To the person that wrote.
Some of the rumours continue to amuse me. To confirm there will be no fee should Arsenal release Sylvestre, Gallas & Senderos, as all of them are out of contract in the summer. As for signing Chamakh, the player has already stated he is signing for Arsenal, I am certain a pre–contract deal has been signed, subject to certain terms & conditions. All will be revealed after the season has finished. Arsenal's chief executive Ivan Gazidis talked of two free transfer signings being negotiated, one of them appears to be Chamakh, any ideas whom the other might be?
Joe Cole is an obvious 1 as he says he would like to live in london.
But i know that Arsenal scouts went to watch Maxime Gonalons alot of times before christmas and Arsenal could have signed him on the free cause they arent a French club but recently he signed a new contract so that won't happen now but Ivan Gazidis could have talked about 2 free transfers before but maybe now its just 1 if he was the 2nd.Would like to say i don't now who the 2nd player was jus letting you know it could have been him before he signed a new contract with Lyon.
One last thing is that Ivan Gazidis also said in an interview that AW could spend 40–50 mil on a player if he thought it was good business.Could that player be Gonzalo Higuain and AW expressed an interest last April when there was talk of Van Persie .Im not saying he will sign for Arsenal just a rumour.

Fao the cardiff city employee.

first of all, thank you for taking the time to answer most of the questions i asked you.

(no worries glad to help)

second, if this is common knowledge at the club why aren't the fans being told (or is it a ploy by riddler to keep him at the club until the summer?) if, as you say, investment is coming surely it's good news and the club should be shouting it from the rooftops.

(might be a ploy, as you suggest, but investment is on the way – got some new news..the interested party is meeting Peter at the Cheltenham Festival)

as for the players you mentioned, barring hennessey (who would have to be paid a heck of a wage in order to drop from premiership to championship) they seem like average championship players. that greek guy is konstantinos mitroglu, by the way, and if he goes anywhere it would be to a club like fulham/everton and not cardiff. that's almost as daft as the rumour that we're going to sign luis boa morte lol! we've already broken the bank enough times in recent seasons and had more crocks than a leprechaun – we don't want to go down the hasselbaink road again.

(well, we can't guarantee that every player we sign will be of the caliber of kaka or cristiano ronaldo. however, the players mentioned are more than capable of holding their own in the championship. thanks also for putting me right on mitroglu), and we won't sign 'crocks' as you put it. also, we are not signing boa morte).

for my reckoning, you are close to riddler or on his side. if you are being honest about riddler getting investment in then ok, but why is it that steve borley has been tasked with flying out to malaysia? if riddler was that keen he would have gone himself.

(close yes, and on his side as he's the only person who can steer us through the current problems. peter knows that things aren't good – he isn't a stupid man – and he is more determined than ever to get us out of it. plus the Malaysians weren't his idea..and if you think they'll invest millions you are wrong. there is only one genuine person interested at present and as soon as more news is known i PROMISE to let you know what i can).

still not too sure about this 'investment' rumour so will post this on the ccmb site this week.

(ok, your choice)

thanks again and i hope you are being honest – we've had very little of that from ccs of late, so it would be a refreshing change.

(mate, having worked for three major sports industries before being involved in club management I have to be both honest and professional. as I said, more is to come..)

Andrew Surman will become a Forest player within days

The south African born midfield player signed for Wolves from Relegation southampton in the summer but has found it hard to break into the premier league sides first team.

Surman was tracked by Davies in the summer, looks likely that Davies will get his man.

Re: the villa fan on adam matthews.

you're right, and it looks like an attempt by cardiff to ramp up his price (remember they are skint.)

a lot of premier clubs want matthews though – he's a good mate of rambo (aaron ramsey) and wenger has looked at matthews a few times. also blackburn are interested in him and darcy blake (also at cardiff)

Man Utd to sign J Cole on a free transfer this summer. they will also sign Dan Gosling on a free transfer, though a fee will be decided at a tribunal.
Rodwell is not a target for this summer, although if another team makes a bid utd will attempt to outbid them, in a similar fashion to Rooney's transfer where newcastle's bid prompted Utd to enter a higher bid.
no goalkeeper will be signed this summer as Van Der Sar has extended his contract for one more year.
major money will be spent on a central midfielder to replace scholes, with Gourcouff the preferred option.
no striker will be signed unless Berbatov is sold, and this will only be if he indicates he wishes to leave.

having a drink in the drayton just before the Burnley game there was a fair bit of chat going on. There were lots of "rumours" but the one that sounded most feasible was Joe Cole! Apparently Nasri is being used as a makeway for a deal for Mario Balotelli and has been for the last 6 months!! OK it is pub talk but at least im not claiming who arsenals manager will be 2019 and the starting lineup for the 2031 – 2032 season like some (esp Liverpool) clowns keep doing!

Stories coming out of Celtic park, DD unhappy about damage to his reputation amid all these conspiracy claims, May look to pull out of CFC sooner than later.

08 Mar 2010 14:23:13
Portsmouth midfielder Papa Bouba Diop has been seen at the Leicester City training ground. He is training with a possibility of a month long loan deal, with a view to a permanent signing in the summer. The only thing stopping this transfer will be if Portsmouth do not suffer a points deduction.

Also seen at the Leicester training ground is former youth midfielder Stephen Dawson, now at Bury. He has impressed in League Two in Bury's promotion hunt and would be eager to sign back for his boyhood club.

To the person who said that chelsea will sign four players, all of 25–60 million, is dillusional. No club except man city can do that, while only making about 25 million in profit. Also, barcelona is not stupid enough to let messi go. He will be there for the rest of his career, unless someone bids over 110 million. Man city have stated that they will bid 100 million for Torres, so 95 million for Messi is way too low.

Ive hurd that Man Utd will sign A.Madrid keeper De Gea as SAF thinks hes a future star and doesn't look that bad of a keeper also Di Maria for 17mil and Rayes On loan and maybe offered contract for 4 years also Villa and Silva for 30 and 35mil + Berba

Owen will not be leaving, especially for free, he signed a two year contract so a free transfer is out of the question, his injury is just unlucky & he will make a full recovery for United for next term.

He has told everyone that he is happy to sit on the bench week in week out, not many players if any would be happy to do that, so Fergie will be happy to keep him as a Solskaer type player for at least one more season, who wouldnt?

Also United will not sign Dan Gosling, he is a decent player but not quite United quality, plus their is no chance Moyes would let both him & Rodwell leave, Rodwell however is hot on the United radar.

Berbatov will stay, unless a silly offer comes in of course, Fergie likes him a lot, so expect him to still be at United next season.

Finally Hulk is not good enough to play for United & after his four month domestic ban for violence he has ZERO chance of ever playing at Old Trafford for United.

As an exiled Englishman living in Scotland I have to let the Rangers fans know of my experiences whilst living here. I am a regular traveller to London to watch my beloved Chelsea but have many friends on both sides of the border, which include journalists from both countries. I can confirm that the Scottish press WERE informed, by Media House, who I believe are contracted in some way to Sir David Murray, not to publish anything derogatory or detrimental about Rangers nor to question any decision given in favour of Rangers or against Celtic, this "threat" came with the caveat of access to Rangers news as and when requirement for publication. This information initially came from a good friend in the English press and was confirmed by a Scottish journalist. I don't care about the old firm or their politics but to hear Rangers fans berate Celtic fans and their club for paranoia, you really want to open your eyes, I know for sure there is collusion between the SFA and Rangers but you'll have to go a long long way to get anyone to admit it. My Scottish journalist friend has heard that the sht is really about to hit the fan if and when Celtic take the situation further, you heard it here first. JT 4 ever.

Bristol city to sign wolves left back/Midfielder Andrew Surman and Bolton Defender Danny Shittu also giving a trial to AFC Nailsea defender Marcus Ridge

A load of people in belfast saying that the pool will be signing arda turan from turkey and kjear who iv never heard of, plays in italy and is from denmark so could link up well with agger. Turan is a good show from what iv seen of him but might be risky. Not heard much bout who is leaving but in my opinion it should be riera, ngog, lucas and as much as i like him dirk kuyt. could run all day but we should use someone who can beat players and run at defenders and frankly i don't fink kuyt could hit a cow on the arse with a banjo! Ideal team for next season would be Riena, johnson, carra, agger, bastos, masch, aqua, maxi, gerrard, mata, torres

08 Mar 2010 02:29:48
Michael Owen on his way to Rangers in the summer on a free transfer. No EPL clubs are interested in the former goldenboy. He due to sign £30,000 a week 2 year deal if he can prove his fitness. He will move back to his North East home he had from his time at Newcastle.

Danny Welbeck to be given more prominant role in the first team. Dimi Berbatov on his way back to Germany, FC Bayern and Werder Bremen very interested in him.

Expect a £35 million pound (made of add ons) double bid for Everton pair Jack Rodwell and Dan Gosling. Plus £15 million pound bid for Hulk.

Nottingham Forest Captain Paul McKenna suffered Knee ligament damage on saturdays clash with Swansea city. Billy Davies, Nottingham Forest manager was quick to inform reporters that his aim in the coming days is to bring in someone to cover the injured skipper. He also added that there were other areas that needed addressing. A replacement for McKenna could be Portsmouth midfielder Hayden Mullins. Mullins , like McKenna is a holding midfield player and with Portsmouth eager to sell their assets as soon as possible this deal could be pushed through quickly.
The deal would inevitably be a loan with a permanent move in the summer. Mullins has played in the Premierhip for some time and was part of the team that beat Preston in the playoff final 1–0. Invaluable experience, this one could be a real gem.

None of the information recieved from my sources has been realised to date.. The Acquisitions panel at Forest seem to drag out transfers for as long as possible, Lee Naylor / Mark Reynolds could still be the solution to the left back position. And i am still hearing things about Darren Ambrose .. fingers crossed. ForestRED

Celtic fan with a rangers link info?Crazy but true.I work with Billy Davies wife who can't help but tell us everything that goes off in the wee mans life. Hes not happy at notts forest because of the boards reluctance to back him.He is pinching one of the old buoys though and recruiting Lee Naylor for the rest of the season (which is probably how long he will last there unless forests owner backs him)And he hates that little alien earnshaw so much he would carry him to any part of britain to get rid of him!!Pity he knows nothing about Celtic because im fed up to my back teeth with the nonsense happening here!"

1) Davies is not married
2) Emergency loan window is not international, so scots clubs can't loan to english clubs.
3) Earnshaw: really? why does he keep playing him then?

08 Mar 2010 00:35:10
Right, it's PSR again and after calling it right all summer, I'm staking my reputation on this one. Rafael Da Laet to Notts Forest from Man Utd on a loan until the end of the season.

Now John O'Shea is coming back sooner than expected, along with Vidic and Ferdinand, Fergie sees no harm in getting Da Laet a bit of experience.

Forest manager Billy Davies is a Scot, like Ferguson, and the two have recently attended the same charity event in Glasgow and shared a couple of jokes.

Hopefully it'll stand us in good stead for the future. PSR
