Benitez is seriously considering off-loading Jose Reina, so Scott Carson is going nowhere.
He has an imminent decision to make between Alves and Miccah Richards- as both are wanted men (Alves by the big three in Spain and Italy and Richards by Chelsea.) Expect him to opt for Richards and conclude a deal soon, as there would be no adapting required and he can play both at right-back and centre-back.
Further forward, a right winger will definitely come in, with Pennant departing, surprising to West Ham. I'm told SWP is no1 target to replace him, but Chelsea would be extremely reluctant to sell him to their rivals (as they have been with Duff, Parker, Bridge and Gallas. ) Possible other targets range, varying on budget from Quaresma at the top end to Guily at the bottom.
Expect the major changes to occur up top. With Voronon already lined up to replacce Fowler, and all the signs indicating Benitez will remain grounded, feelers have already been placed on Kolse and as a result his dream swoop for David Villa has not been considered, although Villa favours a move to Liverpool above all other options. Either arrival will see Crouch leave, with a clutch of Prem teams chasing (notibly Spurs)
Finally, with Bellamy a cert to leave for Villa no matter what his form in the closing weeks of the season, Defoe will be his most likely replacement (with Benitez keeping an eye on Robinho's situation in Spain. )
Thus Liverpool's activity this summer will not be as extravagant as predicted, but should give them a footing to conduct as serious title push!

Liverpool are set to swoop for a big name transfer striker. Rafa is trying to unsettle S. eto'o as he is going to play against us in the 2nd legg and also create a smoke screen for when he signs David villa. this could see the populr R. Fowler "god, " shown the exit door. bentiz is also lookin for a long term replacment for S. Finnan, Sevillas right back D. Alves looks to be his number 1 transfer target although he might opt for english M. Richards. bentiz will not spend all of his suposed 100m in the summer transfer window although a huge chunk of that would be spent on young talent from around the world esspecialy south america. expect to see pennant fall down the peking order when Rafa is also looking to sign a right winger. sorry no names. United will not sign Torres. Instead they ll go for Darren Bent. Villa won't be signed. he ll go to Chelsea. Alex is lookin for a striker who has proved his potential in the premiership bcoz it takes a year r two for other players to adjust ex: drogba, Sheva.
Also expect the signings of Nani, Hargreaves and Bale to happen as soon as the window opens again.
I don't understand why everyone is convinced that Arsenal will be buying 10 different players in the summer. I'm a die hard Gooner, but I'm also a realist. It would be great to sign Samuel Eto'o, but ask yourself why Arsenal would need him. Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor are all at the Emirates now, Nicklas Bendtner is returning to north London after his season long loan at Birmingham expires in July and we'll almost certainly have either Julio Baptista or Jose Antonio Reyes too. Let's also not forget Jeremie Aliadiere, who is slowly but surely winning round the Arsenal fans. I hear, and desperately hope, that Robinho will be at the Emirates next season and it may not be too unlikely either. Robinho's arrival would satisfy the criteria of having an extra striking option, as well as an extra outlet on the wing, and he would save millions of pounds. His agent has said that Real Madrid would accept an offer in the region of £12m, which would be outstanding business, he would be very versatile and it would mean Arsene Wenger doesn't need to spend an extra £15m on Franck Ribery of Marseille. Should Robinho move, then Ribery could replace him at the Bernabeu and the merry-go-round would be complete. Arsenal would get exceptional business, Real Madrid would sign a world class winger and Marseille would get a large cash sum for a player destined to leave the Stade Velodrom anyway.

Man Utd WILL sign Kaka in the summer for 37million beating Real Madrid in the process. As this will be such as high sum of money they will not sign Torres or Hargreaves instead they will sign de Rossi and nani/ quaresma. This is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT TRUE as Ronaldinho will sign for AC Milan.

To the guy who mentioned Hiddink going to Chelsea. As much as Abramovic loves him, guus PROBABLY won't go to Chelsea as he wants to manage an international team as well (as I have stated before) and although Chelsea have promised to let him do it, he feels they will pressure him to reconsider. That my friend is Fact - I spoke to him last Friday. Also, If he does go (big IF), he want neeskins to be his assistant, and I don't think Barcelona want that to happen.
What won't happen: Henry&Fabregas won't leave Arsenal, Man Utd won't clear out (why would they wehn they've just about won the premiership) maybe 1 or 2 changes. Ronaldinho won't be going anywhere and neither will eto. Only people who don't play fantasy league know this!

Spurs will finish 5th/ 6th in the league this year and will hopefully win the Uefa cup. This will mean this summer they will have some money to spend as well as the money from the sales of: Mido 4mil, Defoe 10mil, Ghaly 1mil, Ziegler 1mil, Gardener 3mil and Murphy 1mil. This will give them around 30mil to spend and they will go for: C. Davies 6mil, Quaresma 12mil, Ashton, 8mil and Bellamy 6mil, as well as some Youngsters like taarabt who is on loan and impressed in the victory over WHU.
Since the arrival of Milan Mandaric, there have been inquiries by Leicestre City into the signing of Linvoy Primus, of Portsmouh.
Primus has been displaced as Portsmouth's number 1 defender since the arrival of Sol Campbell, and is expected to join Leicester in the summer.

I can guarantee that Rafa will not be touching Robinho with a barge pole. He is not a Rafa type player, plus, he can't hack the physical nature of La Liga, never mind the EPL! He's all show and no end product. He'll be moving on to a club in Spain. Real Zaragoza are believed to be interested. LFC look set to battle it out with R. Madrid for the signing of Sorin from Hamburg. Madrid are also in the market for Heinze from Man Utd, but are likely to utilise him as a centre back (as he plays for Argentina), and not as a left back. Madrid are off loading Salgado at the end of season (wrongly in my opinion!), and LFC could pick him up as a quality right back along with Finnan and Arbeloa. If LFC sign D. Alves, it will be as a right winger. Sangol of B. Munich could be another option for Rafa at right back. Rafa will not be spending silly money on the likes of Micah Richards. He also won't be even considering Anton Ferdinand! Just cos a player is English, doesn't mean he's good! Infact, it probably means he's well over priced! If Hyypia turns down the offer of limited football, like Hamann before him, he will be released on a free as a 'thankyou' for his services. Woodgate will then be bought. Failing that, Gonzolo Rodriguez of Villarreal will be bought. There is a very good chance that Vincente may be brought in for the left wing, though I've also heard that Rafa will give Kewell another season. Jurado from R. Madrid (on loan at At. Madrid) is another option being discussed for left wing. A member of the successful Spainish youth team with Fabregas. De La Red could also come from R. Madrid's reserves, and play on the right, though Rafa still thinks he can get I. Gonzalez to come from Tenerife. Benni McCarthy could be a surprise signing to alongside Kuyt, Voronin and one other, likely to be Trezeguet. Rafa is keen to sign Boijnov, and may be prepared to buy and loan back to Juventus for a season.
I've caught wind of a rumour that Reading are lining up a surprise move for Sylvain Wiltord in the summer. The Royals have had an exceptional debut season in the Premiership and hope to be able to lure a couple of big names to the Madejski next season. Wiltord is no longer a guarenteed starter at Lyon with former Aston Villa striker Milan Baros jumping ahead of him in the pecking order following his move in January, so a move could be a possibility. The former Arsenal striker would probably be available for around £1. 4m and might like the idea of being a club's star player, although Kevin Doyle may have something to say about that.
Real Madrid will make a shock bid for Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie. The Madrid board want to find a Young striker to partner Higuan and the dutch international fits the bill. Arsenal will be unwilling to let one of their prized assets go but a swap deal involving Robinho could persuad the Gunners board.
BIG RUMOURS I have heard that there is to be major change at Man Utd next season. This was caused by the poor performance of the second string in the FA cup. However nobody (except me and very few others) know that Carlos Tevez has a few Clauses in his contract. One says that if the club are relagated, the club have to release him. It also says that if Tevez wants to leave, he may do so. However, he will be offered to clubs for 7mil. If no clubs have signed him by August 31st, West Ham will terminate his contract and he can be free to go wherever he wants.
He wants to succeed in England and will therefore look to the Big 4.
However,
Arsenal do not want him as they already have Henry, Baptista, Walcott, Adebayor, Walcott, Aliadere.
Man United WILL sign Torres and will have Rooney, Saha, Torres, soljskaer, rossi, smith
That leaves Chelsea and Liverpool.
Chelsea have shevchenko (who will NOT LEAVE) and drogba and kalou. Mourinho really believes kalou will become world class and will not spoil his talent by signing another striker especially because next season he is contemplating playing woth 1 striker and 2 wingers. If he does play with 2 strikers, Crespo will be brought back.
This leaves Liverpool.
Bellamy will leave as he is 'incapable of being a 20+goal striker, ' and is just a 'squad player. ' Quotes from Pako Ayestayeran. Fowler will go. this leaves Kuyt crouch and voronin. However Liverpool have a massive problem on their hands. Real mardid are after Dirk Kuyt and are willing to offer Robinho in part exchange. This, I'm afraid will happen. Liverpool will therefore have speed from Robinho (replacing Bellamy) crouch (options) and back up voronin replacing Fowler) . This leaves the hardworking player that we had in Kuyt and therefore Rafa will go for Tevez. We will have Tevez (more talent than Kuyt) crouch, Robinho (may wing it someTimes as well) and voronin.
Rafa does not really went to spend too much on strikers from abroad but to sign Tevez for free or even 7million would be a bargain.
Rafa wants to spend more on a world class winger. He is not looking abroad, but is checking out London-joe cole and aaron Lennon (but just 1)
Cole wants to leave if Chelsea play with 4 central midfielders next year and Liverpool would be perfect for him. He is english, experienced in the premiership and most importantly, class. He can also play behind the strikers, left and right wing. He will replace zenden. More unlikey would be aaron Lennon who is a lot Younger and probably a better investment. Chelsea will sign quaresma and nani as replacements for cole and swp.
Rafa is also looking at a right back and with Chelsea to confirm the signature of micah Richards, glenn Johnson will be heading to Anfield.
These will be some fantastic signings- all Young and with potential.

Chelsea to change things around this summer: leaving will be SWP, geremi, fereira and makelele. Joining will be M Richards, Tevez and Miguel (rb from Valencia) . This will give the squad more balance than this season. NOTE: the arival of Tevez all depends on the future of Eto and if it is possible to have Eto and Drogba in the same squad. no love lost between them two. Barca don't want to lose Eto but all is not well with the european champions presently.
Oh yeah and C Ronaldo is going to leave Manchester in this summers blockbuster transfer saga!

If Birmingham gain promotion to the Premiership, Steve Bruce wants to sign Danish striker, Nicholas Bendtner on a further years loan with Arsene Wenger likely to allow this. Bruce will look to sign Dietmar Hamman for £350,000 from Man City and find a striker who will pair up with Bendtner up front - with Jerome likely to be 3rd choice with Vine as 4th choice and Forsell likely to be sold to a German club. Bruce wants to sign Bobby Zamora from West Ham as a replacement.
