Ipswich are looking to secure Jimmy Bullard on a permanent deal in the summer after his performances revived the sqaud. Jimmy has said he would love to play at the club, PJ has stated he wants to do a deal with Hull and all Town fans want him to stay.

Unfortunately, he's on twice the wage he should be for the next two years so Ipswich can't afford him. Much as he says football is more important than money, he's not prepared to give any of it up, so unless we pay him off, he's going nowhere.

Bristol City are already looking at players for next season. The success of the Sainsbury's planning meeting has reignited Steve Lansdown's commitment to the club and ensured Manager Keith Millen will be giving some financial backing for a major mount for promotion. Millen is likely to return to Preston for the versatile Billy Jones who was close to signing in January for the Robins and is out of contract shortly, will approach Tottenham about the possibility of signing Steven Caulker on a second season-long loan or Yeovil for Paul Huntington, stiffen the midfield options with either a return for Evander Sno from Ajax who is surplus to requirements or another loan signing with Josh McEachran of Chelsea who is highly rated by assistant Steve Wigley.
Millen is hoping to keep hold of Nicky Maynard and form next seasons squad around him, with Andy Keogh's return to Wolves iminent.
