Why would Livrpool pay between 12m to 18m (as posts have rumoured) for Gareth barry when he is out of contract in the summer? Sounds like the scousers are missing Parry already !!
  Barcelona summer targets:
Strikers–
Emmanuel Adebayor (£30m)
Karim Benzema (£30m)
David Villa (£60–70m)
Sergio Aguero (£50m)
Midfielders–
Cesc Fabregas (£60m)
Xabi Alonso (£18m)
David Silva (£25m)
I would expect two of these strikers, most likely Benzema and Villa to be signed, along with either Xabi Alonso or David Silva to be signed. Adebayor is happy at Arsenal and Fabregas is committed to honouring his contract at Arsenal.
Outs:
Samuel Eto'o (£20m) – Inter
Thierry Henry (£15m) – ??? (hopefully Arsenal!)
Yaya Toure (£17m) – Juventus

In Arsene We Trust
Arsenal will not b selling anyone this summer, unless an astronomical bid is made 4 1 of their players who Wenger believes a better replacement can be found, Bentdner will NOT b sold and neither will Eboue.

Wenger is tracking Panithinaikos star Ninis (as are Bayern and PSG), but with plenty of strikers avalible, it is unlikely

the 2 CB favourites are Mamadou Sahko who is a natural leader and has a great left foot and is reasonably tall at 6'1' for a 18 year old

Raul Albiol, 23 has been at Valencia since he was 11 and has made his national team debut can play CB or CDM has a buyout clause of 60 million however with his contract due to expire in 2011 and with Arsenal,Liverpool and Real Madrid interested Valencia may b forced to accept a 13–15 million bid especially considering their financial predicament

Marchena is also a possibility, but he is club captain of Valencia

Souleymane Bamba of Hibernian has been recomended 2 Wenger by his Ivory Coast teamate Toure Bamba can play holding mid, fullback or CB.

Finally, the other rumour flying around is Felipe Melo of Fiorentina is seen by the next Gilberto Silva by Wenger and could b willing to pay the expected 15–16 million fee the club would demand. However Juventus are also keeping tabs.
I have it on good authority that Barry Ferguson will retire in the summer as his ankle injury won't clear up and he is currently playing through the pain barrier to try and help Rangers win the SPL.

A bit of good news for Gers fans is that Walter Smith has negotiated with Blackburn to bring back the legend Tugay on a 5 year contract.
Samuel Eto'o to Liverpool in the Summer.
Reliable Source believe me

Chris_e_chris. . .Top man, someone speaking sense. Spot on about Platini mate, I cannot understand why fans of other English league clubs cannot see through this '6–5' nonsense for what it really is – Michel Platini once again trying to undermine English football coz he doesn't like the way the Premiership teams are ruling the roost in Europe (although this wasn't a problem when it was Italian or Spanish clubs).
And the most sickening part of all of this is – TAKE A LOOK AT THE FRENCH LEAGUE! I started a season in the French Ligue 1 last week on Fifa, and I am not exaggerating, 75% of the players in that league are African. So why isn't that a problem for Mr Platini? Maybe that's why his National team have been struggling of late, or why the 'big' French teams struggle to even scrape by the group stages in Europe. . .oh no, I forgot, there is no problem, coz Platini is French.
By the way, I'm a Welshman so could not care less about the English national team – bottom line, if you are English and good enough, you WILL play for your club. Name one stellar English player who doesn't get much playing time for his club or is being kept on the bench by an inferior foreign player. . apart from maybe Joe Cole, I can't think of one.
If you guys want to see average players turn out week in week out for your club for no reason other than 'they are local lads', be my guest and lap up this nonsense from Platini.

Good Times Ahead for LFC

To the guy with the mate in the French press that knows about the 6+5 blah blah. I just had to comment on your ignorance about how Arsenal will struggle to field homegrown players. do you know that once this rule comes into place Arsenal will be a lot more equiped to field 6 homegrowns than a lot of the other Prem teams. a homegrown player has to have trained with the side for at least 3 years before he is eligable to represent the English national side regardless of which country they come from. players like Merida and Nordtveit who are coming through will be classed as homegrown players. then there are the English talent coming through such as Gibbs, Wilshere, Randall, Simpson, Bartley. those are just the players coming through. we already have players in the 1st team that are still young and are eligable to represent the English team such as Fabregas, Djourou, Denilson, Van Persie, Clichy and obviously Walcott. these are all players that are considered homegrown. so to think that arsenal will be hit by this new ruling is laughable.

Liverpool are planning just one major signing this summer and it isn't Aguero. A deal is being finalised for Klose of Bayern Munich. He wants to try his chances outside of Germany and Liverpool is his destination of choice. The fee will cost around £19 million. Benayoun has impressed enough to be Gerrards backup and Johnson will join from middlesborough to fill the right wing slot. Any more signings will be youth team players or replacements for anyone who leaves.
Lets get real of some of these rumours

1) Liverpool won't be spending over 87 Million on Barry, johnson, ribery etc(obvious this guy plays fantasy football manager)

They will bring one striker in and a few spanish kids IF rafe stays.

2) Same with the Barcelona story they are prob the best team in europe and one guy is stating they are gonna spend over 100 million why would they do that expect a couple of stars like henry and hleb to leave

3)Arsenal will prob bring in 1 CB 1 DMF and maybe a striker or 2 if bendtner and adebayor leave
also expect eboue to leave

Henry (Would be good but won't happen)
Hleb (Wont be back due to how he left the club he will go to bayen munich or man city.

look out for a possible return of M Flamini as he is not playing as much as he did at arsenal (fingers crossed)

Man city will buy anyone they can hopefully they will take bendtner and gallas even adebayor

Van persie will stay he just wants an improved contract if he did leave expect a 20million price tag not 7 as quoted on this page

I don't know arsene's dog or cat or his mother I look at facts and make my comments

"LFC Rumours
Ins
Beevers– Sheffield Wednesday (3.5 mil)
Aguero– Athletico Madrid (20 mil)
Llorente– Athletic Bilboa (10 mil)
Xavi– Barcelona (15 mil)
Iniesta– Barcelona (11 mil)

Outs
N'gog– sheffield wednesday (season long loan)
Lucas 10 mil– Man u
Babel 12 mil– Ajax

These I must state are RUMOURS and are not official, However these potential signings could happen."

I understand that you said they are RUMOURS but the price tags you have inserted are ridiculus. Perhaps Babel is worth 12 mil but then surely Iniesta, Barcelonas best player this season, is worth at least 3 times as much. Also Xavi and Iniesta would never move and Aguero will move to someone better. Now for some REAL Liverpool rumours.

Ins
Bastian Schweinsteiger – Bayern – 12 mil
Aiden McGeady – Celtic – 9 mil
John Fleck – Rangers – 7 mil
Diego Forlan – Athletico Madrid – 14 mil
Victor Valdes – Barcelona – P/E
Marik Hamsik – Napoli – 32 mil
Enziquiel Lavezzi – Napoli – 14 mil

Outs
Andrea Dossena – Palermo – 5 mil
Fernando Torres – Barcelona – 32 mil
Jose Reina – Barcelona – P/E
Ryan Babel – Roma – 8 mil
Xabi Alonso – Manchester City – 10 mil
Steven Gerrard – Manchester City – 40 mil

I have got to say that the future of Liverpool doesn't look like it will be getting any better but not alot worse. Selling of club icon Gerrard won't be accepted by Liverpool fans until he signs but it is definite. Torres is definitly going as he has stated he wants to play for Barcelona and they will pay 40 mil for him if they don't get Villa for 60 as Villa is ALOT better than Torres.

TRUTH
The Boss
Barnsley manager Simon Davey has agreed to step down from his post. He is in negoiations with owner Patrick Cryne regarding his compensation package. With the Tykes not having a game this weekend and a terrible run of results which has seen them heading towards the Championship drop zone, it was felt the time was right to act.

Set to replace him until the end of the season is Red's legend Neil Redfearn, who will leave his Post with the Leeds academy tomorrow (Thursday). Darren Moore will take up a post of Player/Assistant Manager as part of the new setup.

This will all be announced at a press conference planned for 2pm on Friday
The rule is for British players. I guess Platini wants English football to improve British football tho won't let us create a British team for 2012.

Dosnt make sence to me
Liverpool will Raul Albiol from Valencia for 15m and have been tracking him for three months
Everytime i come on this site i read nothing but the unrealistic rumours ever. I just read that barcelona is buying every player, man city is also buying all of those players, and ever second rumour is a dumb liverpool rumour which will never happen. To be realistic now liverpool only need three quality players that would make the difference in the long run. Signing someone to work off of torres, a winger because right now we they don't look to good, and one rightback. Some players that would be good for these positions would be

Defence

Sergio Ramos
Lahm

Midfielders

Sweinsteiger
Barry

Forwards

Augero
Podolski – could also play a mid winger
Owen
Crouch – wouldn't mind a big guy laying it off to torres everytime.
  West Ham Rumours

Dont expect West Ham to be buying big this summer. The board and management belive the future is in buying young talent from Europe and building the club. The board belive that in Zola & Clarke they have the best in the business to nurture this talent. Nani has a list of 6 – 8 prospects he feels are ready for the Premiership and expects to get at least 3.
The following are leaving the club

LBM
Lee Bowyer
Kerion Dyer

The club will also be bought in the summer and the new owner has allready discussed with Zola,Clarke and Nani the direction the club should take. Zola feels he has the chance to build something big and has 100% backing from the New Owners.

Hammer In The Know
Tony Mowbray will be sacked this week as the West Brom board have had enough of his regular claims that it is more important to play the right way and lose than to win matches and stay in the premier league. the baggies directors have invested a lot of money and are looking to sell the club so relegation would be unthinkable. Some names ive heard mentioned to replace Mowbray include; Roy Keane, Alan Curbishley, Owen Coyle, Joe Royal and Steve Cotterill.

stop praising Rafa. I love him but hes lost the plot.

From

The madness of king Rafa
As to the 6+5 rumours going on, I just have this to say: Although it would still be possible to 'hire' players and for them to receive wages, to disallow them to be part of a matchday squad would be considered a restriction of trade. Restrictions of trade, as many of you guys with slightly longer memories will attest, is what stopped Fergie going through with his threat to let Ronaldo ". .rot in the reserves. ." when the Real tapping up saga was going on. To restrict a player's trade – ie diminish their skills by leaving them on the bench / in the reserves etc – is illegal under European Lmployment Law, especially when it is based on nationality or race. This is just another case of Messers Platini and Blatter bumping their gums to generate some headlines and attempt to scare clubs into changing their recruitment policies. The cynic in me would suggest that it may even be motivated by a desire to help their own national leagues which are falling behind the pace in the European scheme of things. .?
  To who posted this;

{To the ex–Player that stated Stevie Gerrard is the most loyal club player. What a short selective memory you have.

Just to remind you – It was not so long ago that your beloved Stevie G denounced your club and stated his desire to play for Chelsea. It wasn't Liverpool FC that changed his mind was it ???}

Gerrard never wanted to leave but Parry was engineering a move and delaying on a contract for him, so yes, he is loyal.
Its funny how because chelsea have had a bit of a lean period for them the rumours are rife first zola was on his way, then mourinho was coming back now its clarke and cole,i suspect this is more hope than anything else. If chelsea go on to win the fa cup and champions league i suspect hiddink will be made an offer he can't refuse and mourinho and clarke and zola will be just what this site is a distant RUMOUR!!!!!
Hi everybody,i write on here quite alot , i have alot of contacts in the football world , mostly with Manchester City but i do have contacts in Italy,Spain & France.Today i only want to write about the Premier League.

AC Milan will get rid of Seedorf, Dida, Inzaghi, Shevchenko, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Flamini and Ronaldinho in the summer. They will create a new look by bringing in Hamsik (Napoli), Beckham (LA Galaxy), Senderos (Arsenal), Pazzini (Fiorentina), Cassano (Sampdoria), Elano (Man City), Gomes (Tottenham)and Agger (Liverpool). The team would be:
Gomes
Jankulovski/Zambrotta/Senderos/Agger
Beckham/Pirlo/Hamsik
Kaka/Pato
Pazzini

Subs
Nesta
Abbiati
Cassano
Elano
Gorcuff
(Plus youth team promotions)
Kenny Dalglish is the most likely to take over as Liverpool CEO but David Dein and Brian Barwick are also in the picture.

If Dalglish joins then expect alot of changes in the backroom staff. Frank McPharland, Ian Rush and John Barnes will all be a part of the backroom staff, not sure of who will do what.

Also there will be another investor joining the club by buying Gillett's half of the club. I can't tell who that is . there are two or three investors in the picture.

We can expect some changes on the squad. Ryan Babel, Andrea Dossena, Philipp Degen, Lucas and Voronin will all leave the club and maybe some others, depends of who will sign.

Rafa will try to lure English players who have the heart or some skilfull players from foreign countries to bolster up his squad for next season.

Expect players like Barry, G.Johnson, Downing, Peter Crouch, Michael Owen, Theo Walcott, Michael Turner, Ashley Young, Raul Albiol, Diogo, Keirrison, Ribery, Cazorla and maybe a high profilic striker like Aguerro, Eto'o or Villa. Of course not all of those players will sign but those are few of the players Liverpool's scouts have been looking out recently.

Although things don't look quite bright at Anfield these days but we can expect things to change for the better in the next weeks and months.
