Several Aston Villa players want out. They have no confidence in Houllier. Randy Lerner is annoyed at the manager persistence to play young players and is 'trying to pick the team ahead of the manager' also annoyed with the clubs position. Swindon Town:
Charlie Austin and Danny Wilson fell out big time after Swindon's shock loss to Crawley in the FA Cup, and one or the other will have left the County Ground before long (perhaps both!)
Charlie is reported as saying 'I've had enough and I want out!' Danny Wilson was also summoned to appear before the directors late tonight. It could be that he's already been sacked.

Few rumours i've heard a few times recently. .
- Michael Owen to Aston Villa. This rumour came out when Houllier took the Villa job after MON walked out. Houllier confirmed himself he would love to re-united with Owen and could make a bid to take him away from United. United are after a new striker and maybe selling Owen will make room for a new striker?
- Wesley Sneijder/ Bastian Schweinsteiger to United. Sneijder I believe is out of it for 3 reasons. . Benitez won't sell to United, Sneijder signed a new deal at Inter not so long ago and the price tag on him is pretty high. Schweinsteiger has hinted he wants to move to the premier league and SAF has hinted he wants him to replace Paul Scholes who SAF believes is on his last legs. £25m is the price United will pay for Schweinsteiger.
- Patrice Evra to Real Madrid. Papers and rumour sites are still linking Evra away from United. . don't know how much truth is there but if he does leave for United then United will look at Benfica's Fabio Coentrao to replace him if the price is right.(14)(7)

Why would Sam Baldock, one of the football leagues best youth talents leave MK Dons for only £500,000? Robbo has already said that he is expecting at least £1 million for him and would most probably not sell him to one of our biggest rivals.

Any Villa rumours that are solid ed? I think Houllier will do well, I think anyone would have struggled with what MON left.
If he goes Newcastle i feel sorry for there fans because after 6 years of being a manager he would have completely ruined your books and you will have a load of players who are useless, tactically unaware and over rated. I am hearing we're looking at getting Jason Roberts and Ben Watson in Jan, plus Van Moen. Also, I hear a rumour that Curtis Davis may be coming in on a perminant. I know he's at Leicester until the end of Jan, but we had a similar situation when we signed Matt Connolly.
Ed, can you confirm any of this?
Do you know of any other QPR rumours? {ed's note - I can't confirm anything other than an enquiry was made about Roberts, I don't know if it was rejected or not, I just know it was made and used by Roberts to get a chance in the team.}

Curtis Davies will probably extend his loan at Leicester City. Aston Villa don't want him to play for them again cos they have to pay money to West Brom or something and it all depends on whether Leicester are promoted. Arsene wenger has set his sights on shay given again.mancini was un willing to sell the irish man in the summer as he wanted to make sure his decision to make joe harte his no.1 was correct.since then the italian has stuck with harte and gave shay a gentlemens agreement that if a serious offer were to come in january he would allow him to leave the club.

Ipswich Town will back Roy Keane in the transfer window regardless of the sale of Connor Wickham. The former United player will be looking to spend about £1.5 million in January with this being his last chance to turn things around at the club.
Cory Evans could arrive at the club on loan from Manchester United. Wether this is part of any prospecitve Wickham deal is unknown.
David James could arrive from Bristol City with the South West club looking to slash their wage bill. David James will be offered a coaching role on retirement.
Aston Villa midfielder Isaiah Osbourne could arrive in a £500,000 deal with the player out of contention at Villa Park.
A striker is Keane's top priority and a number of strikers have been touted to the Irish man. I have heard that Simon Cox, Steve Howard and Alan Smith have all been offered to or received interest from Ipswich.(11)(15)
