Mark McGhee is to replace Phil Brown at Preston, with Phil Brown leaving to take over at Barnsley form Mark Robins.
Southend are close to a buy-out and will soon change their management with Mark Stimson taking over at Roots Hall. Andy Hessenthaler is to go back to Dover as Director of Football and Peter Taylor will rejoin one of his favourite clubs as manager.
Swindon have a number of interested managers in their vacancy, and Glenn Roeder has recently shown an interest having had a break from football. Roeder has recently said we wants to get back into football at any level and being London-based it wouldn't be too far for him to travel.
Swindon's neighbours Bristol Rovers are close to announcing a permanent manager and Rob Kelly has been mentioned as a front-runner. However, Kelly is also on Swindon's radar as well as Steve Staunton. Current Cardiff City assistant manager Terry Burton may also be an option if (as rumoured) David Jones chooses to leave the Cardiff City Stadium should the Bluebirds not get promoted.

Elliott Bennett will leave if a Premiership team comes in for him with an offer in and around the region of £2.5m - No less this is the minimum price now that they are assured Championship football next season.
Will Hoskins will join in a deal worth £800,000.

Swindon only have the money from those transfers, some of which went on buying Elliott Benyon, who has done nothing this season, some more went on paying off Danny Wilson as well as Paul Hart, you don't have much left, your owners don't have a lot, if they did then you wouldn't be a selling club!

I was having a few drinks at Oulton Hall last week, with a very well known ex-Leeds United legend. He confirmed Leeds have signed 2 player's on pre-contractual agreements; both are Midfielder's and he said one played for Sheffield United and one played for Ipswich Town. If you read the message boards, a reputable poster on Waccoe (VerryTerribles) confirms we are closing in on Nick Montgomery and the only out of contract player at Ipswich is David Norris. This would make sense with Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson out of contract and turning down deals at the club. As always, watch this space, FKTS.

Reading FC to sign Craig Davies from Colchester as replacement for Shane Long.
Long is currently being targeted by Fulham, Everton, Celtic, Newcastle, Wolves and Norwich, as well as several other teams. Long will be made available to suitors offering in excess of £5million if Reading do not get promoted. Long is looking to try his hand in the Premier League next year but is keen not to uproot his partner and young family from the area.
In addition to potentially replacing Long, Reading are looking to try to find a replacement for Jimmy Kebe who is keen on a move back to France is Reading are not promoted and have several youngsters they are considering inviting in for trials over the summer. It may be that they seek to continue investing in their current youth policy, promoting Michail Antonio into the first team.
Matt Mills is currently being targeted by West Brom and Bolton, as a potential replacement for Gary Cahill, and Reading have currently offered a summer trial to Billy Jones, who would be available on a free from Preston at the end of the season. Reading however will expect still competition from Everton for this signing.

Leeds only have one transfer target this summer and intend to move quickly to get Michael Doyle back from Sheffield. The Blades will release Doyle to get the wage bill down.

Heard from a good source that Everton do have money to spend in the summer in the region of £15-£18m.
It makes sense why else would Jags sign a new deal with Arsenal interested and why would Felli enter negotiations in a new contract, also Rodwell comes out today and distances himself from rumours about a switch to Man U.
There is no way these players would think of staying unless the squad was going to improve to challenge for top 4.

Ajax keeper Maarten Stekelenburg is reportedly a 'done deal' to join Man Utd, according to an ex-colleague of Reds coach Eric Steele.
Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws reported that Steele had contacted former Birmingham City goalkeeper Nico Vaesen about Racing Genk's 18-year-old prospect Thibault Courtois recently.
During the conversation Steele reportedly told Vaesen, now a player agent, that Dutch international Stekelenburg was not just United's first choice to replace Edwin van der Sar, but that a deal was already in place to bring him to Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old, who came through the same system as van der Sar and was his understudy at international level for several seasons, appears to have the qualities that Sir Alex Ferguson is searching for.
He is more experienced than the likes of reported 'targets' Manuel Neuer and David de Gea, having played in the World Cup final last summer, and he speaks fluent English - which Ferguson demands in his goalkeepers after learning the hard way with Massimo Taibi and Fabien Barthez.
Ferguson likes to play games with the press to keep them guessing about his targets but United coach Rene Meulensteen, speaking in January, also revealed that the 6ft 6inch-tall Stekelenburg was their number one.
"Stekelenburg is indeed the goalkeeper who is at the top of our wanted list, " Meulensteen said. "We have naturally been talking a lot among ourselves about who should replace Van der Sar. Alex Ferguson has spoken about Stekelenburg with Edwin and that does not seem strange to me at all."
Courtois, the Racing Genk keeper, now appears to be on the radar to one day succeed Stekelenburg.

Anyone who watched Doyle week in week out when he was with Leeds in League One know that he is average at best. He's hardly excelled with relegated Sheff Utd this season has he? Grayson could have signed him last season, if he was any good then we would have done so then. Don't get me wrong I like Doyle, he gives 100% but that doesn't make him a championship promotion player.

Leeds only have one transfer target this summer and intend to move quickly to get Michael Doyle back from Sheffield. The Blades will release Doyle to get the wage bill down.
Doyle's agent has confirmed that Leeds are interested. Leeds remain content with their current squad and see Doyle as the key to promotion.

Southend United have agreed terms to sign Zak Ansah (son of ex-Southend player Andy Ansah) from the Arsenal academy on a season long loan.
Zak, who can play up front or on the wing, is considered to be the next name to emerge from the Arsenal Academy into the first team, and his dad convinced him to join his old club to gain first team experience.

Cesc Fabregas is set to complete a £55 million deal to La Liga giants Barcelona. Barcelona have been monitoring Fabregas every since he left for Arsenal's academy and he is keen to return to the Nou Camp.
Kyriakos Papadopolous is also set to move on from Schalke as he makes a shock move to Wigan. Martinez is said to be looking for defender's to strenghen there mid table push for the 2011/2012 campaign.

Mark McGhee is to replace Phil Brown at Preston, with Phil Brown leaving to take over at Barnsley form Mark Robins.
Southend are close to a buy-out and will soon change their management with Mark Stimson taking over at Roots Hall. Andy Hessenthaler is to go back to Dover as Director of Football and Peter Taylor will rejoin one of his favourite clubs as manager.
Swindon have a number of interested managers in their vacancy, and Glenn Roeder has recently shown an interest having had a break from football. Roeder has recently said we wants to get back into football at any level and being London-based it wouldn't be too far for him to travel.
Swindon's neighbours Bristol Rovers are close to announcing a permanent manager and Rob Kelly has been mentioned as a front-runner. However, Kelly is also on Swindon's radar as well as Steve Staunton. Current Cardiff City assistant manager Terry Burton may also be an option if (as rumoured) David Jones chooses to leave the Cardiff City Stadium should the Bluebirds not get promoted.
