Busy few days ahead at Gigg Lane

Ins
Stephane Zubar
Ashley Grimes
Calvin Zola
John Oster
Kevin Ellison
Andy Procter

Outs
Andy Bishop - York
Shaun Harrad - Burton
Trevor Carson - Bradford
David Worrall - Crawley

I doubt you will get Ellison as he has just signed a new 1 year contract at Morecambe. The only way you will get him is if you pay a fee.

10 Jun 2013 10:39:36
procter and Beardsley are set for bury as they are both league 2 standard and will suit bury

10 Jun 2013 12:20:36
i thought carson had signed a one year deal recently.

Doubt we will bring back andy bishop

Zola staying at Burton, don't want Harrad back

09 Jun 2013 22:28:34
Cheltenham are set to sign winger Courtney Cameron following his release from Aston Villa.

Going to Walsall mate

Hope so! Quality player, can cross a ball well

09 Jun 2013 22:04:38
Celtic want Kevin Doyle and Richard Dunne, the source is Neil Lennon's mouth

Wouldn't work for Lennon

I'm pretty sure Neil Lennon's mouth works.

09 Jun 2013 21:59:33
Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City are interested in Sheffield Wednesday player Liam Palmer.

I doubt it very much he signed a new 2 year deal before he was sent back to TRFC last season, Wednesday see palmer as good youngster who will feature for them this upcoming season. FACT

Palmer had a decent year at Tranmere lasy year.

Although he signed a new deal Wednesday don't see him as more than backup and there is a lot of competition in the CM role so I would assume this has some substance.

09 Jun 2013 22:02:16
Sunderland will move for Celtic keeper Fraser Forster if Keiran Westwood and/or Simon Mignolet leaves the club. Sunderland also considering Celtic striker Gary Hooper, however QPR also interested in Hooper. Cardiff want to bring back Joe Ledley from Celtic also.

Newcastle fan and former player, unlikely

Forster is going nowhere as nl has stated for he is our main piece right now and is on long term deal. Hooper maybe and Ledley is going nowhere as well as he even said he wants a new contract to stay for he gets what the club is about

10 Jun 2013 03:37:04
And Danny Graham is a Newcastle fan who played for Boro and now Sunderland.
So your point is invalid

09 Jun 2013 21:30:11
Chris O, Grady will be signing for Barnsley this week also
Martin Crainie will sign a new contract. Brilliant news

Chris O'Grady has said he is more than happy to stay at Wednesday! News about Martin Cranie is true! Quality centre half!

Of course he said he would be happy to stay at Wednesday, just covering his back. Chris O, Grady will become a Barnsley player

Chris said he will play where he is wanted not stay at wednesday

He dint he said he will play were he is wanted

Dunt know what all the fuss is about,
Ogrady did very well for us over a short period, and Wednesday will either sell him or not,
It's not the end if they don't,
We just move on to someone else,
Get a grip barnsley fans,

Chris O'grady is on his way to barnsley after deeda accepted 300k bid for him now discussing personal terms

FACT

Wednesday don't want ogrady aswell as they don't want us to have him either that's why they asking for stupid money for him

Barnsley have made improved offer for the kris o'grady which is likely to be accepted

Barnsley are currently close to signing Chris O'Grady and is bound to sign quite soon.

09 Jun 2013 20:18:56
Cardiff have received 1.5 million euros for velokonja ( if that's how you spell it )malky sees him as one for the future but has not impressed in the games he has played. Real Sociedad have put the bid in.

Hope this is true he's not up 2 scratch.

09 Jun 2013 22:43:45
Explain how he isn't up to scratch scoring for fun in the reserves and not been given a chance

Reesy

Was bought to play in the premier league as you will see?

I seen him play Charlton in the reserve play off final and did not impress me one bit

I agree if he can't get a game in the champ why would we keep him 4 the prem lo clueless!

Should send him on loan to Yeovil to get some game time!
Don't sell him though!

09 Jun 2013 20:36:44
Grant McCann is possible transfer target for Ipswich, it's believed McCarthy will turn to McCann if a deal for Gary dicker hits a snag

He is signing a new deal at Posh he has already confirmed this himself

It will hit a snag because dicker has said he would rather go 2 middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough are signing everyone lol

09 Jun 2013 20:31:14
Went to Martin Patersons wedding the other day and he says he is on the verge of extending his stay at Burnley for another 2 years with only a few wrinkles needed to be ironed out. It is expected to be announced wednesday

Like he's going to tell you off the cuff

Surely his close family and friends don't post his rumours here?

Do know him?, doubt his family/friends would post on here. Last game he said he wants to go to Port Vale for first team appearances

10 Jun 2013 12:22:43
tell him he needs to start getting the green n. irish shirt on more often. injured. always.

09 Jun 2013 20:18:02
Any Norwich news Ed? {Ed003's Note - Try the Norwich page}

Nathan Redmond is a done deal

Considering Redmond is in Israel at the moment it isn't a done deal.

Southend United Are In Talks With Barnet Striker Jake Hyde After He Handed In A Transfer Request From The Relegated Bees.

Any burnley news Ed?

Pato close to new deal

09 Jun 2013 18:37:37
Millwall goalkeeper David Forde is set to join Crystal Palace for cover for their assault on the premiership. The deal should net Millwall around £200,000.

Don't think so, Forde is Republic of Ireland keeper don't think he will sit on the bench as cover!

No chance!

Could be some truth in this? But Forde loves to be number 1 & playing all the time!COYL

09 Jun 2013 21:35:02
Julian Speroni is a better keeper than forde

Forde is still a decent keeper but 'WALL' should be looking for a younger man!

No chance. Not for £200,000. Stick another zero on it. We don't need to sell and Fordey is very happy at Millwall.

Forde needs to be first choice to remain Ireland's number 1. You can assess the chances if happening for yourselves.

10 Jun 2013 22:44:50
Palace will try and sign Adam Le Fondre from Reading but the Royals holding out for 5 million as former Club Rotherham have a clause to be paid.

Forde has come out and said he can't wait to get off his summer break at sort out a new contract with millwall. Source: NewsatDen

I hope that David Forde stays with us. These figures are insulting - Le Fondre scores a couple of goals off the bench in a relegated team - Forde is worth twice Le Fondre and Le Fondre is not worth £5m. Would Forde want to sit on the bench when the reason he is Ireland no. 1 is because he is regular 1st team place - besides Palace will get relegated anyway next year so would not be good move for him I would think.

Yeah great goalkeeper! That's why you just about survived relegation.

Clearly the above knows nothing about football. Forde is one of the reasons we survived. Our problem was scoring, conceding wasn't the issue. Go read some facts before making a stupid comment like that.

He is a great goalkeeper. Obviously you didn't watch the England v Ireland game then? He was outstanding and probably should of got man of the match. And like the above stated, it was our goal scoring that let us down and got us in a relegation fight and we survived mainly because of our goal difference. He didn't finish as player of the year runner up for nothing you know.

09 Jun 2013 18:34:34
rene howe to Carlisle united, any truth behind this?

Rumour here is that he is to join Oxford United in next week or so? But likely players still busy looking at options. Most clubs have the players back for pre-season in next 2/3 weeks and i'd suggest most Managers would want players in situ before then. so next week or so could be interesting

He Is In Talks With Southend At The Moment, I Spoke To Him In The Club Car Park Yesterday (08/06/2013)

Yes that could come true as he bought a house in that area

09 Jun 2013 18:28:54
Plymouth Argyle are in contract talks for Southampton's recently released duo Sam Hoskins and Danny Butterfield.

Butterfield will probably go to a higher league.

09 Jun 2013 18:22:05
Iago Aspas signs for Liverpool.

Not yet, but hopefully soon!

09 Jun 2013 18:19:24
Benteke to Tottenham £19m

The fact that villa set a minimum fee of £40m before they would entertain enquiries obviously passed you by. And the fact that if he leaves it will only be to a top CL club

09 Jun 2013 21:27:58
?and Bale to Madrid or Man City for 28.5m maybe too?

Could be a one season wonder. Jelavic? Give it another year

09 Jun 2013 18:09:28
Mark schwarzer to sign a 1 year deal at Bristol city after his release from fulham

Schwartzer is prem quality, no way will he be playing in league one.

He will go to another BPL team.

Haha no chance

With the FFP rules in place, his wages would be a problem

Not if he accepts the wages he is offered. The job you take determines the wages you are on not vice versa.

He is surly calling it a day?

He is surly only going to play MLS or middle east now?

This seems unlikely given the scale of the drop in divisions, plus we've had "experience" of ageing keepers coming to us like this with David James - most fans would see it as being a high cost risk with no sell on value.

Mind you, stranger things have happened.

09 Jun 2013 17:08:15
Doncaster have emerged has serious contenders to take Manchester United starlet' Nick Powell on loan

Cardiff also in the frame for Powell on a season long loan

He is signing for middlesbrough

He's signed for middlesbrough fc

No he hasn't signed for Middlesbrough.

His loan won't be decided until early July and there is a big chance he will stay in the prem with a bottom half team like Aston villa who like young progressive players

It be nice to get him at rovers, but unfortunately I can't see it tbh especially if there's prem and bigger championship clubs interested

With a bit of luck Mr Moyes will take note of how we handled the loan of John Lundstram from Everton at the end of last season. I'd like to see Powell at Rovers, see what all the fuss is about.

09 Jun 2013 16:54:52
Any Ipswich news Ed? {Ed003's Note - you were close to agreeing a deal for Broadfoot last I heard mate}

Have been told stearman deal is now done with wolves and player is in talks with club this week.

How true a rumour is it? As wouldn't be a bad signing if true

Please play Broadfoot at Right back if you sign him. {Ed003's Note - Do not take this posters advice lol}

Kenny jacket wants to keep stearman at wolves and has stated that none of the players under contract will go anywhere until he speaks with them at start of per season training. I don't think stears is keen on league one football though.

Jez Moxeys Second Chin

09 Jun 2013 16:39:24
Jimmy Bullard set to return to MK Dons alongside Alan Smith as coaches under Robbo. Smith set to announce retirement from playing side this week.

Smith won't retire but with Harford seemingly gone then I can see one of them taking up this role probably Bullard as Smith has got the under23 squad now

09 Jun 2013 20:09:40
Blimey, Alan Smith and Jimmy Bullard in positions of responsibility and influence in a club. I fear for the Dons' future. especially their disciplinary record.

Bullard and Smith? Might as well be Del Boy and Rodney.

:- (

10 Jun 2013 17:37:30
tv saying Gary waddock ex Wycombe boss, good addition in my eyes

SKY reporting that Gary Waddock will replace Harford as assistant manager. However, Jimmy Bullard did meet up with Karl Robinson in Spain last week - fact. Perhaps he's considering a coaching or scouting role?

It is going to be GARY WADDOCK because Karl Robinson is a big admirer of the ex wycombe manager.

Bullard and Robinson only met up for a few pints, not to discuss football. Heaven forbid!

:- (

Maybe he will be lined up as a replacement for Robinson who will probably go if someone comes asking during the season.

09 Jun 2013 16:37:58
Huddersfield to sign patterson, mackay stevens, vaughan and scott wooton and also christie from coventry. 100% accurate. Hup hup

? with what? brass buttons? We NEVER spend money, even when we have it, and we don't have it now

Will have to wait and see

Forget Christie, "jobs for the boys", and "managers favourites" never do a club any good

Never spend money? Current team. Ward £1m. Gobern & Norwood £400k Scannell £500k. Gerrard £300k. Clayton £450k. that's afew for you!

Dean Hoyle is very shrewd we still have all the Jordan Rhodes money that he was holding onto hoping to spend ig if we stayed in the championship.

Just you watch him back Robins to the Hilt. {Ed003's Note - I'll leave it for other Huddersfield fans to explain the Rhode's transfer fee,it bored the tots off me last year trying to explain it!}

Cutting a long story short, were getting the Rhodes money in installments {Ed003's Note - thanks}

We are getting 2 strikers 1 winger and 1 defender, this WILL happen as we will spend money, OK 👿

OK here goes
the Rhodes money is beiong pais in installments of 2 million a year for 4 years, that money is going towards the immediate running of the club

Unfortunately Town are not going to splash much cash. The owner is more interested in developing financial assets for the club to make a little profit when he sells. Nothing wrong with that, as he saved the club in the first place. Expect us to trundle along in bottom half of the Championship for a few years until a new owner comes in to invest on the playing side. Yes, we invested some money, but only that money coming from season tickets, TV money etc

Yh, we get the 8 mill between 5 years

On the Rhodes money that's nothing unusual, most players are bought on instalments and Huddersfield will be buying new players by the same method. As for not spending money Beckford, Danns and Vaughan cost close on £2million in loan fees and wages.

10 Jun 2013 08:46:18
Hoyle has spent about 20 million so far.

Christie going no where. He is a cov boy.

Agreeably DH isn't going to throw his money he's worked hard to make down the toilet, he did say he would only leave the club if the fans asked him to, in an examiner article a month or so back. I think he'll stay as chairman for quite a few years but we won't be spending big money he's also stated he wants the club to pay it's own way so no ridiculous wages either

20 m of his own money? 320 mill in bank. 20 mill of our money you mean! as it was probably all interest he earned from the bank he spent!

If it wasnt for dean hoyle we wudnt be where we are now so give him credit for what he's done

If it was interest he earned from the money he had in the bank, money he earned before becoming the owner of Huddersfield from his other business how exactly could it be our money.
look at the past few years annual statement, the club has been running at a loss between 4 and 5 million the past few years, Dean Hoyle has been personally funding that loss and before you say anything if it was our money being used it would be a loss it would be income into the club

09 Jun 2013 16:35:46
ANY BRISTOL CITY TRANSFER NEWS IN OR OUT.
ANY BRISTOL CITY TRANSFER NEWS IN OR OUT.

Ajala loan to afc wimbledon again

Doubt that considering he was getting first team football when he returned

He was only getting first team games as we were already relegated, I'm sure he isn't even a match day squad player for Bristol City.

Wes Burns will also likely be available for loan again.

09 Jun 2013 16:17:30
Bristol city news:
albert adomah is joining Cardiff city for £800,000 plus young Cardiff defender ben nugent! Both to sign 3 year deals early next week!

Nugent isn't going anywhere, mackay has said he could be the future captain of the team, however you might get him on loan,

Please god no. we have a superb work ethic in the team, no space for passengers!

Can't see nugent bein sold maybe a loan at best!

Malky loves Nugent, no way City would let him go. Maybe on loan but no chance for long term deal!

09 Jun 2013 15:21:30
Crystal Palace & sunderland are interested in signing 24 year old Alfred Finnbogason who currently plays for Heerenveen who in august 2012 signed the mentioned player on a 3 year deal for the young icelandic striker. Heerenveen may well be reluctant to sell but if an offer in the region of £ 3.5 million could prise him away he has quite a prolific record over the past couple of years.

Cardiff have been linked with Finnbogason since the January window. The Icelandic connection is strong!

Celtic linked with him as well but am hearing holloway to revive deal to bring in the derry pele to palace paddy mc court

09 Jun 2013 14:56:07
Young Sunderland striker Duncan Watmore is a loan target for Rotherham, Yeovil, Peterborough and Swindon after Di Canio signed him from Altincham but doesn't feel he's ready for first team football yet.

Duncan Watmore Set to sign for Sheffield Wednesday.

He's going to Hartlepool.

09 Jun 2013 14:51:16
Hearts, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd all interesting in signing ex Dundee Utd forward David Goodwillie, however may not be able to afford him as Blackburn are holding out for some of the £2.2m they paid. Bolton are set to jump to the front of the queue and make a bid for Goodwillie, with Dougie Freedman a big admirer and willing to give him a chance to prove his undoubted ability.

09 Jun 2013 14:47:20
Richie wellens is too sign for doncaster since being released by Leicester city Doncaster are also interested in Manchester city youngster Abdul Razak

He hasn't been released?

09 Jun 2013 14:21:36
Any transfer news on Saints Ed?

You not seen the hundreds of players they are signing in their quest for world domination

09 Jun 2013 20:15:53
If he can sign his name, Southampton are in for him.

09 Jun 2013 13:51:48
I said before that a more experienced name would come up, it appears Mark Yeates released this summer is interesting Yeovil

Mark Yeates would be a very good signing, I saw him play for Colchester a couple of times and he was their best player for sure.

09 Jun 2013 15:10:40
newly promoted Partick Thistle linked with moves for Steven Saunders and Derek Riordan, as well as Arbroath striker Steven Doris who Birmingham still maintain an interest in

09 Jun 2013 15:07:30
Celtic have bid accepted for Amido Balde. Crystal Palace still want to try and hijack the move. Celtic set to hijack Derby's move for Johnny Russell. Celtic also considering a bid for Leigh Griffiths if talks for Anthony Stokes new deal falls through and he leaves. Griffiths wishes to return to Hibs but they may not have the funds.

Wow. Celtic want 3 strikers even though they already have 5. Yeah sure pal.

Russell is going to Derby, announced tomorrow

Johnny Russell is on his way to Derby medical and deal being finalised tomorrow.

Celtic don't have 5 strikers!! And the OP said griffiths would be a back up option if stokes leaves, which would 1 out 1 in, same numbers!
As much as I don't agree but don't jump the gun on the reply :)

Stokes can't leave he still has a year on his contract

09 Jun 2013 21:59:41
Hooper, Stokes, Lassad out - Balde, Russell, Griffiths in

Your informations of whack, Russell is at Derby as I type being impressed, also he's declared that he wants to play and not keep the bench warm for Celtic. So what dreams can you thrill us with next?

I just wish Stokes would retire so that he stops appearing in the Stoke City transfer rumours every year! {Ed003's Note - lol}

Russell signed for Derby today so next story please!

I feel the same for Matt Derbyshire, as a Derby fan

Lmao to the stoke fan

09 Jun 2013 15:03:15
Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee Utd want ex Dundee Utd forward David Goodwillie, however Blackburn want to recoup a decent amount of the fee they paid Dundee Utd for him. So, Bolton are set to come in with an offer for Goodwillie and jump to the front of the queue to sign him. Dougie Freedman is a big admirer of Goodwillie and is willing to give him the chance to prove his undoubted ability.

09 Jun 2013 16:39:16
Blackpool will be his destination this summer #seasider 91

You mean the same dougie freedman that took him to palace, then sent him back to blackburn early as he didn't cut the mustard {Ed003's Note - Or the player returned for personal reasons if truth be told}

09 Jun 2013 14:27:04
Head from a reliable source that Bury are aiming to get 2 of 3 strikers who are Calvin Zola, Brett Williams and Ashley Grimes.

Oxford and Northampton are also in the hunt for Williams.

God I'd love to get reliable head

No chance that Cobblers are in for Brett Williams

Agreed. Same with oxford. Williams is not at the level we are looking for

09 Jun 2013 14:17:39
Released Southampton full back Frazer Richardson is set to sign for hometown club Rotherham United.

I hope he does get a club. Was great for Saints.

09 Jun 2013 18:45:29
This won't happen! We have signed one right back all ready have one and he's too old now. Nice lad as I know him but he won't be signing for us.

Deffo not happening

Frazer Richardson, is going back up North,,,,,,,,,,,, but to York City

He is in talks with bournemouth.

He is a decent fullback, he should go to Bournemouth IMO.

Bournemouth are apparently signing Frazer and Chaplow, if they do expect them to be atleast challenging for the playoffs, they're both exactly the type of player and quality to take their squad to the next level

Fraser Richardson has been great for saints, what a great free signing he would be to anyone. Good luck

09 Jun 2013 14:16:35
Tottenham wants to buy kacaniklic from Fulham for 7m + huddlestone.
Who they might get: Raul Garcia (Athletico Madrid), Joleon Lescott (Manchester City).

Who they have signed already: Sascha Riether (Cologne, undisclosed), Derek Boateng (Dnipro, undisclosed), Fernando Amorebieta (Athletic Bilbao, free), Maarten Stekelenburg (Roma, undisclosed)

Who they have lost already: Mark Schwarzer, Chris Baird, Simon Davies, Mahamadou DIarra, Georgios Karagkounis, Mladen Petric.

Boateng was free, Stekelenburg was 4 million euros and Sascha Reither was 1.8 million

Spurs are willing to pay 7mil. for kaca, so the deal would be around 2mil plus huddlestone. Sacha was 1.3mil, Derek was free, and marten was 4mil. Jol is working with about 16mil for the summer and is looking to bring in another cm and replace everyone who was released.

Actually, we've lost 12 player on frees, and Boateng was a free as he was released from his contract with Dnipro

I put this up all about the first team

Bent is coming to Fulham to play along side berbatov and we got maarten from as roma for 4 million, Derek on free transfer from dnipro, amorebieta free transfer from athletic bilbao and sascha riether from cologne for 1.3 million and getting bent would be a good signing. I am not being funny but Fulham should get el shaarway to play along side bent and berbatov and ross turnbull as a back up goalkeeper if david stoackdale goes on loan to hull or somewhere else we need cm and cb and rb for Fulham if they need to get in the top 8 they need high players to play the team and not get low players we just waste money on players we don't need ok some players are good but still, if you agree we me then reply

I do agree but el shearway is wanted by man city. a cm could be claraly from man united also Danny Simpson for free snice he is a free agent.

09 Jun 2013 14:16:10
Blackburn have rejected an offer from Dundee United for striker David Goodwillie. The offer was considered far too low by Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer. Other clubs are interested and Rotherham are the front runners. Goodwillie himself was keen on a loan with view to permanent move to Rotherham, along with left back Josh Morris, a few months ago but it fell through due to Michael Appleton been sacked. The millers are yet to make a formal offer but have expressed interests and unlike Dundee actually have the funds to make the deal happen.

09 Jun 2013 18:46:56
Would be very happy to take both is these and could see it coming off if the price is right for both clubs.

I hope so he would be a great signing

09 Jun 2013 13:03:50
Now that Chris Wilder has returned from leave expect a few Oxford signings before players report back for pre-season on Friday 21st June. The squad numbers will be 16 with 3 more additions to follow in July.

The new recruits will be:

Kennedy-Scunthorpe
Hyde-Barnet
Randall-Chesterfield

Hyde Is In Talks With Southend. Here We Have Another Over-Ambitious Oxford Fan.

09 Jun 2013 20:50:19
and you are certainly a very over ambitious Southend fan talking to howe earlier I believe yeh whatever

Yes Oxford please take Randall he's very poor

Hope your not joking about Randall.
Take him with our gratitude!

Randall is now a free agent so CFC have got rid either way

Randall is a good football when he is interested but too many times shies away from the game

Not according to the local paper. were about to offer him a new contract.

I thought Southend couldn't afford to pay their players? So why would they be talking to other players?

Good flair player but will not put a foot in, sometimes skills his way OFF the ball, great when in space but not to make space or when pressured, attacking minded but can't defend/mark/tackle

09 Jun 2013 09:24:51
Middlesbrough strongly linked with former Man city and united defender frederic veseli. The 20 year old Swiss defender has just been released from old trafford only 18 months since joining from rivals City. The versatile defender see's the move to Middlesbrough as an ideal opportunity to resurect his flagging career.

Uniteds loss could be Boro's gain looks like a good player

09 Jun 2013 09:17:29
Guilherme Siqueira and Odion Ighalo both want to leave Granada and are likely to end up at Watford to be in the shop window for the Premier League as well as firing them up from Championship.

Good rumour would be good additions think Ighalo is more of a possibility.

Siqueira's been linked to Manchester United in the past, I'd be delighted but surprised if we got him. I think he wants a move to a club in a European competition or at least a club with a chance to get into one in the near future. Ighalo could happen as he we need if a striker if Vydra and Geijo don't return and he's expressed a desire to move to English football.

Too old. He's 27. abdi and Pudil proved themselves, so they're ok at 27

Don't be ridiculous. 27 is not too old. we got Cassetti and Almunia and they're 35+. Ok, one year deals. but 27 is not too old by any stretch of the imagination. The idea that Udinese only buy young players is very naive.

27 is nowhere near too old. That's some FIFA logic right there.

09 Jun 2013 14:01:46
Mick Harford has been sacked as MK Dons' assistant manager. No indication given yet for possible replacements.

No harm. He was useless.

There were rumours in MK that he was being moved to head of scouting (replacing Alex Rae) with Alan Smith taking over as Assistant Manager.

Alan Smith

09 Jun 2013 13:52:47
Carlisle United will be looking to to sign Ryan Noble and Josh Gillies in the next week!

Calvin Zola on way too. All signings will be made when Greg Abbott returns from holiday.

Two of them sound likely but calvin zola would be a good replacement for miller with a tiny bit more pace, to be honest takes nothing to out run miller

Gillies is true, Ryan Noble isn't. I I don't understand people's obsession with him, he's not as good as people seem to think.

All of them are likely to happen epecially with lee miller refusing a contract offer.

All these Ryan Noble experts. Have any of you seen him play? He maybe didn't do well at Hartlepool because they were probabily the worst team in league one last season.

Played for England at all levels up to under 19s so must have something.

09 Jun 2013 13:50:58
Huddersfield Town are looking at possible targets including:
Dexter Blackstock
Lee Camp
Eric Lichaj
Gary Mackay-Steven
Adam Hamill
James Vaughan

Dexter Blackstock-Would be good
Lee Camp-doubtful, unless Smithies leaves
Eric Lichaj-as above but with Hunt having to go
Gary Mackay-Steven-old and boring rumour
Adam Hamill-wasn't great but Robins got him playing at Barnsley
James Vaughan-Best shout, really hope we get him

Hiroshi Kiyotake has attracted interest from Southampton, who are willing to offer 11m euros for the Japanese International.

Scouts representing the club were recently spotted at Japan's friendly game against Bulgaria.

Thats about 1001 players soton are after now

Why do you care how many players Southampton are linked too? Jelousy by any chance? Saints are on the rise, Up the Saints!

It's a rumour site, get out if it offends you.

Nah 1002 lol. I just want us to sign some players, the excitement is killing me. I wonder if pompey fans are feeling the same as me? I bet they are looking forward to raiding their league 2 rivals.

Raiding league 2 teams? Doubt it, most players are smart enough to realise they'll be playing conference football with no wages within a year (providing they don't go bust by then) if they sign for them.

09 Jun 2013 13:27:06
Stevenage captain Mark Roberts has left the club due to interest from 4 clubs.

Left the club just because of interest in him? Doubt it. He's still under contract.

His contract expires in the summer so it's more than likely that he'll leave

He IS out of contract but he will decide on his future at start of pre season

Thomas Hasseler set new manager to Kilmarnock job

09 Jun 2013 13:45:53
I have it on good authority that John bostock will sign for Swindon Town this week after being released by Tottenham

I hope so class lad on and off the pitch, time to come home John.

I posted last week see bostock was in the Blunsdon house hotel Swindon, don't know what he was doing could be visiting old friends? Or could be signing?

Hope this is true great player

Average player under Di Canio. Surely Hollands is a better player for us next season!.

We need Hollands and Bostock

Would love to see Hollands back, great player and a nice bloke.

09 Jun 2013 13:44:13
a bit more of a realistic transfer that I have heard about.
Yeovil are set to sign young swansea striker rory donnelly on a season long loan.

signed from cliftonville (20 goals in 49 games) last year but has yet to break into the swansea 1st team.

Realistic as he could gain valuable first tram experience at Yeovil

09 Jun 2013 19:36:31
Swansea city won't sell the club to a new and bigger owner that's why Laudrup is going

09 Jun 2013 21:01:41
Tom huddlestone close to a Swansea move

Hope rory does go out on loan to get some experience.

Is there anything concrete on the Tom huddlestone deal not too sure I think it's just a rumour!

09 Jun 2013 13:36:24
Glenn Whelan and Jon Walters are both set to leave to Stoke with Stoke now set to utilise Wilson Palacios and Sign a new Striker
Whelan is Set to Leave Stoke for £2-3 million with Hull Favorites
Walters will leave Stoke with Numerous Clubs interested including Celtic, Cardiff and Crystal Palace for £4 million

Ive been wondering if hughes will try and revive palacios's career, such a good player when he was at spurs

No one will pay £4m for Walters, don't flatter him! He has a good attitude but scores no where near enough goals to be worth £4m!
BLOObird

No one's claiming Walters is a top-class player, but he's a strong utility player anywhere up front or on the wings. Further, keep in mind that he's scored over 25% of Stoke goals, including having the highest scoring rate of any Stoke player (removing Upson). Percentages almost always matter more for predicting how he will do elsewhere, so that sure sounds like 4 million to me.

10 Jun 2013 19:41:16
John Walters is not worth 4million did you see him against Chelsea

Walters got 11 goals playing wide midfield which is pretty good and you can't base a players price on the basis of one game, I wouldn't take less than 5mil for Walters. {Ed003's Note - penalty taker}

One of the most reliable players at the Brit we've had this year. A blip against Chelsea, but bounced straight back the next match with goals (in the right net)!

He plays alot, too much in reality. He IS worth 4 million a to the right club, as he works like a trojan, rarely gets injured etc. Maybe a Premier promotion club would use his experience.
However 25% of Stoke goals isn't something to brag about, see Ed's penalty joke! Also Stoke have a few under used players Hughes might pull up in his place e. g. Palacios, Cuvelier, Ness and Shea. I think he'll replace all the attack apart from Crouch and Jerome (sadly under used and gifted player)
Oh and Owen, why did they buy him? him and Crouch were the start of the chairman/manager sourness.

09 Jun 2013 13:33:53
Ricardo Fuller to sign this week for Port Vale on a 12 month contract with an option for another year. Darren Carter also set to sign on a 2 year deal later this week.

09 Jun 2013 16:26:36
think you find he is rejoining preston on a 1 year deal

Not to sure on fuller, he's on a hell of a lot of wages at charlton and if we did sign him, it will kill off vale for good

Someone tell me why we need Fuller and Hughes and Williamson (who I think came on a ton last year)? The forwards worked their socks off last year tracking back and covering - is Fuller going to do this? Carter - perhaps will sign. but surely the priority is a centre back or two? And if Loft moves - and he hasn't indicated he will sign after a few weeks to consider - we could do with a couple of midfielders.

10 Jun 2013 00:52:11
Would prefer to sign calvin zola as he his only 28 and has a few good years left in him. ricardo fuller is 33 and probably after 1 final day, also got 2 dodgy knees. the bad news is that zola is strongly linked to a move to Carlisle where he has been offered a 2 year contract. (really don't know why he would want to go there).

A up, preston north end at it again
signing everyone they are, got to get a bet on them to win the league by 30 points

Preston are interested in signing striker Vini Dantas from Finnish side FC Lahti.

Jason McAteer tried to sign him for Tranmere couple of seasons ago but was cancelled due to no work permit being granted. Having looked at his stats it is unlikely one would be granted. 18 games since 2011 so my guess is this Is a no go signing.

Really this is a guy who could not get awork permit when he was a tranmere so highly unlikely

I think that I have more chance of being signed up by North End than this guy and I have two hip replacements

I wouldn't get your stats from Wiki haha

09 Jun 2013 12:48:08
Iker Muniain, Erik Lamela are top Targets for southampton

Saints looking to pull of these two highley ambitious transfers & make a real statement of intent this coming season

Champions League football is the target within 2 years and saints want to team these two with ramierez, rodrigues & lallana to fire them to the top 6 in the league.

With a solid midfield in scneiderlain, cork & ward prowse

And a mean defence consisting of Davide Astori & Dejan Lovren, shaw & clyne

£40m has been put aside for these 4 transfers.

Saints also scouting for cover a RB

The combination of those 4 signings would cost far more than $40million. Southampton are targeting big things but it's not to happen so cheaply.

I have heard this many times before and god I wish it to be true but we will have to wait and see won't we, but I doubt we will reach champions league football within two years give it 3-4 ywars we can 1-2 years europe league and stuff but the club are goingbto make some surprises signings this year and I expect them to spend in the region of 40-50 million maybe less heard rumours we had £100 million to spend but i'm not sure what we have to spend i'm just a normal everyday guy, all in all I hope we spend a decent amount and sign someone quality

LudacrusS

I doubt this is true. But dear God I hope it is. That would be AMAZING. Absolutely unbelievable players (unbelievable being a key word there. )

I think it would be closer to £60 million to be honest

It's going to cost more than 40 million, surely

09 Jun 2013 17:07:53
Absolute nonsense and nothing in this at all.

Saints will spend much less than £40 million. The £100 million figure people talk about includes wages as well as signing on fees.

For Southampton to qualify for the CL means overtaking Chelsea, United, Arsenal and Man City.

That isn't going to happen inside 5 years, if at all.

I would absolutely love this to be true, particularly Muniain! It would be amazing to watch him next year. Would be amazed if we pulled off all four, but I fully expect the Astori deal to happen and I think realistically we could get either Muniain or Lamela.

Munain is a new one but the other 3 were definitely in for and we've got the money to buy them, just up to the players now, which shouldn't be exceptionally difficult considering none of them will lose out on Europe

I didn't mean literally £40m. Just in that ball park

Your probably looking at:
Astori £10m
Lovrey £7.5m
Lamela £15m
Munuain £11m

Same thing year in year out going to buy everyone going to achieve a lot champions league I doubt well no you won't make Europa possible but I doubt

You're extremely ill informed about the values of some of those players

Astori £10-14m

Lovern £8-10m you got those 2 about right

but as for the other 2 you are way way off.

Lamela £20-27m
Munuain £18-25m

in fact the figure you gave for Lamela was what Roma paid for him in the first place!

These four signings would definitely propel us onto great things next year if we pulled them all off, but I personally can't see this happening. I think your looking at 40 million just for lamela and munian. So it will probably be 1 or the other if either of them and 10 million for each of the other 2 CBS that we could get if you believe the Astori rumours then that's almost done but lovren there's a long way to go and a lot of good teams infor him that are already in the position we hope to be in and higher! I think we will definitely see some big money spent this year and there will be some shock signings but like I said unlikely they will be lamela and munian but I would love to be proved wrong. COYR

It's crazy that as season tickets holders we hand over £730 to the club and we haven't a clue how they will spend the money. Just hope it not used as a wage rise for a none performer.

We only need 1 CB, espect Forren to feature a lot next season, but would love Lamela and Munuain, but think he's a bit unrealistic

Please be true, I doubt it, but, please be true!

Crystal Palace want to take Danny Rose on loan for the season.

09 Jun 2013 09:16:59
Barnsley midfield dynamo Perkins is interesting Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield and Blackpool. Flickers listening to offers but will only sell at the right price

Doubt he will listen to offers for Perkins,
he is a valuable member of the squad
and if they did sell it would have to be a guaranteed top six club

No chance,

Weve got enough midfielders, can't see this having any foundation.

No chance of leaving

If Wednesday are daft enough to offer daft money for a 30+ player, I'll carry him there,

Keep him

Barnsley would want a min of 1m for him, but doubt that would be enough for flicker to want to let him go. He personally is my favourite player in the Barnsley squad and I would be gutted if he left for 2.5m. Also why the hell would Barnsley sell one of there best players to a rival, if it was a team from the prem I am sure that flicker would not step in his way, as long as the money was right. Also the teams mentioned have as much chance as Barnsley of being in the top 6 so why move. {Ed003's Note - I think he is great,non stop 100% 'er}

Guaranteed top 6 club? This is the Championship & nobody is guaranteed that!

Perkins the lad plays in red, likes banana and cheese on his bread, he's still keeping single, so will not wed, his feet are strong and heavy as led. His hair is white and so are his feet and he's staying at Barnsley, as this is his treat lol

10 Jun 2013 06:49:08
Barnsley set to sign Kevin Davis on a 2 year deal

Barnsley set to sign Martin waghorn

On holiday in turkey met Marcus Tudgay and he said he is signing for Barnsley next week.

Ye corse he did like he would tell you

Hope so thought tudgey was ok will get goals with the way we play now.

They call him Martin Waghorn, he plays to score all day, he could be singing for Barnsley, if they can agree how much to pay. He can score not once, not twice and always goes for goals in a thrice lol

You poems are rubbish

Bristol Rovers are talking to Bournemouth about loaning Matt Tubbs for five months with a view to a permanent deal in the January window.

5 months would take him till November + Bournemouth are only looking to sale him

Would go to the end of December if the loan didn't officially start until August. {Ed003's Note - look he said January,stop splitting hairs}

Why do people feel the need to pick holes in peoples posts, the lad said January does it matter how many months this is?.
Back to the post - I hope the lad Tubbs does sign could be with the addition of JJ O'toole the catalyst for a good Year at the Mem!.

I wasn't picking holes in the 'end of December' comment, I was sticking up for the original poster who was criticised in the first comment!

How is the first comment criticism?

09 Jun 2013 11:54:42
victor moses to everton 10 million deal

Why leave Chelsea?

Because he was hardly getting a game last season and this season they will improve the wings. Fits into Everton very will if you ask me COYB

09 Jun 2013 11:48:35
Onismor Bhasera to leave Plymouth and sign for Bristol City, Rotherham United or Shrewsbury Town. He's already had talks with all 3 clubs.

Already done over, he won't be at Shrewsbury. We have Jacobson (Probable captain next year) Mquade (Yougster from Bolton) and Parry can play there.

09 Jun 2013 11:42:42
Kyle Lafferty has been offered to Millwall. FC Sion are keen to offload the Northern Ireland international.

According to the national daily, he can go for a cut price 500k.

Good luck with this bean pole who goes down if brushed by the wind,
if only his playing skills were the same size as his head you'd be on a winner!

This would be a great signing

09 Jun 2013 16:33:59
Yeah he'll do! Lomas won't take any crap off him anyway so his discipline should tighten up. Wall will bring him back down to earth and uncover a really good striker again I reckon!

Wages??

Please no! Seen him play before he is awful!

09 Jun 2013 11:40:53
Northampton town to announce two new signings tomorrow.
One a goalkeeper previously on loan at the club.
The other a proven higher level goalscorer who will sign a two year deal.

Matt Duke and Kevin Davies maybe??

09 Jun 2013 14:14:14
These players are Matt Duke and Shaun Harrad

09 Jun 2013 19:00:40
Duke and mcsheffery

Would Harrad really come back

09 Jun 2013 19:36:49
Says proven higher level scorer so that rules harrad out

Harrad was contracted to Bury last year, and loaned to Cheltenham. Bury last year were in division one. So, it doesn't rule him out.

10 Jun 2013 06:06:20
Says proven goal scorer at a higher level

10 Jun 2013 09:17:39
Marlon King

09 Jun 2013 11:38:17
Will Grigg to sign a 2 year deal on double wages, but Brandy to leave possibly to yeovil or Birmingham

Huddersfield to forget Paterson and Dean Smith to offer him a contract extension after he gets back from holiday

The only reason that hudds interest in patterson was made public is because the club or his agent wants the sale. Or else why even mention it. You think walsall have only just decided to offer him a new deal now. Get real. He`ll be off.

09 Jun 2013 11:23:51
yeovil to sign 2/3 players by then end of the week. players on the list include Jernade Meade, Korey Smith, Adyemi, Ryan Dickson and Bostock.

09 Jun 2013 11:08:59
I have an update from the third meeting between Alistair MacIntosh, Mohamed Al Fayed and Martin Jol in Switzerland with regards to Thiago Alcantara.

As it stands, Fulham will not be moving forward with their interest as they feel once word gets out, Manchester United's interest will become more concrete.

They are now looking at Radja Nainggolan of Cagliari who could cost about £8m, but FFC rate him at around £6m.

Nainggolan will not cost £8m Napoli, Juventus and Southampton have all enquired and been told £15 million or 18 million euros is the starting price. Good luck Fulham with that one

09 Jun 2013 11:01:43
Cardiff ins

Tom Ince £6.8m
Leon Barnett £400k
Joseph Yobo £1m
Gary O'Neil FREE

City are set to lose out on Gino Peruzzi to Man City or AC Milan.

They have targeted Jordan Rhodes, Darren Bent and Gary Hooper if they fail to sign former Liverpool and Arsenal target, Bafetimbi Gomis

BLOObird

One of the smartest posts I've seen on here in a long while

By the time malky does his in depth checks on this lot the transfer window will be shut.

09 Jun 2013 12:05:04
If we get all these it would be awesome we are also after kalou and kit bluebirds

All 3 players r also on west hams shopping list

09 Jun 2013 13:59:47
barnett will cost more than £400,000. would say maybe more like 750000

Happily have tom ince, but he could easily go to a bigger club

Peruzzi already in with Fancundo Farereya from Valez Sarfield these are done deals

Will be good when the officials behind finalising and confirming deals get back from their holidays!

The half back ronnie stam formerly of Wigan is set to sign to blackpool after his release.

Has he not got a broken leg

A crack on the ankle not a clean fracture, so not serious.

He wanted to move back to the Netherlands at Christmas.

09 Jun 2013 10:55:26
Tomas hitzelsperger and danny Wilson set to sign with blackpool fc after being released from everton and Liverpool {Ed030's Note - Wilson has signed for Hearts mate. }

The hearts deal may be cancelled as hearts may be falling into administration and there's an enquiry into how they can afford the player Celtic Bhoy7 {Ed030's Note - Ok thanks mate did not know that. }

09 Jun 2013 10:48:52
Goalkeeper David Forde is set to join West Ham as back up to Jussi Jaaskelainen. Sam Allardyce wants more competition for places and is a long time admirer of the Lions stopper. This will form part of a clearout of players at The Den that new boss Steve Lomas has been instructed to oversee in his new post.

Did west ham not sign a spanish keeper last week as back up?

We just signed a spanish goalie so unlikely

matt phillips rumoured to be heading to newly promoted cardiff with a fee of around 3 million. while they are also in talks with joseph yobo and carlton cole

Bury are said to be in talks with Ashley Grimes, after the recent take over, his wage demands are within their budget

Not possible Blackwell is on holiday in dubai

He doesn't sign the players that's the board's job. I'm sure they will keep him up to speed with their signings via the usual means phone/pc etc.

09 Jun 2013 10:29:06
Norwich to sign victor Moses on a season long loan with a view to buy him at around 7m.

Would be amazing

Good player, with a lot of pace, but heard Capel coming to Norwich

Could be a great signing! Heard a rumour about Castaignos from Twente too!

How much does Norwich have to pay for Castaignos, more than £5mill?

Second time I've heard the FC twente rumour

I like the Luc Castaignos rumour. Nacer Chadli, the Begian winger is also available from Twente as well. Either or both would be fantastic.

09 Jun 2013 09:44:34
I heard from a very reliable source (same guy who told me about dyer last season before the story broke) that Middlesbrough have agreed a deal with Sunderland for Danny graham, it's a season long loan deal with a pre-areanged price agreed to buy him if boro get promoted.

I think it's more likely to be a season long loan with the option of buying him in janurary or the summer depending on the players performance and the clubs financial and on the pitch performance.

09 Jun 2013 11:14:56
Boro promoted? They have more chance of getting relegated the way they finished last season.

Hope this is true. Would be a good deal for Boro

I hope you are right :-)

You are NOT in the know, Danny Graham is going to Cardiff, deal done, he is just waiting for Sunderland to sort payoff package.

Just read that Cardiff approached Graham but he has turned down any move taking him away from the North East, so you could be right, if we can get the finances

Besides. He can't sign for anyone for another 3 weeks yet unless it's on loan, in which case Middlesbrough would be able to afford it

Danny Graham left Swansea because he wanted to be closer to his native north east! can't see him heading back to Wales Boro seems to be the only logical choice if he leaves Sunderland as Newcastle his preferred choice aren't intrested.

Why would he go to Cardiff? He has gone on record saying him and his young family couldn't settle in Wales and he missed his native North East!

Not going to Cardiff, Danny himself has said he wants to stay in N. E as his family where home sick

He has not gone on record as saying him and his young family could not settle in Wales due to the fact he is SINGLE (engaged) and got no kids!. He only signed for Sunderland (West Ham offered £ 2k a week less) due to the money they were offering and length of contract would set him up for life, let's keep the rumours plausible.

Sorry your wrong his whole reason for leaving Swansea was to be back in the North east, his girlfriend is from the area and this is where he wants to be!

West brom news

Mbokani will cost 12 million, while bony will only be around 10 mark and with all the television money coming in that is in west broms budget

I can't see West brom paying above 5m for a new striker especialy one with no premier league experience! Franco di santo and carlton cole both free agents with premier league experience to play along shane long cheap and cheerful which is what albion like and both no where the back of the net is.

Cole can score to save his life nowadays, and I'd santo has only scored 12 or so premier league goals. Lukaku scored more goals last season than di santo scored in his entire career. Long was over 6 million so bony will be to

Wouldn't say di santo or cole "know where the net is"

09 Jun 2013 12:56:55
Di santo and Carlton cole 'know where the back of the net is' you on crack? Neither are exactly what you would call prolific!

All the players Albion have been linked to, won't be joining the club! Same thing every window linked with everyone but they do their business under the radar!

Bony for 6 mil double it plus he has been linked with bigger clubs so chances are slim.
lukaku is different class compared to cole
and di santo and let's face it albion ain't ever been able to attract big names unless thier on thier last legs!
I can't see them spending any money to be honest so freebies is all we will get!

09 Jun 2013 16:26:36
If wba do sign either di santo or cole they should sign di santo as he is 23 and is still relatively young whereas cole is 32 and near the end of his career

Mbokani will not cost 12 million, closer to 8 is what is being reported, possibly 5.5 million upfront with the rest in potential add ons

Di santo is a possibility although I do not rate him, cole is just stupid speculation, no chance of us signing cole

Wouldn't be surprised if we sign mbokani as our marquee signing and then buy another striker that nobody has heard of, just like mulumbu yacob jones gera ect

10 Jun 2013 00:43:30
Carlton Cole is 29 not 32 Born Oct 83!

10 Jun 2013 08:21:02
Cole is still old

09 Jun 2013 08:38:44
Wolves have been linked with Bristol City striker Steve Davies - the initial bid of just over £500k is an opening gambit in the negotiations - City will be looking to at least get back what they paid for him and more

Not surprised as KJ tried to sign him when he was manager at Millwall

Why would Davis join another league 1 club?

You'd be getting a class player if you sign Davies but I'm sure he will go to a championship club

If both Davis and baldock go who will city sign to replace them?

We can use Ryan Taylor ha ha ha

"Why would Davies join another League 1 club"? Answer - Money!

Surely BCFC can offer Davies the same money as wolves?

Doubt they can

I can imagine Wolves can offer a much more rewarding package over City.

They are actually still getting something like six million quid in parachute payments, as well as selling more season tickets and bigger match day bugets than anyone else in the league.

That said he is under contract with us and if we want to compete with Wolves we can't be selling them our starting players. Up to BCFC to show the ambition to say no.

It's not six million. It's sixteen million. It drops to a miserly eight million for the following two seasons. By which time we will be back in the Premier League!

It is £16 million but under the new TV deal it is due to be increased to £23 million for this coming season

The word from Molineux is that there won't be any movement on transfers coming in or going out until June 24th when the players return for pre-season. So don't expect any bids on any players until that time or later. Also need to clear some of the wage budget to meet with financial fair play rules. Players like, Roger Johnson, Jamie O'Hara and Kevin Doyle will have to leave. Widely expected that Bakary Sako will also leave, Fulham and Norwich are understood to be prepared to meet the £4m valuation.

FIFA Fair play rules come into action in League one, Where will Wolves find the money for High wages?

09 Jun 2013 08:32:11
James Hanson linked with Motherwell again this summer but there is also interest from Yeovil

Motherwell can't afford him and why would he go to Yeovil when Bradford will by pass them next season?

09 Jun 2013 07:51:07
More rumours circulating that, after missing out on Humphrey, ex-Liverpool speedy winger David Amoo is joining us at Rangers.

Haha would rather have Humphrey!

Hope it's true, my mate down in Wirral really rates Amoo when he was at Tranmere last season. Said he is really fast and only reason he left was he is not suited to Tranmere's playing formation.

09 Jun 2013 12:50:56
very bad signing if true the lad is gash

Heard in pub last night that Amoo is on his way to Rangers. Good signing with Liverpool "pedigree".

And he still does it seems

09 Jun 2013 07:03:36
Watford are interested in Israeli midfielders Eyal Golasa and Nir Biton.

09 Jun 2013 23:27:20
Quick question why is watford rumors different to other club rumors the pages are different can we get like and dislike buttons? {Ed003's Note - We are getting rid of them page by page when we have a chance as they only cause arguments about them}

These would be excellent acquisitions, with one having played in the Champions League and the other impressing on trial at Man City.

Both look good players.

09 Jun 2013 01:38:11
Rotherham have rejected a double bid for Ben Pringle and Kari Arnason from an unnamed championship club. I've been told the bid was from Ipswich and was a combined fee of 750k but don't quote me on that. Unlikely that an improved offer will be made.

Rubbish, no way Marcus Evans would spend that sort of money on those 2!

So it was an unnamed club but then apparently was Town.

Take a little more than a POOR $750,000 for those two trust me. They ll going nowhere!

Burnley have had a bid accepted for Bradford striker Nahki Wells. The fee is believed to be around £1m. Wells is expected to have a medical on Monday morning and should complete the transfer on wednesday.

And what is the source of this latest rumour?

Is Wells having his medical in Bermuda where he is currently on holiday?

A message to all clubs that are linked with Wells. Bradford don't need to sell Wells and they certainly would not sell him for £1 million

What a load of bull turned down 1.8 million for wells so why sell him for 1million load of crap he's staying at Bradford

I would be very surprised if Burnley got him for that much as seen him a few times last year in the league and he shouted quality.

Wells is currently in Bermuda on holiday. Not Burnley. Nice try though. Made me laugh a bit.

Pretty untested to be honest. League 2 was appauling level. A risk at a million.

Wells is staying with us! if we get promoted he will sign a new contract, if we dont, he will leave, simple!

The updates on Ipswich Town:

McGoldrick, Skuse, Tabb and Murphy have all agreed deals and will be confirmed in the early stages of July when the window opens.

Titus Bramble has been spotted in Ipswich and would relish the chance to return.

Matt Kilgallon is weighing his options as is Gary Dicker although both have good chances for signing for Town relatively soon.

DJ Campbell being released has kept McCarthy on alert, but it seems Simeon Jackson and other more youthful prospects are on Mick's agenda.

Ipswich are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper, Stephen Henderson, Ross Turnbull and Lee Camp are the names being linked.

Finally Stearman is edging closer to a move, but McCarthy wants to get rid off JET and Chopra before making an approach.

Hogg is exactly what we don't need, he never scores and never does much on the pitch

Gary Taylor Fletcher coming backing to Huddersfield.

Hope this isn't true

No he isn't, get your facts right

Please, no more of this, GTF is not coming back to Huddersfield, his profile is everything that is opposite to what our chairman and manager say they are looking for in new additions this coming season.

Paterson is back in england let the deal commense

Hope not. Only if he doesn't want paying and is happy to get 0 game time!

Is it only Huddersfield that get linked with old, past it players or do other clubs get these s**** rumours too?

Gary-taylor-fletcher is a good goal scorer, give him the ball in front of goal, he'll score 9 times out of ten

Marc-Antoine Fortune to Bolton on a free agent after he was released by West Brom.

He's all set two team up again with Tony Mowbray at Middlesbrough. sorry!

09 Jun 2013 13:14:57
That could mean though that Marvin Emnes could move to Bolton.

Don't want either of them at Bolton. not a prolific either of them.

We need to look abroad at Scandinavian or Dutch leagues. How about Jo Inge Berget the Norwegian striker who scored
against England the other day.

From a west brom fan- it looks likely that fortune will join Mowbray at the riverside

Fortune is a great striker and whoever gets him will be in for a surprise

Noooooooo! Give him a new contract no one works harder than MAF 100% commitment every game

Really hoping he goes to Bolton but he may go back to France.

Fortune cannot be classed as a "great striker" on this planet or any other. Hard worker? Yes. Goalscorer? No. Assist King? No. New contract? NO

No one works harder than Fortune? How about Shane Long for one

'Fortune cannot be classed as a "great striker" on this planet or any other. Hard worker? Yes. Goalscorer? No. Assist King? No. New contract? NO'

You clearly do not no squat about good forward play my friend. Fortunes power and selfless play brings other more creative players into the game. I'd give him another year as he can still contribute in my opinion.

I "no" more than enough to know that football is a game of opinions my friend and my opinion of Fortuné is that he works hard but his goal, assists and appearance record since we resigned him for a decent fee does not justify a new deal.

Former Bradford loanee Lee Holmes set to sign a 2 year deal with the bantams

Been waiting for this one to come up, as per usual. No he isn't.

Nope not true - try again

Nice one if true! Quality player and prob one of our best loan players over the last few years.

Will he bring his horse with him?

Lee Holmes would be the perfect wide outlet for John Spicer to provide the crosses for Geoff Horsfield to get his head onto!

Hope not. He'll be lucky to stay in the football league. Totally anonymous against City last season. Journeyman footballer I'm afraid.

Aston Villa's Marc Albrighton is currently in talks with Reading and Blackburn over a potential move this summer. Also, Robson-Kanu is on the verge of quitting Reading and stay in the Premier League. Finally, Blackburn have rejected an approach from Dundee United for David Goodwillie and are also looking to bring David Jones back from Wigan but this time he is available on a free and not loan.

GTR31

Albrighton has had 1 bad season due to injury but I can see Lambert giving him another go. I remember under Houllier he was great to watch & he was in Lambert's pre season matches before his injury. He won't be sold for anything under probably £5-6m.

Albrighton 2 reading and Blackburn be realistic
