I have just been away in Spain for three weeks and heard a few interesting rumours from my source as soon as I got home.
Following the sale of David Bentley, Paul Ince's Blackburn have an extra £15 million to spend on strengthening their midfield. Ince will be looking for a centre midfielder and a new right winger. For the right Jermaine Pennant tops the list for £7 million and the remaining £8 million will be spent on Paul Ince's former team–mate Paul Scholes or Hamit Altintop of Bayern Munich.
Tottenham are going to keep on spending until the cows come home, a few people on their list include Diego Milito (Zaragoza), Thiago Motta (Barcelona), Carlos Cuellar (Rangers) and if Berbatov should leave then Ramos will buy Luis Fabiano (Seville).
Liverpool will still sign Barry, but have been priced out of David Silva as Barcelona have lodged an £18 million bid. Rafa will instead turn his attention to another Valencia winger, Joaquin. He will also still sign Antonio Valencia.
Arsenal will sign Miguel Veloso of Sporting, Arshavin will make his move to FC Barcelona over the next few weeks and Robinho will join Chelsea for £27 million, making way for Kalou and maybe Anelka to move on.

Firstly, I love how so many Liverpool rumours state a player having supported them as a lad LOL. Liverpool will sign Barry and no other big money players, maybe one or two young prospects but that is it. Pennant will leave, as will another first team player to cover the signing of Barry (Kuyt, Alonso. ).
I understand Everton will go back in with a bid for Moutinho now some cash has been raised from AJ, but at the end of the Summer Everton aim to break even in signings with Kenwright keen to sell, however I am lead to believe this will not match the £20 million Sporting are after, but it is possible it may be accepted if it is close/add ons etc.
Moyes will also look to sign a forward, possibly Smith or Nugent.

Hey, I have a friend who works in the finance department for Liverpool FC. He said that an amount of 8 Million has been put aside, ready to be sent to Newcastle in a few days. Tom Hicks has also asked the people down there to find a way for 18 Million to be raised before Friday lunchtime at the latest. So to me this sounds like James Milner and Gareth Barry are on their way to Liverpool.
He also told me that three players are being bid for, with two of those on contract talks as we speak. The two players on contract talks are Voronin and Finnan, negotiating with Sunderland. The fee is in the region of Voronin= £3 million, Finnan= £1.8 million.
The third player is Dirk Kuyt, a bid of £12 million has been made but the papers say Liverpool want £16 million.
You might ask, why do the finance department know all this, it's because everything that happens at Liverpool to do with money goes through them. They know the names of players going out because they have invoices come through for the travel to Sunderland.
They do not know the names of transfer targets, I just guess it is barry and milner.

Those who think that Sergio Aguero is joining Man United for £30 million need to think again. When Liverpool signed Torres, and Garcia went the other other way, they secured a five year first option on Aguero and the only way that anyone else can buy him is if they match the minimum release Clause of £75 million. As Man United do not have that much money and the Fergie would never spend that much on one player I do not think you will see Kun in a United shirt soon. Expect Liverpool to sign him next season, with Alonso and Kuyt in exchange, as a long term replacement for Gerrard and make a front line of Keane, Torres, Babel and Aguero. With Gerrard, Mascherano, Barry (not long now) and Lucas backing up we will be unstopable. LFC forever.

Do not know where all these Man United fans are getting their information but they are wrong. Sergio Aguero is on record as being a Liverpool fan from his days when he was playing for Independiente. He has already stated that he does not want to go to Chelsea (just like Elvis Costello – ha.) and he is unlikely to go to Liverpool's fiercest rivals United. For £1 million St. Mirren's record transfer stands at £400,000 for Thomas Stickroth in a time when the club, like most in Scottish football, was financially better off. Having said that, I would be over the moon if you were right. but you're not.

The Hammers news. LLjunbergs contract termination was due to personal problems involving his father who has criminal charges against him in Sweden. The real pay off figure was £1.5 million. the Hammers are desperate for another forward as Carlton Cole has looked awful in pre–season and Sears is not ready. Saha is seen as a possibility but his injury record is a big worry. They have offered to loan him for a season with an option to buy if he proves his fitness. Nani has recommended Cavani and balotteli from Italian clubs and one of these will arrive on loan next week with a view to a permanent deal. Joe Mattock also be joining as understudy to McCartney.
Outgoing will be Gabbidon, Collins, Quashie and Etherington. The good youngsters will not be loaned out as Curbishley intends to use the extra subs places this season to bring the best of the youth into the first team, ie Sears, Collison, tomkins and Hines.
