LFC NEWS It is true that Marouane Chamakh was offered a £25M package over 5 years. Liverpool wanted to sign both Jovanovic and Chamakh (who was about sign) but the latter got cold feet when news of Liverpool signing Jovanovic broke. Chamakh feared that he would get less playing time if Liverpool signed Jovanovic. That is why Liverpool made Jovanovic's agent say that no deal has been done yet. This is not true. Jovanovic was signed about 2 weeks ago and will play mainly on the left of midfield. Chamakh has now said he wants to go to Arsenal so Liverpool deal is off.

BOLTON will not be selling Cahill for anything less than £20Million (after the world cup if he makes it may even rise) so rumours of ManUtd, Arsenal etc buying him for 10 Million are all rubbish..
Real Madrid & Inter Milan are interested in him and have scouts watching him

Arsenal will sign Marouane Chamakh on a free transfer in the summer. Arsenal want this striker but they didn't want to pay the money that was asked for him which is why they are waiting until the summer to sign him on a free transfer when his contract has run out.
Chelsea as we have recently been informed, have had their transfer ban lifted. Plans are to off load the older players and bring in some young talent in the summer. Anelka may be involved in a cash + player deal for either Alexander Pato or Sergio Aguero. Chelsea and United will also do battle over the signing of Frank Ribery. The Sun yesterday quoted Frank Ribery as saying that he would love to see a bid for himself from either Chelsea/United. Both teams have shown alot of interest in him.
Liverpool are looking for another striker to partner Torres up front. This is a change to the team that should've have happened last season if not the season before. Names being linked are Goran Pandev and Luca Toni. Pandev could be available on a free transfer in the summer whereas Toni could cost around £15m. Spurs are also interested in Toni which could put LFC off of trying for him.
United are looking at a Goalkeeper. Rene Adler & Manuel Neuer seem to be continuely linked with the club as both Keepers want to be winning trophies. Chris Smalling has been signed but won't join until the league has finished. He will be replacing Nemanja Vidic who will be leaving in the summer. Real Madrid, Barcelona & AC Milan are all interested in him. Real Madrid and Barcelona are rumoured to have £20m lined up for Vidic but SAF wants more for him. AC Milan are rumoured to have a £25m + Jan Klass Huntelaar lined up according to yesterdays Sun. United are also looking for a successor of both Paul Scholes & Ryan Giggs for the long term future. David Silva or Angel Di Maria are the targets for SAF in the summer. If he can't get one then he'll get the other. Nani will not be leaving as him and Rooney have recently been working well together, this has impressed SAF and he is willing to keep Nani despite all the slagging off Nani has done to the club in recent months. Players being linked with United to replace Paul Scholes are Yoann Gourcuff & Luka Mordic. Anderson will be leaving so the money SAF gets for Anderson will go towards one of these players. Spurs are keen to keep Modric but Gourcuff wants a Premier League move.
David Silva/David Villa are rumoured to be arriving at Old Trafford for a fee of £55m for the two.
This summers transfer window is going to be a busy one for United as hinted by David Gill according to my source givemefootball.com
He has told Radio 5 Live during an interview that United are planning to spend £55m + in the summer.

There is a lot of exaggeration on who will be in and who will be out at Arsenal. It's bollocks to think that Arsene would spend big money on David Villa for instance.
Here is likely though not certain based on what the journalists in the know plus Wenger's comments in interviews suggest.
IN:
GK Weidenfeller/Hart/Neuer
DF Savic/Subotic/Azpilicueta
MF Hazard/Chantome
F Dzeko/Chamakh/Lukaku/Balotelli/Zidan/Remy
From this list expect one keeper, one defender plus a defender not on the list (desperate help is needed at CB unless Nordtveit comes back and returns to the CB position), possibly a mid but maybe none at all, and just one of the strikers.
OUT:
GK: One of Mannone or Fabianski, but only if they can bring in one of the above GKs.
DF: Campbell/Silvestre/Gallas/Senderos/Eboue/Traore/Clichy (two or three of these)
MF: Maybe only Fabregas (to Barca), which would change EVERYTHING
F: Possibly nobody, MAYBE Eduardo or Vela if somebody really good comes in
At LB, Clichy or Traore leaves. Traore may be a bust, Botelho and Gibbs will be back, and Clichy may want to move on.

Dear Editor, regarding the rumour from "anon", I too had heard this story from a very good source about the young female..n its from a very good friends daughter who goes to that school in Terry's area of Surrey n is constantly at the school. Im sure ST is so gonna hit the fan n good job too!! Im sure these Chelsea scum bags think they are so above everyone else, but now they will be knocked off there pedestal. from anon.no2

I grew up next to aiden mcgeady we played together in the school team and are still freindly. He phoned me tae see if a wanted to go out to the dancin wae him and big darren odea ( this was before keane signed ) he told me he wanted to go to b/ham but pl told him about keane. then tonight he sayed he is going to sign a pree contract with spurs which will see keane stay at celtic but will take a wadge cut to 45 kw also two young players to join as part of the deal with celtic playin 3 million they are john bostock and somebody baxter highly rated and to go towards tm building for the future expect this to come out in the next fortnight .

I have this on good authority from someone who has nformation regarding chelsea, the big news coming from chelsea is that wayne bridges ex girlfriend will allegedly name j.cole as the 5th player she was with, and that john terry will allegedly be implicated as having a relationhip with the goalie hilario's wife for som time although it has now finished.
I no a few people who are working with the sun and this is almost correct however the 5th player she named was ASHLEY COLE not j.cole!!!! if you don't believe me wait see!! also been told john terry had to borrow £1m from the ownwer to pay off gambling debts and also o's wembley £100k for a unpaid fa cup box for his mate!! this will be printed in the sun over next fex weeks so make of it wot you will.
