on the other clubs, most likely just routine scouting of every game just in case.

Cousins? he's first team not u21

Poyet's son playing for Charlton.

Cousins? he's first team not u21
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well taking into account he's 19 and hasn't made a first team appearance yet, I think we can safely say Cousins is in the under 21 squad.

Cousins plays in the U21 games though, he was actually injured in the fixture though.

Cousins did play but was stretchered off i was there.

04 Sep 2012 09:52:42
james mcfadden interesting norwich free agent

Got to be worth a go better than martin

Do for me gotta be better than heskey

Too similar a player to Hoolahan. Would bring nothing new to the club in my opinion

There are only so many words in my vocabulary to describe how truly awful this rumour is!

"Not in a billion years"

Everton had him and released him, enough said, way past his best.

13 goals in 82 appearances for Birmingham 0 from 7 at Everton. Quite prolific at Motherwell back in 2002 but that's it. All of our strikers have better numbers. Can't see it happening. This guy has a better chance in the Championship or Div 1 or back in Scotland. He's a Scottish international and he has a good attitude so someone will take him on but not in the Prem. Had an Anterior Cruciate ligament injury in 2010 which kept him out for 2010-11. Such a serious injury late in his career isn't ideal. Wolves allegedly wanted him last season but he couldn't agree terms. He might need to lower his sights a little if he wants to play.

Doncaster News. The loan deal of Coppinger to Forest should be extended to the end of the season, but a permanent deal is very much dependent on success or failure of both clubs. The money this has freed up for Donny is to be used on three players. Ian Hume (already signed), very highly rated Man Utd youth keeper Sam Johnstone (I know Weaver has been odds on to sign for Donny, but this deal has now died due to fitness issues). And a third player, in the Coppinger mold, but NOT Robert! All these deals will be done before Donny's next game at Colchester

We don't want another young keeper! Want someone with experience older and better then woods not younger

Nothing likley for drfc with ryan at the elm, what do you make ao this ed? its official drfc with the least squad members in whole of football league, come on ryan pub teams have more plyers

Whats happened to the six youth players that were signed at the beginning of the season?

Out on loan

Out on loan and hardly featuring by all accounts. the lack of a reserve team has effected their progress immensley not a good set up for the club to progress sending young lads out to teams struggling and who dont really want them for a month or so on lone

It gave the support some hope that the club was going in the right direction by signing these lads on but rather strange that the good reports on these lads or how much potential theyve got is not being followed up by any amount of game time or even squad time or are they simply not good enough thus questioning actually signing them in the first place if youre not good enough at 18 or 19 then will you ever be?

Sounds like the youth would be better off going to teams where they have a reserves side so they get that natural progression ,not to be signed and then like ya say go to teams on loan that dont want them and not playing any football where is the development in that. Same as first year youth they sit on the bench or a season waste o a years development, youth set up needs to be improved to get the talanted players a hope in hell of gettinfg some first team football if good enough.

Ken bates to buy portsmouth in next two weeks .once leeds takeover sorted out.

Frying Pan to Fire comes to mind god help us

Be afraid. Be very afraid

Will Bates be after Harry Redknapp so he can drag them down more...of forgot no money to spend so be no good him going

I don't like Bates much but he seems to be leaving Leeds in much better shap than when he took over.

I am a LEEDS fan, it is the same rumour going round our camp too that Bates is looking at PFC if our club sells on thursday as proposed.
Good luck & i mean that if that parasite gets a grip of your club, it WILL rebuild itself eventually it took us 7.5 yrs but were almost done with him now

"I don't like Bates much but he seems to be leaving Leeds in much better shap than when he took over."

You obviously know nothing about Leeds either....

Have to agree with the post that Leeds are in better shape than when Bates arrived. Every chance that Leeds will be fighting it out for promotion to the Premiership this season. A hell of a lot better than a few seasons back when Bates arrived.

After redknapp eventough he went to bournemouth today in a advisory role

All bates has done is lied and fleeced leeds of any money that is made. No player investment or interest in stremghening the squad. His only interest is HIS offshore bank bslamce.bate out

Well, he signed a hell of a lot of our(Pompey) better players for Leeds!

Asian group makes 12.5 million bid for pompey , have already deposited money in holding account for administrators to view funds

Looking like Al Fahim could be involved in the new bid and if so is likely the Supporters Trust would be invited to join the bid.

I'm a leeds fan desperate for bates to go,but i like the pompey fans they are like us passionate, and i tell you bates is poison .

Robbie Fowler to be unveiled as the new Bury Manager in the next 48 hours

Don't think so, he would get more for a night on sky than he would as our manager

We shall see!

We would go bank rupt if that happend

Hope you are right but i doubt it very much

Not a chance in hell. We are stuck with Shirtliff.

Still no news on it, lies lies lies

Owen to sign 2 year deal with Stoke, Rodgers doesn't want him at Liverpool.

Owen to Norwich to feed off holt

Yes , spotted him in town this morning

He wants to stay local. Norwich isn't really that close to North Wales, so that one isn't true

He has joined stoke on 1 year contract source satelite channel

Owen has signed a yr contract at stoke awaiting confirmation from premier league board. Great signing will bring goals off the pitch and confidence off it.

Already signed on a 1 year deal

He didnt want to go to liverpool, chose stoke to help them push for european football, instead of mid table pool

03 Sep 2012 22:43:56
