Nobody to Arsenal until next Summer

Walter Smith has an extensive 'wish list' of players he would like to sign. However he is wary of bringing in players and unsettling a settled team. Any signings in January will be dependent on players leaving. Leaving could be Hemdani, Hutton (if a big enough offer comes in), Boyd (same) and Buffel. Players he is looking at to potentially replace these guys are Nolan (Bolton), McFadden (Everton), Lita (Reading), Butt (N'Castle), Moore (A Villa), Fletcher (Man u) and Milner (N'Castle).

Darren Fletcher, sick off little first team play, to Wigan, initially on a loan but with an eye to sign in the Summer if they stay up.

I have heard from a source close to Preston that David Nugent will be returning to the club in January on loan until the rest of the season. he is going to be joined by Robert Earnshaw from Derby as both players are not playing for their respective clubs. Earnshaw will cost £3 million

Pompey dark horses in transfer activity. Expect Shaun Wright–Phillips, Diarra, Jo Cole and Defoe in January to replace 4 first teamers going to ANC. Taylor to Tottenham unfortunately as when Redknapp does not fancy someone he will NEVER swallow his pride and play them however obvious it is they should be in the team.

  Reading FC

Steve Coppell could quit Reading in the Summer, he feels that he has brought the club as far as he can and is getting bored at the club and says ''he needs a break''. Reading will try and speak to Alan Pardew again to try to lure him back from Charlton although he walked out on the club severeal years ago to become the Hammers manager, Reading will also want Phil Parkinson to come with Pardew as his assistant, as well as bring back Fitness Coach, Niall Clark. Failing this, the club will speak to Paul Ince of MK Dons, or possibly Big Sam if he still has not got a job in the Summer.

Celtic and Rangers are battling it out for the signature of out of favour Sunderland forward antony stokes. the hoops look certain to beat there Glasgow rivals Rangers to buy him.

Celtic will also make an audatios bid for Newcastle forward micheal Owen in January.

Jamie fatneck, springwell

The is a rumour from a coach at Aston Villa whom I know through family members. Aston Villa are planning a double swoop for Man United's Phil Bradsley and Darren Fletcher in January. The players have been made aware of the situation and they are said to be very interested in the move. Nothings happened yet but this move seems to be a decent possibility.

New Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is lining up January bids for Everton forward James McFadden (£2 million), Spartak Moscow's Croatian goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa (£2.5 million), AZ's defensive midfielder Stijn Schaars (£3 million) and Bordeaux's unsettled attacking midfielder Juan Pablo Francia (end of season loan).

McLeish will also allow Mehdi Nafti, Damien Johnson, Neil Danns, Olivier Tebily, Richard Kingson and Mat Sadler to leave the club – hoping to generate a sum in the region of £4 million for the new transfers.

More rumours from Italian Serie A.

INTER look set to beat off late competition from ROMA for the signature of ARSENAL World Cup winner Gilberto silva. £8 million EUROS is quoted.

ARSENAL will not need a replacement as an abundance of centre midfielders are currently at the club. M. Flamini has kept Silva out of the starting 11 this season and now this enables the underated Alex song to challenge for the definitely mid and centre back positions.

AC. MILAN are looking to sign a forward, Robinho is being eyed from REAL MADRID but so to is Klaas Jan Huntelaar of AJAX. MILAN have history of signing Dutch players (Gullit, Rijkaard, v Basten, Seedorf, Stam etc. ) and the young Dutchman would be a serious consideration. Even as soon as January with AJAX not in the Champions League this season.

Younis Mahmood will join Newcastle if Big Sam stays. if not iit is possible that Mark Hughes, Alan Shearer or Quique Flores will get the job

It is possible glenn Hoddle will return as Swindon manager although it is more likely Martin Allen or Paul Simpson will be appointed though.

Andrei Arshavan will sign for Everton after being impressed with the club set up during his teams recent defeat at Goodison park Everton will pay Zenit up £8 million for the playmakers services

David Moyes has recently had Goodison Park Scouts watching Nigel de Jong (Hamburg SV), as a long–term replacement for Consistent Performer and Unsung Hero, Lee Carsley.

The 23–year–old Dutch International played with current Everton Loanee Steven Pienaar at Ajax Amsterdam, and would relish the chance to link up with his Close Friend and former Team Mate again. Pienaar is also ready to commit his future to the Merseryside club in the Summer Transfer Window with a pre–arranged fee of about £2 million.

This also means that Nigel de Jong will most likely not join until the Summer, making sure that Pienaar will be there to help him learn English and settle into life on Merseyside.

Because Hamburg paid less than £1 million for de Jong (due to his contract having six months remaining when at Ajax), the Defensive Midfielder, who can also play at Right–back could be available for a price in the region of £4 million and David Moyes' Scouts have informed him this would be a quality investment, and if Moyes can convince Steven Pienaar in the near future to commit to signing for the club in the Summer then Nigel de Jong could be training at Finch Farm sooner rather than later.

The Current list of names also being touted for arrival at Goodison this January are Ben Tozer (Swindon Town), Dan Gosling (Plymouth Argyle), Chris Gunter (Cardiff City) and Eddie Johnson (Kansas City Wizards), with the first 3 all being Young Defenders (all with some degree of Versatility) available for fees just above the £1 million mark, allowing Moyes to bring more than one of them to the Merseyside club. Eddie Johnson is believed to have been lined up on a short–term loan deal as cover for Victor Anichebe/Yakubu Aiyegbeni who travel to the African Nations Cup in just over a month.

Expect a Midfield loan signing this January aswell, as Moyes has all been quoted saying it is his priority to gain Midfield cover.

James McFadden (£4 million), Andy Van der Meyde (less than £1 million) and Anderson Silva the Franca (£1 million) are the only 3 that will be allowed to leave the club in the transfer window, and only if Moyes can guarantee a replacement for them. Tony Hibbert and Leon Osman are ready to sign new long–term deals with the club in the next few weeks.
