Right fellow Norwich fans, personally I think Hooper would be a great signing. I saw someone post that Hooper has denied it on twitter, however he hasn't. I checked and apart from photos he hasn't tweeted anything since Christmas day. It's looking increasingly likely. OTBC

Hopper will be a great addition for any epl club and would help England squad out and just bang them in. From what I hear from yo Norwich fans is you can't afford him, he has to go for minimum 9mill for if it was any other league it would be 15mill plus. Port Vale star Ryan Burge did not feature yesterday, and while assistant manager Mark Grew said he was being rested as he was tired, Burge has played his last game for the club as talks are progressing between numerous championship and premier league outfits. a deal will certainly be done.

Stoke want Saint-Etienne LB Faouzi Ghoulam for around £2.5m
Pulis is looking to buy Mauro Zarate off Lazio for £7m-ish
Stoke also want to take the deal for Tom Ince off Liverpool. Stoke are willing to bid up to £10m for the young Centre Attacking midfielder.
Lee Chung Yong is also wanted.
Martin Olsson was also an interest to Stoke. Not that they need another defender..
Possible Outs:
Michael Owen could be on his way to Perth Glory in Australia if the bid is the right price.

Another transfer target is Anthony Wordworth from Colchester, not quite up to Boyds standard but younger and bags of potential. Other championship clubs sniffing round.
Also if we got Russel we would most likely try for Mackay-Steven which would improve us a lot. Personally I think we need to focus on a Goalkeeper as smithies has given us no hope lately.

Loose faith in Adkins? You mean after he engineered one of the all time greatest turn arounds to take us from last with 4 points from our first 10 games up to 17th on 18 points with 14 points from the following 10 fixtures.
Adkins has done great things with the team and I'm sure will make the right signings this month to improve us further. The bench isn't too bad only real desperate need to change the centre back spot as Hooiveld is just not good enough.

Norwich wages around 15k is not true. Some are obviousley but holt is around 20k and bassong is 25-30k. There is plenty left in the budget as the club earns a lot of money. Plenty of money to spend and a good wage system. Available to stretch to around 30k plus now. Also some players will leave. Taking around 30k a week off the wage bill.

Doncaster Rovers can confirm that they received an official approach from Wolves this morning to speak to Dean Saunders regarding their vacant position. The Rovers board will not stand in the way of Dean but will try to keep him at Rovers. Dean has been given permission to speak to Wolves and he is meeting them today. The board have a strategy for a situation such as this and have a ‘Plan B’ in place. We will keep everyone updated as we find out more.

You could list players who moved to big clubs who are loaned out or play for the under 21 team. Zaha is a great player and let's wish him luck wherever he goes. I'd hold onto Gazza but yes the rest could be offloaded or loaned either now or in the summer.

Any player leaving saints will be those who will struggle to get a regular place in the first team squad....NOT to cut the wage bill. Gazzaniga wont be going anywhere except maybe on loan, but Adkins has already said that he doesnt anticipate signing another keeper as we already have 3, so i doubt he will even go out on loan.
After watching saints second string yesterday if adkins does not buy some new players we will be relegated the squad has no strength in depth new center back some more pace and a goalkeeper who will play the rest of the season
I'd welcome Downing to st marys, he's a decent player, for some reason players struggle at Liverpool. Look at crouch for example.
