The recent rumours about Manchester United's sale to Chinese businessmen was a smoke screen as the real buyers are now believed to members of the Saudi Royal Family. I've spoken to a scout at Newcastle and he believes they could become some of the Premier League's best players– They are negotiating to get them signed onto a proffesional contract at the Tyneside based club.

Newcastle have offered £1.55m plus possibly Frank Wiafe Danquah or Wesley Ngo Baheng on loan for five months with no wages paid to Leeds for Jermaine Beckford. They are seriously considering the offer, but Leeds insist they must recieve a striker on loan until the end of the season as a temporary replacement– It will be either striker Wesley Ngo Baheng, attacking midfielder/striker Frank Wiafe Danquah or Ryan Donaldson. All with the wages paid by Newcastle. They are seriously considering it and the earliest it could go through is by Saturday.

Arsenal and Man Utd will go head to head to try and sign Schalke 04 goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for a fee from around 8–15 million. The 23 year old is seen as the best young keeper in the world and is a big reason why schalke are 2nd in the league at the minute and challenging for the title.

Just heard that Cardiff will not be able to make the deadline for payment of monies owed to the IR. They were depending upon transfer fee(s) being guaranteed this week which have not materialised. Rivaldo is 38 and due to retire this year. There is no chance in hell he is worth £500K never mind £5M. Get a grip.

Anyway Boyd will stay til the end of the season, he will only sign a pre–contract if Rangers cannot meet the wages offered from interested parties from England and Europe (Socheaux, Hertha, 1860, Osasuna) hense, the punting of Mendes.

I live two houses away from ryan giggs and i have discussed various things about united with him, wayne rooney is definitely not going anywhere as he has a child and doesn't want to bring up a child in spain and he would never leave united anyway. nani is looking for an exit with spain being most probable, vidic also wants a move to spain and non starters such as tosic will be leaving also, fergie has been disapointed with berbatov and after giving him enough chances will be looking to sell for half the price with aston villa being quite interested (even though hes not english) Silva and Villa want a move to england with united being their preffered destinations expect around 50–60mill to secure them both, Dzeko and Di Maria are also wanted but fergie will not pay over 15mill for either of them. a Vidic replacement will be needed with Kjaer Rodwell Cahill and Chiellini to pick from. Gourcouff and Hamsik are also wanted by fergie... expect to see most of these signings in summer though

Liverpool fans – couple of major issues:

Torres and SG need operations. Rafa has point blank refused – as far as he is concerned, the ops can wait until the summer. Medical staff and independant medical opinions have confirmed that they can continue playing provided they are nursed through in between games. Both will be forced to have ops in the summer so they are fit for pre–season. Therefore WC is a doubt for both and both are livid. Could cause issues in the summer and one or both may leave OR be the reason behind Rafa's sacking.

Transfer wise – big news from Italy is that Hamsik has been transfered to Liverpool as part of the Dossena deal but won't complete until Summer. Owners want to wait to see if CL is secure before paying fee and wages. Mata deal a real possibility if we can raise funds.

Brentford are interesed in signing paul benson for around 50k. Paul brooker is also in andy scotts to buy list(PAUL Brooker is a very fast and strong player)

Northampton Town's highly rated goalkeeper Simon Brown is desperate to return to Brentford after originally turning down a Keeper/Coach role at GP earlier in the season. Arsene Wenger signing a striker will depend on the fitness test of Nicklas Bendtner.
