Akinfeev. . he be free and he also said he would leave to play for man utd or arsenal. .with the goal keeper situation in arsenal. . i think he would jump to arsenal. They will be getting another defender. . most prob from pl as they would have exp. If Wenger can sort out this two deals soon then he might try to make a bid for a DM. Alot of names has been thrown at but would love to see kompany in arsenalor even inler. As for attacking there won't be any transfers as most of the injured players will be returning by then. Just my thought

well what ud love too see rly aint gunna happen.along with tevez kompany has been cities best player playing at centre half so theres no way in hell there gunna sell him.kompany for me looks a way better centre half than midfielder although hes nt bad at either.in centre back tho hes lukd a class act this season.(2)(5)

Tangoapeface,
Maynard would cost say 2 or 3 million! can't see the pool paying that! I admit he would fit into our
system well.I think he'll try to get a big 6 footer as we only have Harewood in that mould!
Is this the best trip youv'e ever been on?

Morty

And the rest, looking more at 5 to 6 million, and he wouldn't want to leave city after they have backed him although he has been out for 1/ 2 this season(1)(4)

Gael kakuta to leave chelsea, however if he does leave expect compensation in the region of atleast £7.5mil from the club who signs him as he is under 23, meanwhile ex barca player gui assalin is to sign for blackpool until the end of the season on a free transfer, which will suit both parties, regular game time and a good talented player with low wages and who can leave or earn a longer conract at the same time come the summer(6)(6)

Maynard would be a tad more affordable than Rooney and Man U haven't recently moved in to sign Pittman, Stead and Adomah.

Tangoapeface

For attention of Mr Belekon?

Mr Holloway decides what players Blackpool sign!
Rooney used to play with cathcart!does that mean
pool will sign him aswell?

Ed its been said that 'New England Sports Ventures' are worth around 1.8bn Dollars in total, is this a big enough company to succeed? I mean Randy learner is worth close to that amount on his own. {ed's note - they only need to clear the debt, the club doesn't need any outside investment.}(2)(10)

Forest playing behind closed doors today, Neil Lennon there to watch Wilson again. . however the main rumour connecting the clubs is that Forest are looking to loan Marc Crosas for the rest of the season.

Whether this entails any pre-deal for Wilson I have no further info until after the game/ meeting.(16)(14)

Editor - With John Henry only being worth between 800m-1bn, aren't you a bit worried that this buy-out too will be a leveraged buy-out? {ed's note - John Henry is not buying the club - NESV is. He is merely the figurehead of the company.}(14)(6)

 06 Oct 2010 10:28:49
Ed luv the site I check it all the time but this is my first time to submit. Have been watching with horror what has been happening to our beloved club but I have to say I hope this deal goe's tru but I have one question. In all the reports I've seen there is no mention of whether these new yanks plan to build a new stadium, so do u know is a new stadium in their plans for LFC? {ed's note - I don't officially know, but the club is not really viable unless it has a bigger stadium, I doubt anyone looking to buy it now would not want to do something to fix that situation.}(14)(4)

Gartom says:

Doncaster Rovers update

Brian Stock has asked to be transfer-listed in an attempt to get away from the Rovers in January to save his Wales career.

Also I have on very good authority that Rovers are trying to formulate a deal to bring Nile Ranger in on loan from Newcastle as cover for Billy Sharp.

Randy and houllier are very convinced that villa could get 4th this season. Because of this randy will give houllier a decent amount of cash in january to really push on.
Owen is a main target for houllier. villa need a striker and hed be fairly cheap.
Gago- this may not happen but houllier also wants a defensive mid. Nzonzi is also on his list.
Niko Kranjcar as well. Villa need just a bit more quality and kranjcar would bring this(8)(28)

Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sell to boston red sox owners john henry, hicks and gillett have tried to remove the board and bring in there own to stop the sale process going thru and strongly oppose to the sale as the deal is not enough money for them, this is gonna get very very very messy(31)(8)

Wrexham FC boss Dean Saunders looks set to be offered a new contract after a string of good results. A disappointing start to the season saw the Dragons with only 2 wins in their first 9 games of the season, which lead to calls for Saunders to leave. However, after collecting 10 points from the last 5 games, their league position and chances of promotion have strengthened, so the board is keen to keep the former Wales player at the club and move up the football leagues.(12)(8)

 06 Oct 2010 01:21:22
Wales U21 and Wrexham keeper Chris Maxwell looks to be close to a move away from the Dragons after a number of scouts were spotted at the Racecourse ground. Amongst the crowd was Everton manager David Moyes who sitting next to head goalkeeping coach Kevin O'Brien. Tottenham, Fulham, Wallsall and Bolton are also said to be interested in the 20 year old.(16)(8)
